Super fun greenbelt exploration for young kids. My 5 & 7 yr olds loved it!
Went on a walk down the creek that runs under Larry Monroe Forever bridge with my boyfriend just to kill some time on a Saturday and get some fresh air. The creek was a little dried up this time of year, but it still made for a great little trek. We found some cool spots to sit and enjoy nature along the creek until we reached a spot that was full of water that we could no longer walk through. Beautiful greenbelt!
Very quite and peaceful walks here
If you live locally, great place to walk....peaceful...but no reason to drive over...as no place to park. Small walking trail for the neighborhood.
Ya there isnt much water in the creek this time of yeea
Because I want it for myself. Dont go there
A hidden gem just a few blocks east of S. Congress, terrific trail runs from Riverside to Live Oak, with Little Stacy Park at one end with playground, kids pool, basketball, grass volleyball, and tennis courts, then Big Stacy pool at the other, open year-round & free. Plenty of open space to play ball and benches scattered throughout. Never crowded as its mostly locals.
Gotta get out early to avoid the crowd great place to walk the dogs
Such a beautiful walk any time of year, the trickling stream takes me to a wooded alcove that seems much further from civilization than in actuality. I meet my girl here all the time for a romantic walk
Peaceful spot tucked away behind the trees. A perfect get away in da neighborhood.
Neighborhood park! Has a baseballbackstop! Also available are tables, park benches, bathrooms, basketballcourt, volleyball area, running trail, ample parking, nice tree coverage anda running creek year round! Great forfamily or group outings!
Lovely, lazy, shady South Austin park!
Peaceful walk. I enjoy it.
Bc it was so peacefully
Beautiful place for a hike. No fish in the creek tho.
Greenbelts all over the place! This makes for a nice north/south bike ride or hike when you coming to or from the river. Generally very little traffic in the greenbelt on on the adjoining streets, which makes the trip nice and scenic. Also there is park equipment all along to satisfy the nearby residents.
Hiking trail in a neighborhood with pretty short actual wooded trail area
Great for walking yer doggo.
As someone who has fallen into almost every major creek in austin, this is one of my favorites
Worked out here very cool place I did not know about
Small (13 acre) but nice park and trail connecting Little Stacy and Big Stacy parks.
An oasis in an oasis...tell Buddha hello...
Nice
Ok.
Beautiful trails!
