My daughter (4 years old) has been a late bloomer from the beginning. Her motor skills have always lagged a bit and her confidence in herself has always been a bit low despite how hard we’ve tried to build her up. It wasn’t until I signed her up for dance at Dance Unlimited when she was 3 did I see a major change in her. From her physical skills (jumping, hopping, moving around) to her confidence in socializing, independence, and overall confidence in herself. She feels safe and happy when she’s at dance, it’s what she looks forward to all week. The ladies who teach and work there are so friendly, kind, and really welcoming. They go above and beyond to make sure the girls are having a good time and are comfortable and safe. I can’t say enough about this studio, it has been the best thing I’ve done for my daughter!

My best childhood memories are from the DU studio & recitals! The costumes, routines, and talented teachers made everything fun and the other dancers were like a second family. Couldnt recommend them enough!!

This is the Best Dance School around! The staff are amazing. It doesn’t matter if it’s your first year or your 12th year they treat you like family. They are so protective of your kids really taking the time to make sure they check in with all of them. It’s not about numbers or money is about making sure their students have the best experience they can and that they are helping you raise well rounded children. It takes a village to raise a child mine just happen to be wearing tutus!

This studio deserves more than 5 stars, just an all around wonderful experience. My child has blossomed being apart of this community and its all thanks to these beautiful people. Ms Julie is the most welcoming warmhearted person, treating every dancer like family. The instructors are all apart of the community and are so very dedicated to teaching, they dont get paid enough.The all inclusive tuition is beyond reasonable for everything you get. All the extras and perks throughout the year are such a wonderful touch. Ms Laura truly knows what she is doing with this studio and it is very clear why they are so highly ranked. Great job ladies!

Our family has been extremely impressed by Dance Unlimited! The staff are very professional and courteous. They truly go above and beyond to ensure a top quality dance experience for everyone. Our oldest daughter is in the Twirling Twos class and she loves it! Miss Megan is excellent with the children and leads the class with developmentally appropriate expectations for the ages, which is so important to us! Positive forms of instruction and guidance are always utilized! We are also so thrilled with the excellent email communication and responsiveness. We had observed at another dance studio before finding Dance Unlimited and there was just no competition. Dance Unlimited is the best! We look forward to many years of dance!

The Dance Unlimited staff is very welcoming, and hardworking. All of the teachers are incredibly talented, each class going above and beyond with choreography appropriate to the age and level of the dancer. The kids I have met at Dance U have become some of my best friends for life. I am so grateful to be apart of such an amazing studio!!

When we moved back to Maine from Rhode Island we knew we wanted to find a dance studio for our energetic and musical 2.5 year old to get some energy out and to nurture her natural love of dance, but we had no idea we were also looking for a dance family. After trying 2 studios in the area we found Dance Unlimited and loved it! The teachers and owner clearly love what they do, nurturing every student right where they are developmentally. Here we are 9 years later and I cannot imagine a better dance family for my daughter or my family! We love it here...Now, she is dancing in the Dance Unlimited Performance Company, soaking up every opportunity and experience offered to her! She has become graceful even in times of awkward tween development, she has grown confident and strong. She has been given the opportunity to be a role model for others in ways she would never have been afforded without people who were kind, loving and patient with her.This past summer she participated in several dance camps as well as a convention in NH. Through these experiences she has learned from her teachers, teachers from around the country and from other dancers. Her experiences at DU summer Dance allowed her to keep dancing and have fun doing what she loves! The gratitude we feel for the family environment Laura has offered her at DU is immeasurable.

Dance Unlimited has been voted Best Dance Studio since opening (16 years running). Students learn several styles of dance from caring professional staff while offering high quality classes at affordable prices. I love the fact that students not only learn, but also gives back to the community in multiple ways. The staff are very caring and friendly. An amazing place to dance, an amazing place to grow.

Dance Unlimited is AMAZING. With a state of the art building and floors, its easier on the feet, and less injuries occur. Ms.Laura is extremely talented, and a lot of fun. Ive danced with Dance Unlimited for many years, and love every minute of it. The staff is very friendly and approachable. I would HIGHLY recommend Dance Unlimited, to beginners all the way through Experienced! Check them out for yourselves!

Truly an amazing place to enroll a child. They offer so many types of classes for all ages. Not only does a child learn to dance, but each child learns so much more from the attentive caring staff. The director is very involved with the students and is always popping into classes to dance / watch and commend the kids for their achievements both inside and outside the studio. The front desk is always on top of whats going on and willing to answer any questions you might have. The costumes are age appropriate along with any music they might be dancing too. So many opportunities for the kids outside the studio, Christmas tree lighting, dancing at the Maine veterans home, kids day in capital park or the 4th of July parade and many more. It truly is a family.

I started here when I was a child, and to this day I still dance there! Ive made bonds with the teachers, students, and even parents of my friends that I know I will cherish for the rest of my life. Its way more than just a dance studio, Dance Unlimited teaches life lessons and provides friendships that last forever. Ive never felt more at home, and the environment is one I wouldnt replace for the world. I LOVE Dance Unlimited!!

This is my daughters fourth year dancing at Dance-U. It is an amazing studio and is so family oriented. They have an extremely talented teaching staff. I love the fact that my daughter is so passionate about dancing and has set so many goals for herself in life based upon her experiences at Dance-U. There are so many positive things to say about how the studio is run and operated. Ms. Laura and her staff continue to bring all of the dancers to the next level and bring out hidden talents the children never even knew that they had. I love seeing how my daughters self esteem is so high and how much confidence she has in her dancing. We did not just join a Dance Studio, but we have created an extended family by belonging to Dance U. I love the fact that my daughter spends multiple hours there a week in an environment that is like a second home to her.

This is my daughters 13th year dancing at Dance Unlimited. I cant imagine taking her anywhere else. The teaching staff is above and beyond fabulous, they take care of each child and their individual needs. The day to day operations are run extremely organized and efficiently. The options for students are endless, classes for the students that want to be there for recreational classes or the students that want more.Not only has the studio been a place for my daughter to go and enjoy her love of dance but it has also turned into a second family.Knowing the dedication of Laura and the staff at Dance U means a lot.

This is my daughters 11th year with Dance Unlimited, and neither her nor I could imagine her dancing any where else. Not only do they provide a wide variety of dance classes from ballet to break dancing, they also provide different levels of dance from preschool through adult designed to challenge but still make learning fun. The teachers and staff are professional, and highly trained. This not just a dance school but it is a dance family that I am very proud to say that we are part of.
