Baby and I don’t go out very often but when we do we love coming here to MidTown Live. It’s a lively, fun and mature crowd. Good food and drinks along with the dance floor and upbeat music. It’s a great party atmosphere with friendly staff. You won’t regret stopping by. Check it out for yourself.

This place is amazing. I am 23 and I grew up on soul music, jazz, rnb, all that good stuff... if your looking for somewhere that’s chill and old school this is the place to be! ️

Friendly staff, good food, and good times.

Went on a Friday night recently. The “DJ” had a playlist rotating that wouldn’t automatically transition to the next song. A few times the same song played back to back. At one point the music stopped for about 5 minutes and the DJ was nowhere in sight. Drinks are ok. Food is ok. Parking is limited but there is a huge lot across the street. Nice size venue.They need a better DJ and better selection of music.

Great place to hang out and have a drink - we took our employees there and had a great time. Really friendly staff, owners, and management.

Interesting, unexpected surprise inside. I went here to play in a free poker tournament on a Saturday afternoon. They had lots of college football games on all over. The food selection was pretty basic, but the food was good. Ill be going back to try the buffet. It certainly feels more like a neighborhood spot than any place in my part of town.

Great place to go to have a drink and unwind. I love their chef salads. They normally have a really good DJ.

Cool place really reasonable drinks the food isn’t the best. I don’t really see what all the hype is about they chicken is okay needs a little seasoning to be honest it’s really bland but fresh I like the fact that it’s cooked to order. Nice atmosphere good vibes!

I arrived very early 4:30 sat at bar with my friends. About 9:30 we were told by security that we could not sit at bar anymore it was about to get crowded. Security moved us to another table. I noticed that the bar area where we were removed from was now taken over by standing patrons. Why did we have to move. Five minutes after being moved we were asked to move again because now the table we were seated at belonged to the photographer. The security obviously knew this was the photographers table so why move us to this table. Needless to say me and my friends left for unhappy. What a way to treat out of town guest. We did bring this problem to the attention of the managers but they did not care. No explanation was given as to why we were forced to leave the seats we had been in for 4 hours. We will NEVER visit this establishment again.

I had the best time since I have had in a long time. The food was great and I especially love the atmosphere.

Really glad this place opened back up. Austin needs more night clubs and lounges for African Americans to enjoy. Midtown is and will always be an Austin staple.

Food is great homestyle cooking. They have big screen t.v. to watch games. Dance classes on Thursdays free

I recently moved here trying to find a fun and laid-back atmosphere to listen to good music, good food, and good drinks. I tell you all 3 of them was good. I diffently will return and bring my family when they visit.

I love Midtown its a great place to see old faces as well as new faces. It is definitely a legendary spot for Austin people

Im a regular there. Its a great place to greet and meet and the food is delicious. My favorite place to go dancing and let my hair down.

The food is good price is right . the restrooms are clean. the the sevice was great. the best part is that it is open 24 hrs.

I love going here after a long day of work, the owners are amazing but the waitresses are too much. If I was asked to change anything about Mitown. It would be the waitress. They come to work looking ridiculous. Im sure that is not who you want serving your customers with their rude customer service. I always go straight to the bartender for anything I need. I dont care if the line is long. I will not let a waitress from there serve me. other than that a grat place to be and the wings are amazing.

Get the wings with sauce on the side...you wont be dissapointed.
