Fairly clean public area. The only thing that would have made it better is if there would have been toilet paper in the restrooms for the children. Its absolutely beautiful out here nice to allow children just to run around.

I loved it here, me and my dog swim a lot. She had to be on a leash but I completely understand!

Excellent place to go around. The downside is that the lake shores are dumped with all kinds of wastes even though the state park employees are doing a great job to keep the park clean.

Staging area for the Cherry Creek time trial. Parking area is pretty run down and shelters are ragged looking. Restrooms are okay and the views are great. It seems our state parks could use some money.
