How can you not fall in love with this place? From the minute we walked in, it was gamer nostalgia. So many games I grew up playing,!I had to pick up a N64 and Mario 64. Me and the girly have been playing all day. You guys freaking rock! We will be back for that Zelda game soon!

I have never been to a game store with this amount of games. Seriously wall to wall with good games. The ps2 I just picked up works flawlessly. Thank you for keeping retro gaming alive.

Where too start... um.... well, customer service doesnt exist in this place. The owner doesnt work. Meanwhile, 5 customers are looking for help. Wouldnt you think a tech store should be able to ring up more than one item at a time, Nope!. I drove an hour just to see what they had and because of the staff and WAY OVER PRICED ON EVERYTHING IN STOCK, I WILL NOT GO BACK. I WILL TELL MY FRIENDS AND SUGGEST YOU DO THE SAME. There was only one guy behind the counter. I guess he was helping other customers when I came in so I just looked around, like persons do. Still with no acknowledgement that I was there, I was done looking around, had questions and stared at the one guy for almost 10 minutes waiting for him to realize I exist, awful! They pretend that these things are only available there and charge whatever they see fit. The collection there is subpar at best. You probably can find a rare game but will pay to much and its not professional or clean at all! Like they gave up on life and its, youll either buy it or not! This tech store doesnt take debit cards only credit, and they only want cash for some games, which Im not sure if they understand what year it is. All in all. The ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE IVE EVER HAD IN ANY STORE! EVEN QUICK TRIP CONVENIENT STORE UNDERSTANDS CUSTOMER SERVICE! At least they greet you coming in the door to get gas.. I AM NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER. I really can not believe the lack of the owner leaning against the counter and not caring about the, what could have been a long time customer. Im a IT coder. My son is and IT coder. Whoever is in charge has given up!ABSOLUTELY THE WORST!BUY FROM LOCAL OR AMAZON.I completely understand who and what was happening. My son has lukimea. Dont assume I didnt understand. He was helpful as much as he could be and a perfect gentleman. So, whoever was just hanging out in this store was a sore on your operation .If youre the owner, why did you put that in 3rd person context?

Update: Employee was very patient with me in showing that I need to have a surge protector and a few other tips with the console. Still kinda bugged that they left the HDMI cable out of the bag when they are bagging my purchaseCame to buy my kids an xbox360, employee left TV cable out of bag making me take the 14 mile trip again because they have no business phone operating.

So glad I found this gem! Saved me by fixing our overheating PS4 for a VERY reasonable price. Fun place to visit too with all the vintage games and gaming systems. We will definitely be going back for any of our gaming needs.

I have never been to a game store with this large of a game selection. Thank you guys for helping me find the ones I was wanting. Top notch guys here.

I took my PS4 in for a deep cleaning and now my PS4 works just like new no more overheating and they are super nice

Been coming there for quite awhile, have the membership and usually its a pleasant time and timely. My receipt shows the Employee who ruined that today is Dallas. Literally took an hour to trade in 3 games and buy 2 with that store credit. About 35-40 minutes waiting in line and finally making it to the front he told us he had to help the other 2 groups who were standing in line behind us before he could help us (no clue why). There was no confusion about who was next as we were all in line one after another. 20 minutes later we got to checkout and he spent the 30 seconds he needed to help us real quick. Im not sure if he is new to helping customers but everywhere else you help the person next in line. Saw the manager with the goatee peek his head out of the back a few times but never came out to help any customers. I see how my business and loyalty is rewarded. Good thing all my store credit is used up so I have nothing keeping me to go back.

Lots of games and consoles you wont find at gamestop. But they are a bit over priced. Picked up a used ds game that I found at gamestop for $8 less.

Horrible service. Horrible attitude. Lazy and dishonest. They failed to repair my power supply cable after taking it in 3 times. After the 4th time they sent me home claiming it was okay to use and it overheated again and ruined the motherboard. Its sitting in their shop now because the manager or technician Ive asked to call me back with an explanation hasnt done so and has avoided my call for over a week. Dont go here unless you want someone without experience to practice on your system and claim they fixed it for a quick buck and give you bad attitude about their mistakes.

Store is really dirty, but the selection of games is really good. The problem is they are well over retail prices. Download a price guide and see for yourself. I’m fair and I will pay retail or below but when x-men on NES is worth $5 retail and you have it for $12.99......give me a break.

Finally a gamestore with games in stock. Been all over the valley and only find over priced reproduction games and trash games. Love the selection, Ill definitely recommend you to all my friends.

DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME.Wouldn’t hold a game for far driving. Went back on original trade offer. Sold defective game. Tried making me wait for an hour to change the battery in a cartridge, only to find out they bought the game in defective and most likely never tested it. Bad attitude. Returned funds to my card but took a few days to get there. Horrible customer service.

Just had my playstation 4 serviced here for overheating. They put in a new fan and even cleaned the stains on the top of the system. Looks brand new and has been working flawless all day. Thank you guys!

First time here and I have to say that I love it here the customer service is on point.

Called for a quote. Showed up with exactly what I said I had all in working condition and was offered 1/3 of what they originally said.

Bought a game for my PSP and went out to the parking lot to try it out and will not read the game. My psp read all my other games. Literally came back in the store within 5 min to possibly receive a refund. Was informed it will only be store credit. Asked if I could possibly get a refund since I came back and showed them myself the game will not read, however they said no. All the games here could be bad and they will not tell you so you have to spend your money here regardless. At least have a policy where you could return a game within a period of time.

Never and I mean never would I let my kid spend his money here again .... stay away repairs they say they could fix it ..... not a chance told me a price on the phone and got there and then whooooooooooooooooops not the same price I was quoted i should have walked...... the next day told them it didnt work they said basically sorry we repaired it then went back told us yep its no good but we will buy it .... no thanks ....if youre getting something fixed dont be lazy like I was look around ... never again

Sooo I took my controller in last month and they fixed da dead zone but my controller is unresponsive when I try to move or look at an angle. I brought it In 3 times and I still have dis problem.

I found game smash on facebook. I had an old ps4 that needed a new fan they fixed it very affordably and I have to say they have an awesome store saw some of my childhood favorites in there very reasonably priced thier staff was super friendly and got my console back a little bit faster than I was expecting I will definitely be coming back.

Due to recent issues I have been out of work for a month and I was forced to sell my game collection. I called several places and was offered some pretty bad prices. I spoke with these guys, they made me an offer that was good, and after they checked out my collection, offered me even more due to the condition. These guys are now my go to retro shop. Thank you guys!

Went in for hdmi repair and they said they fixed it but they actually completely broke it. My fault for not asking them to test it before paying because I got home, it didnt work and now they say I broke it and no refund. Beware!

Selection of games and accessories is alright, but service overall is severely lacking. Also, some of the prices are much higher than they should be. I’d stick with amazon and offerup/eBay/Etsy instead of coming here.

Awesome place if youre a collector. Solid staff. The arcade cabinets upfront are a pleasant nostalgia trip. I personally would rather buy my old school game at a well lit building then behind an alley wondering if the craigslist guy is going to mug me. I think thats worth something.

Not too keen on the customer service so far over the phone. Dude didnt ask me any questions about my issue, nor did he provide any possible knowledge of my issue. Ill stop by, see how much service will cost me, and possibly update my review.

Came in and handed the guy on duty my games, and he says hell get to me. 1 hour later im asked if i want credit or cash, i respond cash. The guy then hands me back my games and tells me they cant do anything with them. (Ps4: COD WWll, and psp: Madden). Completely wasted an hour of my life.

Called asking about their Ps4 price and was put on hold for over 10 mins before i simply hung up.

This place is wicked awesome! So many vintage games and consoles! I picked up an N64 and Conkers and havent stopped playing.

The amount of retro games these cats carry is insane. I picked up so many memories and going to show my boys what real gaming is like.

So I see these guy posting on OfferUp and wow, talk about price gouging. GameCubes at 89.99? N64 at 189.99? Refurbished or not, those prices are absolutely insane. Collectors beware: do not come here.

After going to another local shop who wanted to charge me over $175 just to repair my hdmi, I stopped by here and talked with them. These guys know what they are talking about. I paid less than HALF of what those other guys wanted and I didnt have to wait 3 days. I was ready in 3 hours.

Brought in GTA San Andreas, Tony Hawk pro Skate 3, and a ps2 controller. They said they could only do $12 in cash or 16 store credit. Never again.

Just walked out of this place with a cart full of games! Owner is amazing and really down to earth and easy to talk to. Makes me feel like a kid again, and prices are reasonable. Have no problems spending a little more in here to support local businesses. Will definitely be back with my family and highly recommend store for anyone looking for older game systems and games.

GREAT ATMOSPHERE, walking in is like a blast from the past. A shop filled with ARCADES, video games, consoles, and collectibles. You could spend hours browsing their inventory to feed your nostalgia.

My son wanted a game so we came here, I didnt know they fixed computers too. Brought mine in Friday night and was called the next morning, it was repaired so I picked it up. Real life saver because I work from home. Thank you guys again.

I didnt get the guys name, but I called and asked what time they were open until on 04/18/2020. The gentleman on the phone told me they were open until 6:00 PM, so we decided to stroll on over from the other side of Phoenix, only to find out they are not allowing anyone in the store. Expected with everything going on, but that wouldve been simple to vocalize over the phone before making is believe we can come in and browse. There was no miscommunication either, he said WE ARE OPEN UNTIL 6PM. NEVER will be going this store again. Stick with Fallout games, or even Gamestop. Even offerup could find you better customer service.

Its a great friendly place & informative on the components that needed repair. Also the traffic is light & simple to get to the location.

My boyfriend introduced me to this place, and I am very happy he did! We will go out of our way to visit that place and check out what they have. They repair, replace and have a great collection to browse. Theyre very affordable and honest people.

*Updated review* Great store, and friendly staff. However, they have it very crammed with arcades games I’m assuming they are trying to sell? Makes it very difficult to browse as the store cannot accommodate more than 10 people with the machines in there. Lots of great stuff and finally checked a few games off my list. However, they tend to over price some games. I understand they need to make a profit. However, the logic on how the representative of the store explained the pricing of the products did not make much sense as some of the same items I searched with his logic were 70-80% overpriced. I would go back, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to make a trip to this store. Great to visit at least once if you are looking for that nostalgic feel.

I was in there about 11/2 years ago. The boys PS4 plug was broke. He gave me one, no charge after he made sure system was ok. Greatful, being on a small budget.Highly recommend

I contacted the BBB and they got back to me about the false advertising they offer on there site it will stay on there record for three years and this is due to the fact that the company refused to do a service they offer and hung up every attempt when I called them still as a month later the BBB has reached out multiple times to them and they still wont make good on there promise I provided screenshots and very detailed information I will never deal with this place ever. If the owner finally decides to reach out I will update.

Game Smash gets better every time I enter the store. Ive sold old consoles to them in the past, and theyve really stepped the game up the last few times Ive gone in there. They recently added around 10 arcade machines, which has been a big selling point for me. The customer service is pretty good, and I would recommend the store to anyone looking for a cheap, reliable alternative to over-priced game stores.

This place is a gold mine for collectors and gamers alike. I originally came in to have my Playstation 4 repaired, I didnt realize they have a large amount of classic games.. I was able to pick up several games I needed for my Nintendo game collection. The employees are very knowledgeable with games and systems, and even set up consoles for me to test out some old games I wanted to play. They had my PS4 repaired and ready to go within an hour while I was browsing their store. I could not be happier with the customer service. A+ Guys. Enjoy the pizza i had delivered, you guys deserve it.

Friendly staff and a nice selection of games. Like most places I wish it was bigger so it would be easier to move around, but that is a small complaint. If you are into gaming this place is worth checking out.

Theres a lot of Retro games and Retro console that you would never find at Game Stop. They carry accessories for older video game systems and also fix old and newer console. Another thing that Game Stop does not do but you can fine here, is that they will resurface (buff) your games. Some of their price tags are not very pleasant so it helps if you become a member so you get deals on basically everything. Plenty of parking always. The hours are also great.
