Nice little walk around the pond. Its going to be real nice when those trees they planted grow in a few years.

Update 2 - 9/20/19: Still no fish! Update - 8/10/19: pretty sure its been fished out!!!!! Hope they restock it! We love bringing our kids here to fish! There is a walking trail around the pond, lights, grass, small gazebos and a bathroom (no running water though). Tiger Pond is great!

Fun place to take kids to fish. Stocked pond. Only issue is it is easy to snag on the weed barrier and rocks.

Its quiet and very soothing. Kids playing and fishing. It was great!

I love this place. The kids and I visit at least twice a week. Easy to get to. Nice little fishing hole.

Good place. Weve gotten lucky and caught some good sized ones. I wished people would be considerate and pick up their garbage and leave the place better than they found it. Kids and I always pick up our trash and other peoples trash before we leave. Fishing line, hooks, bait containers strewn everywhere even though there are trash cans really close.

Had a great time with family and dog.

A nice place for a family picnic

I went in the middle of the day on a Wednesday, so it wasnt too busy then. There are four covered picnic areas - two large group size with several tables and two with single tables. There arent many trees. If you just want to fish, I recommend bringing your own chairs, umbrellas and sunscreen! :)

Really nice park to take the dog for a walk or just sit back and do a little fishing! Nice new clean and quiet park for the family.

Because you can go fishing ( with a fishing license of course), walking around the whole pond with a friend or family be it human or furbaby from whatever time it opens til misnight

It was a lovely visit to this ‘hidden’ pond. However, there is no swimming allowed and if you are here to catch fish, I’d recommend going elsewhere. You are bound to catch a lot of small bass and get tons of fish bites but any catch you might get will be a small young trout. If you are teaching a child to fish, this is a great place to take them. Facilities are clean and the grass is well manicured. Make sure to bring a comfy armchair and an umbrella. It’s a nice pond to experience with the family, though.

What a great place to take the family for a picnic or fishing outing. This is a well-kept, clean and excellent Park maintained by the city of Aztec. Kudos to the city fathers for making this available to the community and all those who contributed money to make it possible. If more communities had great facilities like this, you would see stronger families and provide opportunities where they can create great memories for future Generations.

This is the place! Need a nice place to chill and relax? Do some fishing? Have a birthday party? Walk off some stress? This is the place! Restrooms available! Well kept and clean! Pick up your trash, and leave no trace! Be nice to the fisherman, and stop and visit with that nice guy in the straw hat!

The lights would not turn on in the picnic area and in the bathroom the lights would not work

Amazing fishing spot I got a spotted smallmouth bass and over 100 trout from all the days Ive gone

Havent been here since they first opened this place. Its nice now except all fishing hooks get caught the rocks in the pond at the edge when realling in fishing line. And maybe make the whole walk way in concrete or pavement as it was kind of hard for my husband to push me in my wheelchair on that. Also maybe make it where all the table areas have a walkway to them w concrete so people who like me are in wheelchairs can have access to get to them up under the shade and w family and friends. Bathrooms are nice just need more access points to get to them especially if your fishing...that way you can be wheeled to them on the walkway and back. Other than that great park. Id say just make it more handicap accessible.
