If you just want to hoop around with people or yourself you can! Never crowded unlike other rec centers, and has many courts to play on! Definitely recommend coming here.

My boys have been coming here for about 2 weeks for boxing. They like the instructor the rec center is really clean. Its very busy but seems to be well organized. I know it has been remodeled within the past year I believe and I like its look its got a pool basketball courts exercise room plenty of space for several activities and a really nice locker room I recommend it.

Had my daughters first swim lesson at this location Saturday. Loved the lesson, loved the instructor. Love this center, amazing pools. Very clean and very nice staff. Way better experience at this center compared to the beck center, the swim classes were way way better. Have taken my daughter 2 more times this week for open swim and shes had a blast.

All the staff is great and treats people kind, except for the male with the tattoos and the Afro. He only treats a select few kids good but everyone else he treats with disrespect and speaks to them very rude. He yelled at a group of kids for no reason the other day.The only other complaint I have is that the Parking lot is always full, literally always. And a lot of times it’s very crowded with the lack of space for extra curricular activities.

The staff is always nice! The facility is always clean and useable. They dont deal with nonsense and stupidity making it a safe place to bring my kids.

This place is the best! I really love to come to this place! It’s the best! The pool are always clean, The pools are on the top of my list, The staff are really nice, the have snack in case u are hungry, the people are really nice, I really appreciate the lifeguards! Pretty tired of this location. Going to check out central rec center, it has to be better than this. I purchased a ten punch pass for my toddler and the woman(speaking all Spanish) (acting like I didnt know Spanish). Didnt know how to work the computer so just kept telling me no. Like yeah sure. Then the closing of the main pool for 2 people to take a class.. schedule classes a couple times a week not every day. Not impressed.

I do my pool therapy here. I love it. The walking pool and lazy river are very useful. They did a GREAT job on the remodel.

I went to Moorhead Recreation Center for a cooking class. My first time there and it was a positive experience. The building itself looks new and well kept. Loads of people were using the space which is a great sign to me. We walked in and were immediately greeted by staff who helped us sign in and figure out where to go. The kitchen, where we had the cooking class, was clean and well stocked. A dream kitchen! The staff during the class were friendly, knowledgeable, and super helpful. I barely had to wash one dish. I would definitely take another class here again.

The exercise equipment is easy to learn and clean. Has everything for a good workout. The pools are great. The showers and locker rooms are well thought out. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. Its always busy, but never crowded. Lots of kids and families which is a good sign. Very diverse and lots to do. Only thing it doesnt have is a hot tub. Heavy sigh. Im lucky to live only 6 blocks away.

A great place for a birthday party or to just go for a swim or to work out. The gym is very well equipped with lots of space and free weights. Parking is pretty terrible when its busy, but other than that its wonderful.

This rec center is awesome! The family changing room is so spacious and clean. The pool is perfect for my little son. What an amazing place!Edit: We still love this rec center, but if you go, make sure to lock your bags in the locker room or keep them with you. We were at family swim lessons and a homeless person went in the family changing room and stole our bag! Our fault for not locking it up, but very scary still!

Great place. We attended a Birthday party here. It was awesome. The pool was amazing and the basketball courts are big. Best of all it was clean. We will definitely be back.

Nice place. Clean and in good repair. Would not recommend childrens swim lessons however. Just took my little girl for her first lesson. 30 min lesson then we were told we had to get out of the pools for other classes. Felt rushed the whole way. Even another 30 mins of free swim before or after would have been better. Nice center, poor lesson planning.

I love this place. The locker rooms are great and family changing rooms are available and spacious and well designed. My kids and I used the pools. The water temp was perfect for us and I was able to swim laps while they played. I believe kids under seven have to be directly attended, but mine are older.

Family oriented; lots of kids here (has family change rooms). 3 pools --wading pool, lap pool, & Jacuzzi pool with lazy river (@100°), & 2-story slide. I love the lazy river

I love this rec center. The pools are on the top of my list. I dont know if I enjoyed the salt water or the water features more.the kiddy pool is awesome. The lifeguards are a little too strict but I get they are just doing their job. The slide is super fun. Kinda scary and really dark inside but I have never experienced something like it before. My daughter had a blast and it is only 4$ to get in. We were the only people in the entire swimming pool area. The locker rooms are very clean. Decent size gym and a massive basketball court! It is now my #1 spot for swimming.

Nothing like the old moorehead. Great welcoming atmosphere and love the gym. Will be getting a monthly pass for working out.

Wonderful resource in Aurora! Took grandchildren swimming here. We all loved the lazy river and WARM therapy pool! Will definitely be back!

Granddaughter stated that the kids she was playing with in the pool were nice.

All in all we love this rec center. Im giving 3 stars for two reasons.Issue #1: There is a time little splash pool for babies but you cant let your child under 7 years old be in the splash pool unless you are within arms reach of them. Can you say ridiculous? I can. We have had our children in swim lessons since they were infants. So my 5 year old cant play in a pool that goes up to her calves without me holding her hand? All I can guess is that they bought the cheapest insurance available and their crappy insurance company is who is forcing this policy.Issue #2: We have two daughters in swim lessons twice a week. Their lessons are spaced so that there is 30 minutes of downtime between each lesson. Even with the aforementioned policy, we were told that we have to buy an adult pass as well as a child pass to stand next to our daughter in the kiddie pool. So, while my 5 year old waits for her older sister to finish lessons (and to begin her own) I not only have to stand next to her in the kiddie pool but I have to pay $6 to wade my toes in the water. Its not like I can go swimming with the wristband they give me. Its a childs wristband that links you to your kid. Plus I have to be right next to her the whole time in the kiddie pool. Policy makers for this rec center (and maybe the others) didnt think this through.To finalize, we love this place but there needs to be some real world thought put into policy making here.

Depand the day and who running it for the day. Services is going down. Water aerboics classes are awful lately.

This place was wonderful I personally have to be close to a bathroom and was allowed to use there and my middle nephew use the swim pool it was not a bad price to pay either just three dollars and it was good for a lot of water time he had fun

Clean and modern gym / rec center. Courts are a bit small but theyre doing repairs the 1st-7th of April so maybe theyll fix it. Definitely a good spot for pickup hoops too but its legit physical hoops not that weak stuff so know what youre getting into tbh

We love to come here on summer is great and the staff are always on check definitely recommend Moorhead.

The only thing keeping this from being five stars is the lifeguards dont stay on top of rowdy kids will enough. The lazy River is often way overcrowded and not safe for kids under 10 or so.

Nicely remodled good place to take the Family for some excersice.

It has all new equipment and its never too full. Its a great gym and the price is very decent also.

Great rec center my kids love the pool and the basketball courts. The exercise equipment is great. They also have computers for people to use. The staff is very friendly and go above and beyond on customer service.

The times Ive been here it never disappoints. Awesome staff, great little gym area, basketball and awesome pool to relax. As well as for the partys some people are nice enough to give you food. 10/10 would go again.

What an amazing place for the family. Its a safe friendly environment and the staff is amazing. My son and his cousins go nearly everyday after school. If they need help computers are accessible and classmates are likely close by.Just an amazing experience that quickly prompted be to get a a membership.

Always clean. Friendly staff. The life guards always on duty and rotating. Sometimes the water can be rather colder then one would like but it doesnt stop us from having loads of fun.

Not as spread out as Beck Rec but still a nice place. More of a pool/court gym.

I love the new Rec Center in my area. Its always busy. Keeps the little ones from getting in trouble around the neighborhood.

This is a fun place where you can come and hang out, you can also come to the gym or the pool! Theirs also a computer lab, where you can study,play video games or do anything

Better then the old Moorhead! You are not in a 18x 20 room! On the new equipment you can watch the new still all bad news, you can take your mind off of what you doing. The pool need to be deeper for my PT back Fusion. Lazy river is warm 83-84 degrees.

The reno here was a great success! They have a huge basketball/volleyball area, a teaching kitchen, areas for exercise/yoga, and the swimming pools with separate kids & rec pool along with a small lazy river and a designated slide lane. Family, womens and mens showers, bathrooms, lockers are all nice.

Checked one of the guest rooms for a birthday party. Lady was very helpful.

I used to go during the day when theres only three handicaps and nobodys in them straight time to work out but night soon we have our nano meetings Northwest Aurora neighborhood organization there is a lot of handicapped people and they have no place to park I parked in the stripes one time and told him I better not be towed because you know the problem I have with your parking lot they said no youre fine and thats the last time I was there not fair only three

The rec center was remodled in 2017 and eversince then still has frindly staff,good gym equipment,a good basketball court.The price for an adult to come in is 3.50 but there discounts given to military servicemen .

This is a GREAT family fun and fitness center... ***Affordable*** The staff is amazing and they give family feeling... A HUGE Basketball court with an area for Volleyball, workout area (must be 13 years to workout), Cooking area with grills, party room, Wii Connect for kids, computers, and a big swimming area with a mini baby area and water slide... ***Must see location in Aurora***

If you have ever been to the old Moorhead Recreation Center you will be pleasantly surprised when you see the remodel!! They completely redid the entire Center adding a huge indoor pool with an amazing baby pool and a giant water slide. That along with much more that I did not get to see/use like a weight room (you actually see that right when you walk in and its very nice!!) They have a basketball court a kitchen and Im not sure what else...We took our daycare group of 5 toddlers and they helped get us in quickly so we didnt have to wait long and the staff was very friendly! They put an extra lifeguard on the baby pool just to have extra eyes on them...This was my childhood hangout 20+ years ago and it was definitely not the best rec center lol but I have to say now it actually might be one of the best! We will be going back with both the daycare and even as a gym and lap pool for my husband and I!!
