Great Movie theater staff is very friendly popcorn is delicious and inside the auditorium looks and sounds great

Regal Metropolitan cinema buildings architectural design and structure is very nice. Well maintained. It has ample parking spaces and the staff are friendly. I wish it has a bigger recliner chairs. The food and refreshments are a typical types you can see on movie theaters, has beer and wines. Pop-corn, soft drinks, candies, ice cream and chips.

Staff are nice, love that they have Coke Zero, and their popcorn always is always delicious. The only thing Id have to point out is that while I dont know for sure if any rooms have the recliners what I do know is most do not. While I dont necessarily need my legs up - the benefit for me of the loungers is that there is more room between the rows so they have become a preference due to my long legs.

Disappointing that theater for the Fathom Event had not been cleaned of debris from the previous screening, much less sanitized or otherwise cleaned. Pre-show filler material played at slightly too-loud volume, yet when the feature started there was no sound at all, so had to make the long walk to the concession area to ask for sound, completely missing out on the beginning of the feature for which special event prices had been paid.

Overall it was a clean theatre. Not very busy for a Saturday night which was pretty nice. I took a wrong turn down a hallway and security hunted me down and escorted me to the right theatre. I would eventually figured it out, but I can appreciate Regal for being extra and providing a safe environment to watch movies in

At first I was going to give this a much lower rating because when I went inside the theater there was popcorn everywhere and it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned up. Also, the top of the screen had some kind of cloth hanging over it so it was quite annoying during the movie. The reason it’s getting four stars is because when I spoke to the manager about these two situations she offered to make it right give us another ticket to come back and told us that should be so happy to see us again and give us another chance.

First time visiting and arrived to catch the earliest showing as I had other plans after. But the architecture and design of the theater is unique compared to the others Ive visited. Wonderfully customer service when you order your tickets to the time you order some concessions. The atmosphere is inviting and the visual aspects are wonderful to look at.

Great theater! Never really too packed, comfortable seats, good parking. Good popcorn! Well be back again!

Goid theatre. But seldom anyone there. Often wonder how thy stay in business.

Typical tired, old school theater mentality. Charge $5 for water, $8 for popcorn and subject you to over 30 minutes (8 before scheduled showtime and 22 after) of commercials and previews. There are far better options in Austin.

Still has that old school movie theater feel to it which is great. I usually go early and on Sunday so it’s never busy and I pre buy my tickets. Location is clean and the staff are nice. The parking lot is so huge!

The last reasonably priced movie theater, they still have all the fixings, PLUS beer! Truly a remnant of the way movie theaters once were, they dont over sell it and arent gentrified like so many theaters are today.

Came to a movie here and this was a really cool theatre that looked really pretty. The only problem was that they don’t have the competitive edges that many theaters now and days have such as the recliners. I also liked the fact that the theatre had a really classy look that was great for pictures!

Other theaters are providing recliners for the same prices. This theater seems to be stuck in the past and is due a renovation. If you like uncomfortable seats, this is the theater for you.The parking lot barely had 15 cars in the parking lot on a Friday night and the whole place was deserted.

I enjoy this theater very much. It is really never crowded and the staff is friendly. I would recommend this place for Families, Friends and just to enjoy a movie.

Havent been here in years. Still a nice theater as I remember. Seems small from the inside. But such a great place. Great staff. Standard seats arent that comfortable in my opinion, but still a great place.

You can reserve seats. Theater is clean and well maintained. Seats do not recline and there is plenty of parking.

Not quite as nice as some of the other theaters or maybe it was just the Auditorium I was in. I was hoping for reclaiming seats but it had just the standard seats. I was there seeing a mover that was about 3 weeks old so its possible that they do have them in other auditoriums but considering the price is the about the same as other theaters that have been renovated I had hoped to receive the same level of comfort.

Kinda tucked away and almost gives you an abandoned feel so great for scary movie nights. I did go Matine time. Clean and have an awesome Skittles machine if candy is your thing.

I love going to very early shows or weeknight shows, not crowded at all.

We went to see a movie here on Sat. night. the front had 5 people behind the counter all talking to each other and only one girl working. We bought our tickets and went into the theater (I wish I would have taken some pictures) about 10 to 15 chairs you wouldnt be able to sit in because they were covered in Popcorn and other items. Overall it was the dirtiest Theater that I have ever been in. It was even worse than the 1 dollar theaters they has back in the 90s. The staff should spend a little time cleaning and less time socializing

Great Place Nice Snacks

This is my favorite theater to go to in Austin. Nothing fancy, just your typical movie theater experience. The theater is clean, popcorn is fresh, and bathrooms are spotless. The lines are always short and we love that we can always catch a movie at the last minute and not have to worry about seats being sold out. Ive grown up in south Austin and hope that Metropolitan remains open for many years to come.

Great movie theater! I took my mom out for Mother’s Day and we had a great experience. The seating was very comfortable and the movie screen was good too.

Place was nice and movie was good but the popcorn tasted funny like burnt and the seats don’t recline so it’s very uncomfortable they for sure need a upgrade for the price . I hope they make a change soon or I’ll be going somewhere else.

It was awesome! Went to see Avengers Endgame half price on Tuesdays! We were the only two people in the theater.

Always get to choose your seats, and there is no over crowding, instead the theatre will show your favorite want to see movies in multiple auditoriums.

My only complaint is that the theater we were in didnt have reclining seats. I expected reclining seats for the price.

This remnant of the 90s multiplex is personal favorite in Austin. Enormous cinemas where you will never have to worry if theyll sell out (even opening day of major release). Good sound. Unhip but oh so cool.

Its my favorite movie theater. The staff are always nice. If you like me I dont like it busy so I can enjoy the movie with no noise.

Nice relaxing place if you want to see a movie without all the fuss from the dine-in experience. Still serves your popcorn, slushies, and candy. The afternoons were the best time to go during the school year because the theater would be pleasantly quiet.

Not bad! clean and well-kept, a bit short on legroom. Im not that tall so if youre tall youre probably going to want to find a place with more leg room.

I love coming to this theatre, its so spacious and well kept. The bathrooms are clean which is a plus.The staff is friendly and helpful when I have a question or concern.They have a nice selection of refreshments,Its just a little high priced for popcorn.The parking lot accommodates so many vehicles.My #1 pick for a movie date..

It was a good place to watch my movie but i feel everything was overpriced and people behind the counters worked slow, waited for ten minutes behind three people just for us all to get popcorn

My first time going was a Monday evening, so there is not many people. Was a nice facility everything was clean no funny smells like sometimes theaters get. Will definitely be going back in the future to watch more movies.

Its an older theater, buy your tickets inside at one end of the concession stand, employees are rude and slow. Decent number of theaters, seats are older dont move like newer/updated theaters, the do serve beer & wine.

Went to the movies during the day while everyone else was at work.The place was empty which was good for me. The staff was extremely friendly and understanding . I purchased a ticket for a specific movie and then I change my mind to another movie the staff did not mind and exchange my ticket with a smile.The popcorn was hot! Yum yum there was only three people in the movie theater the temperature was great.

I went to see toy story 4 with my sister and I bought three hot dogs and a large coke zero and we love the movie

This was my first time here & it was decent. It was clean & staff were nice. The only cons for me were that the seats didnt recline back & some of the previews were played at higher volume than others. This is likely due to the age of the movie theater more than anything. I will come back in the future though.

I enjoy this theater. Not usually crowded, but comfortable. Cheaper tix than some. Its a little hard to find. You turn on little texas off the I 35 frontage road, but if you miss it, you have to go around. Really better to come from Congress onto Little Texas.

The theatre is nice. Its clean but food is terrible. If you actually want good snacks and drinks during the movie, this might be the worst chain in Austin, but if you dont care about concessions, its pretty solid.

Is a lovely theather, but the chair are uncomfortable, normal chair with little space between them.

Little bit of an older theater, but its a great place if the newer theaters dont have any good seats. There is no preassigned seats, so arrive early for your movie if you want a good spot. I got a grilled chicken sandwich here and was surprised how good it was.

This is my regular theatre! The lines are always fast, the staff is friendly, and it’s always clean! Unrelated but the decor is also super cute.

The theater that we were in was dirty and had not been cleaned, I bought 2 hot dogs and the bread was stale and the hotdogs was over cooked. My popcorn was soggy it was not fresh. Plus the counter CS was discussing my app with another employee which to me it felt very uncalled for not sure what it was all about. I gave a star because it was opened.

While the movie was great, I got good poisoning from their popcorn. How do you contaminate popcorn!?Would of been a 1* but I do like the reclining seats...good for a movie, but if youre hungry or thirsty youre better off sneaking something in. The food poisoning isnt worth it.

Just got finished watching a film in this cinema, and I must say, it was a horrible experience. The sound was badly off during the film, so I informed the staff, saw someone come to see the issue, then he left and nothing was changed. The entire film felt ruined since the only audio that was loud was the dialog, everything else was muted so bad that you could hear a flea fart when no one was talking on screen, and that is during the action scenes.Normally I would not be so bothered by this, but this is the second time the audio was jacked up in this way, the time before this one was just in reverse, loud action, low dialog audio. Since I only went to this cinema twice during the past few months, and both my visits had these issues, the odds must not be forever in my favor.On a side note, this is the ONLY issue I have seen with this theater, everything else was great.

It might surprise you how long its been since I attended a movie at this location. I had no idea they served beer. I totally enjoyed a glass of cider. Great staff along with stadium seating.

This theatre is the ONLY South location you never turned away. All other theatres you usually get left with Row A right in front of the screen. Metropolitan you always never have a bad seat. Love this theatre!

The turn for this theatre is unmarked and you have to make a u turn on the freeway, better hope there is no traffic!

Nothing spectacular! Overkill with a the previews and ads before a movie--45 minutes! Ridiculous! Regal is trying too hard to make a buck; concession stands expensive as usual--and horrible! I was surprised by the empty, outdoor ticket booth...we had to go to the concession stand to buy tickets where a laptop was connected to the ticket printer...sign of the times...
