Such a great range and place to practice tactics techniques and procedures. I highly recommend coming here for training. I couldn’t find the picture of the black bear that came o to the range with us but he was cool and left us alone for the most part.

I have been going here for about 16 years now. It is a place to go and recharge your batteries. Everyone is nice and friendly! The guards at the front gate are very professional and always helpful. I am Retired Military and this is my Shangri-La for me and my Military buddies. Thank you all for keeping this going for us! God Speed!

Typically open to public on weekends, $10/per person day pass for exploring/fishing Old Florida... 100k acres of undeveloped land mostly slash pine, some oak and scrub. Dirt roads, 4wd recommended. Closed for main use as military training area Mon - Fri, but schedule varies. Primitive camping and hunting available but be aware military regulations are strict. This is NOT a state park dont expect the same treatment or facilities. Hunters dominate public use Oct - Dec. Area is also logged and has cattle leases, and monitors endangered species such as gopher tortoise and scrub jay.

I lived 10 years here. And loved it. Arbuckle used to be clear water lake white sand bottom. And big bass and wormouth and crawdads.

Cool place..

Great place to go for hunting, fishing, camping, recommend to anyone.
