I love amc its clean 100%Safe distance seats . visiting again soon

I had a great experience watching a film with the Dolby Digital experience. The sound was incredible. The seats were amazing as well which were large, clean, and extremely comfortable with cup holders and electronic seat adjustment (recline, etc). Truly a fantastic theatre experience and definitely worth the money ($17) for reserved seating. C11 and C12 were the best seats in the house.

The cashier window had no one selling tickets. Then the ticket machine was not printing. The line for customer service was 10 minutes long. Inside was dirty and the line for popcorn was another 10 minutes. At this point we were going to miss the movie. We actually gave up and didnt buy the $9 popcorn and $9 for two waters. The theater itself was tiny and the sound only from the front. Seats are not comfortable and recline less than a airplane seat. The mens bathroom was so shockingly filthy I am considering calling the health department. This is the worst worst movie theater experience I ever had, and Im old enough to remember single plex theaters. Yuck yuck yuck. Never come here.

Today I visited the theatre and it was quite fun. I got there a few minutes before the movie started but the purchase was a breeze and there was no hassle given I arrived with only minutes to spare before the start time listed. Our film was so entertaining and funny, Spies in Disguise!!!!! It kept me tuned in To see what would happen next. Our seats were still easy to locate surprisingly the guests were filling up the theatre fast.

Very clean movie theater and comfortable seats. They play all the good movies. I like that it’s inside Aventura Mall you can walk around or get something to eat. This is a one stop shop. They have regular movie food and a nice arcade in lobby.

Went on a lengthy bus ride to see a movie here in IMAX while on vacation but the screen is a miniature version of one and the “signature plush rockers” just have some padding and barely go back; overall it’s nothing special and borderline deceptive so look elsewhere for a premium movie experience.

Went to theater (4/28/19) and half the soda machines (all four to the left of the counter) didnt work and had a soda swamp in front of the ones that did. Half the butter machines (one whole side) empty.. and box of papertowels sat on the counter (like they were too busy to fill the dispensers but not drop a box on the counter. Lines were terrible long for concessions. Now.. this review is updated because I contacted the CEO of AMC and he DID respond and their customer service department is taking action to look into (and hopefully resolve) this. You can see by other reviews that this isnt new to this AMC, so time will tell. So if you arent feeling that they are living up to their end of the bargain for providing a GREAT theater-going experience, contact them and let AMC know. Quite honestly, this isnt something to take to the actual manager because he or she would have to be completely oblivious to NOT recognize this already! Take it to corporate and let them know. I give credit to the CEO for not simply ignoring one patrons email (mine), and for responding. Thank you, Mr. Aron!

I do not frequent Aventura Mall that much so after parking in the garage, I used the Interactive Mall Directory to locate the AMC Theatre which was on the upper level of the mall. My son and I were going to watch Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw cause were big fans of The Rock and Jason Statham.You can either stand in line and get your tickets or purchase them in advance online or at the ticket kiosk, and assign yourself a seat; with the option to view the movie in digital, Dolby, or IMAX format. After the ticket greeter told me which theatre I had to go to, my son and I went to the concession stand to redeem offers for a free large popcorn & drinks. There was also a few arcade games to play while you wait for your movie to start. The walls were adorn with posters of movies that were already playing or were coming soon. There are eighteen air conditioned theatres showing different movie genres which are posted above the entrance, making it easy to find. The theatre I went into was large and spacious. It didnt have reclining seats, but it was comfy. My son and I had an enjoyable experience and I look forward to returning soon.NOTE: Sign up with AMC Stubs where you can earn points on concessions, tickets, and more. On Tuesdays, the tickets sell for $5.

Good experience could use some updated chairs. To much fuss over having something to drink but they said they cant because of coronavirus. I have never heard of anyone getting it through your drink. Maybe they know something I dont

And every time you make me watch all those terrible horror movie trailers, and you also make the sound deafening!!!. Me and my friends have to wear earplugs!! This is just unacceptable. There are plenty of movie theaters where one could feel like a human and not being bombarded by hight decibels.More over Last night the future movie trailers took from 7: 15 to 7:54. Is there a way to curtail all that nonsense. I feel like next time I am in the movie I will show up at at 7:40 instead of 7:15, and I am sure miss nothing. Actually you may see for yourselves - 3/4 of the viewers show up .5 hours after the start.Please take to heart my complain, I am a voice of many viewers.Thank you.

Not a lot of options for theaters around here. So its good the mall has a theater. Its nothing special but thats all I need from a theater. Good customer service, good food. Never a problem.

One employee (Andy, pleasant & efficient)checking in a line of 30+ patrons. Ticket checkers dont greet you, but very rude when asked for restroom direction. Concession stand employees were pleasant and kept the line moving quickly. Location very clean.

An excellent cinema for families. Showing About 20 movies at the same times, IMAX, and slot machines. If you dont like the movie you selected, you can safely move to another room for another film. We always watch two films - its too hard to take away children

The theater was alright. The cleaning could have been better though. The seats were dirty with food from other people before us. Sound and video quality was good though. Its an okay theatre.

I had not been here for a while but when I went, somehow I thought the theaters were better. They have a seriously retro vibe. Still working how I feel with this one. Good service though.

Dirtiest movie theatre I’ve ever been to! The concession stands had open sauce packets, pieces of food, and used napkins everywhere. The floor was so dirty I left with the bottom of my sandals sticky. You have to pick your seat while buying your tickets and the seats we picked were dirty like people had spilled sauce on them before. Then, on top of everything the lights had the BRIGHTEST white lights on through the entire commercials. So couldn’t even watch the previews of other movies. (See pictures.) Don’t ever come here.

I love this place, its huge, and lines are quick, restrooms very clean. Most of the staff is very welcoming. They need a little push :-) but you will definitely have a nice experience.

If you go to the AMC 24@Aventura later in the day there are no bothersome long ticket lines. A clean spacious movie theatre experience overall. I go weekly to catch the new releases in film. Get a chance to walk through a mall where I cannot afford anything.

This AMC is perhaps the worst run movie theater have seen in in awhile. Staff is badly trained, rude and unhelpful. Every time.Also, you might be traumatized to see the seats when the lights are on - youll wish you could watch the movie standing; they really are that disgusting.Great location and decent parking.

On Sunday, I took my little brother to the AMC theater to watch Onward. I am rating this AMC one star because it is too expensive for what you’re getting and the vender service sucks. One adult ticket is $18 before tax and a child’s ticket is $15 before tax. Which is already $33. At the concession stand we ordered two flat bread pizzas which where $15 each before tax and adding the drinks brought it to about $43 I had to pay for food. After ordering, we were told it would be about 12 minutes before our food would be ready which makes sense since they had to make the pizza. So I decided to take my little brother inside to get settled in so he could watch the movie. when we arrived in the theater I was extremely disappointed to see that the seats were not recliner seats. They were just regular old movie seats for almost $20 A PERSON AFTER TAX. ( you can go to regal and get a COLLEGE student ticket for $12 AFTER TAX and have fully automated recliner seats!)After settling my brother in, I went back out to get our food. I stood in line waiting for my food, with a few other customers, for about 20 minutes before someone came to help us. When I asked why he was taking so long to help one person I was told he was the only one dealing with the pickup line and he was also the one making the food. The sad part is my pizzas were already made and just sitting there to be given to me. By the time I got the food the pizzas were cold and 30 minutes had passed so I missed the first part of the movie. At the end of the day, I spent a almost $80 for a SUBPAR experience. Safe to say I will never return to an AMC ( especially this one) unless it’s FREE!

Saw the premiere of Bad Boys the movie was amazing, until someone decided to turn on the lights in the back rows. They corrected a few minutes later. My family seemed to enjoy the food. The theatre still hasnt upgraded to recliner seats but nevertheless we had fun.

Never had much issues with movie theaters as theyre all similar except this time around. Im an A-List member and visit a lot of theaters and felt the need to give a shout out to an employee that went above an beyond. We had reserve seating for all four of us and we werent able to settle down in them as there were people in them. We found Alexis, to help alleviate the situation and she handled it with grace, she apologize for the situation and found a solution that would benefit both parties and made sure we left taken care of. AMC should be proud to have Alexis as an employee! Awesome customer service!!

Ticket and food prices are constantly on the rise which makes it a more and more expensive experience. Being a Stubs member helps some, especially with long concession lines. The theaters are nice and clean. Dolby theaters are a few bucks extra but the spacious, comfy reclining seats and audio/visual experience make it worthwhile. Wish they would have food delivered to you at your seat, though - that would be great. Overall, love AMC at Aventura Mall.

Love this movie theater better than back home . Clean great movies popped corn candies and drinks you get your self. Great seats love coming here.

I really love this theater my boyfriend and I dont mind the 30min drive because the experience is so much better than the AMC around us. Staff is friendly. Theater is comfortable .

The best place to spend an entire Christmas day. Eat early lunch at 5Guys (the best french fries anywhere) and enter the AMC at noontime. No crowds, no lines; move from movie to movie and see spectacular shows all day in empty theaters. No cellphones to bother and no snotkids.

Just saw Captain Marvel it was Amazing. I had a great time the service was impeccable. Heres a code for a 5$ popcorn and drink expires 3/24

I always buy my tickets for the app and Im doing very well, I have no problem, it came easy and fast. The theaters are comfortable and the parking is excellent. Everything is good in these theater of AMC in Aventura Mall.

This theater doesn’t even deserve one star! WARNING: DO NOT COME HERE ON A SATURDAY EVENING! Too many teenagers coming in out of the theater room we were in without tickets being very disruptive and rude! I will NEVER come back here on a Saturday night!

Great outing with family. A little akward that its in the mall. Thought it would be really nice since its AMC but the theater is a little outdated. No reclining chairs and bathrooms are a little old. The concession stand lines are horrible! Waited at least 15 minutes. They employees for the most part were pleasant. Jennifer helped us at guest services with getting a rewards card!

The cinema was busy for even a Christmas evening movie. Staff was busy cleaning keeping the cinema tip top shape. Lines to the concession stands were super long but thank God I had the A list status. The only reason of a 4 star is because the hotdog wait was 30 min and there were no regular coke. No coke in a movie is a no go. Hence the 4 stars. Need to have those drinks fully replenish.One sad part of this AMC cinema is that the chairs are not recliners.

With a line of 40 people, they only had one person servicing the concession stand, plus one servicing VIP line. It took 15 minutes to get through the line and it has been the same every time i come. I have to choose between getting popcorn and getting a good seat

How does a movie theater have seats that block the screen? This is absurd. Full price tickets for a blocked view. To make matters worse, you see the stairs. The seats are outdated, the movie theater is pretty dirty, and they have the weakest soundproofing Ive ever experienced. We could hear everyone talking I. The movie theater and I could hear all of Avengers: End Game in the next theater. I am an AMC A-List member, but I will not be going back to this theater.

When I was younger this was my theater & up to about 9 years ago I still wore this theater out.And its not that the theater has changed much but the place around it is so much different that even going here changes the experience. Add to that the increase in prices because of that & and its just not as good anymore, relative to other AMCs, especially the newer ones.Now that Regal refurbished Oakwood theres more competition too.

This AMC is closest to my home so I go often. I’m a a-list member as well. On the busy nights like $5 Tuesdays they need more staff or to have the 2nd concession stand open. The line gets insanely long and I’ve missed part of my movie before even when I’ve come 30mins before my movie started. The prices are decent and the theatres are mostly clean.

I really like the parking here, you walk from the parking deck right into the theater. This location is 40 miles from my home but worth every second to experience the Dolby Theater. I live the Dolby experience.

The theatre is really uncomfortably warm, it must be at least 80° f in here. Its stifling and the air feels state. Its quite obvious that not only isnt the AC running now it hasnt run in some time. I like to be cold if anything in a movie, I dont want to be sweating, especially not for the price of tickets these days.

Horrible. The Mall is amazing but this AMC is the worse one I have ever been. The seats are small and somewhat uncomfortable. The theater is HOT and humid! You can hear the vibrations of the theater next to us.Dont get me wrong, I love the AMC theaters just not this one not one bit.

We waited forever to purchase tickets, because the self service machines do not work. Ended up having to buy tickets online to avoid missing the movie. There was only one cashier and the line had at least 20 people. The seats in the theater are so out dated but you pay the same price as theaters with comfortable seats. Dirty, with bad management. They need to do better!

It was ok. Rather be home to watch a movie. Too crowded and too expensive to watch a movie that might be terrible. Not worth the headache. The screens at movie theaters are not as nice as the ones we have at home. Movie theaters are overrated.

Always a Great Picture & Sound. BUT....The Theater DEFINITELY needs to do a MUCH BETTER job with overall CLEANLINESS!! I know theres is alot of traffic, but thats NO EXCUSE for the conditions throughout the theater.

The cinema is a little dirty. The restrooms are dirty as well. Also if there is a famous movie the lane for popcorn becomes huge so you will need to be there at least one hour before your movie begins. They are loosing so much money from the popcorn stands because a lot of people prefer not to wait in these huge lanes... very poor management and very poor staff selection. Everybody who work there are too slow for the volume of people they are getting.

Movie with the lights on. So bad experience. I complained and nobody came to run off the lights. Amazing!

This theater is the best one Ive been to. It is literally all the best parts of my home theaters combined and dont even get me started on the soda fountains. I would 100% recommend this establishment to anyone!

This movie theater, is located inside the Aventura Mall, within the City of Aventura. Off Biscayne Boulevard. Weve always enjoyed come and going there as a family group to see our favorite movies, and new releases. But it really really seems, like the prices just keep going up. Entrance prices. Snack concession stand prices also continue to rise. Lots of lots of restrooms. Disability access. Good management. Employees seem to be happy, to be working at this movie theater. That definitely says, a lot about management. Good customer service. At concession stand. If you go go during the week. Matinee, is your best bet. That means early in the day. When that suggest to go late at night. There is a totally different crowd. Black family friendly. Especially for small children. Best bet is to go during the day, before the sun goes down. I really do enjoy this movie theater. I really dont have anything bad to say about it. We will be visiting, in two weeks. We are movie theater people. LOL I hope I was helpful. Concession workers need more training in customer service. Not attending or quick thinking. The burger sliders disgusting. Dont look and certainly dont taste at all like the picture. The picture is a grilled burger and you get a microwaved version. All the food areas are dirty on the customer side... cant imagine behind the counter.

This is my go to movie theater. It is always clean. The seats are nice and spacious, and the staff is always helpful. Great place to watch the lastest film. Great for families, friends, or even for a working wife and mom who just needs a little alone time. Long story short, its a great movie theater. Go, enjoy!

Good theater space with all the usual options. The staff are quite nice happy to talk but sometimes at the expense of work ethic. Though they do seem nice and genuine.Some guests will take advantage of this theater and will go to multiple theaters which can be distracting.

This was my first time at this AMC but Ive been to others. I should mention that I went in the morning so I didnt have any problems with long lines or anything being dirty. I did notice it was a lot more crowded when we were leaving. The only issue on this occasion was that two of the butter dispensers were empty. As they had just opened, I see no reason for that unless they ran out. They were also out of cheeseburgers. I did go on a Sunday but you would think they would stock up for the weekend when most people go to the movies.Overall it was a great experience. I love AMC.

Excellent shopping center despite being some remodeling areas, you can visit because it has large stores, very good cinema with 24 rooms ... I recommend it 100%.

You pick your seats but ours didnt recline. Ticket machines wouldnt take my gift card. The 1 rep at the window was nice but no one to help him. The 2 guys inside at customer service were taking guest but not from the line that was outside, thought that lacked training and common sense. Not sure if Ill be back.

AMC at Aventura Mall is a good movie going experience.Good selection of movies and good amenities.

We always come to this movie theater. We normally get tickets for Dolby or IMAX, so we dont have deal with getting there early to get seats and because the movie experience is much better. I have the rewards card, so getting popcorn and munchies is not stressing either because you get to wait less. The theaters are kept as clean as possible, same thing with the restrooms. Theres a small area with arcade games.

Not crowded, a bit difficult to find a parking space. Nice 3D screen. Too loud in the higher frequencies, should have brought ear plugs.

The previous reviews I read all hit it on the money. This location needs serious help. Only IMAX and Dolby have reserved seating and all the other auditorium are FCFS. The seats were very used & abused. If I didnt have AMC stubs A-List, I would have left and gotten a pass to go to another theater honestly... This theater was at one time a very nice place but boy oh how time flies

Crowded seating and ridiculously high priced food made this an experience to forget. Compared to AMC Pembroke Lakes, the Aventura location is woefully behind the times in terms of food and comfort.

Always shows the newest movies but still shows some older ones.

Only good thing is that 24 screens means finding some lesser known or older movies that’s have been out for some time. Very very old and dilapidated facility compared to other AMC in the area. I was in the IMAX. Felt like stepping into a time machine to the 90s era movie theater. Lines unimaginable for concessions (24 screens and one concession location....what?). Bathrooms maintained poorly (full trash can..... do they ever get cleaned?).

Park on the top floors if you are going to the movie theater. Great mall. Great theater.

Ive been going there for a long time now, and its my favorite, also not as expensive as Regal Cinema on South Beach. I strongly recommend that you go there.

We went to see Aladdin theater 7. The overall experience was nice. Only 1 concess stand was open hopefully that changes soon due to long wait time..all in all I would choose this theater again

Excellent. Did an early morning movie. Quiet not, not as much traffic and able to get in some shopping to beat the large crowd.

The theaters are dirty. They are cleaning them as u enter to find your seat but they are still dirty. The restroom was worst! Love Aventura but they need to clean up!!

Went on Christmas Day and was very disappointed about the service and cleanliness of the movie theater. There are two days out of the year that brings people to a theater, make sure you are fully staffed and everyone working together to make a great experience. There is no excuse for the line to get popcorn to take 30 to 40 minutes long when they have systems in place for it to move fast like filling up your own cup of soda. Another is cleanliness, it was dirty behind the register where food is being served. That is a big no no to me! Serving areas should be the cleanest. Finally the bathrooms and theaters. Bathrooms should be periodically cleaned and restocked. They weren’t! I will never return!

I used to go here so often as a kid. But for some reason it has gotten really expensive. And it sucks a bit because its one of the few movie theaters in the area. The good thing is also sensory friendly movies. Love those. Great experience for children with Autism or other sensory processing disorders. Good idea and very inclusive. I really like the ambiance. I would give 5 stars but it is still a bit expensive. Plan on spending at least $40-$50 for 2 people.

I love this movie theater when Im in Miami. Its inside a great mall with a nice food court in plenty of restaurants. The assigned seating is excellent. A great place to beat the heat and the hunger.

The movie was great. But from we got their the line was long for popcorn even when we were leaving. I think they need more food places around that area. We should have stop at McDonalds first.

Easy location, part of the mall.
