My son had so much fun running around the playground and crunching in the leaves. Its a smallish play area but its nicely laid out and maintained. There is a nice wide paved walking path and a fair amount of parking.I didnt check out the dog park, but the number of people there with dogs was promising.Do keep in mind that right now the bathrooms are locked (possibly covid related, there were no signs so Im not sure). There is only a port a potty should nature call.
Great walk or bike ride with kiddos that are under 10. Great family walk tho too. Ok playground and they also have a disc golf course. Next to the river which is nice too
Only reviewing dog park portion - off leash dog park was plain and unused. There was drinking water, some shade, a metal-mesh table. Small off leash areas for shy dogs & non-shy dogs, you could see the whole area from anywhere in the off leash. (We found the off leash area from parking lot, by walking towards the river, then looking up and down the paved walking trail.) While not a bad off leash area, it doesnt offer enough to come back.
Beautiful park with tons of paved paths and a very nice playground. Perfect for getting in a good walk if youre pushing a stroller.
Really like this place fir a nice walk. The river ia right there; so Im presuming when the Salmon are running you can fish there.
Great place to go for a walk with the dog, including an off leash dog area. The trail follows near the White river and connects with nearby trails.
Its a very nice place. Swings and a little playground for the kids. Walking paths for the adults and a dog park. Really Nice.
Really nice park. Has a nice play area for kids, walking paths, and easy access to the river for getting your feet wet. My kids ages 1 through 10 really like this park.
This is a great park. Theres access to the river, a dog park and lots of space to walk around and enjoy the scenery. Will definitely come back if Im in the area.
Little bit of garbage in parking lot. Not a bad place. Many bull frog in the spring time and pretty little fountain in the middle. Didnt take the trail under the trees i was scared :)
Great place to go for a walk with the dog, including an off leash dog area.
We find it a nice little Park close to home and by the river who are the dogs love their off-leash Park
Love this place. Very good to walk.
Great off leash dog park! There are two separate fenced off areas for the dogs to play in, a water spigot with bowls and poo bags/trash cans.
Nothing special. Just a nice park & dog run.
Could be more maintained and manicured. Water isnt the cleanest but you wont start growing additional appendages.
Great walking/jogging or bicycle area. Dog park and a kids play area.
Trails are nice and scenic especially along the river. Off-leash dog park is a real nice bonus within this already nice park.
Lots of trails, smooth riding for bikes. Would recommend for a family or solo! Also, if your walking, take lots of water!~
Lots of space! Nice trail!
Super nice path. Follows the river with some access during low flows. Good spot for picking blackberries when they ripen in summer! Has a nice dog park inside too.
I really like this park. It is quiet and never that busy. Mainly people walking the trail. A homeless camp across the river but they dont bother you. My only concern is seeing cars backing up to the shelter when there is no way to back to it. You have to hop a curb and drive on a trail people use to walk to the bathroom. It makes me worry about the safety of my children.
I love this trail because it has lots of trees, and next to the water.
This is a great park! As you see on my pics, its long and peaceful, well cared for with the white river cruising by, attention anglers! There is kiddy playsets, picnic tables, even a leash-free dog park area, kept up nice and we all try to keep it so. Nice clean bathrooms, I see friendly people all the time, dogs too!, There is a paved path goes from A st. See to game farm Park Rd, and its just nice and peaceful. Hope to see you there
Had a nice little picnic by the river
This place is big and my grandkids love it as well
The park is nice and little. The reason I only have it a three star is due to the garbage that is littered around.
Time for a bike ride here. Felt safe alone and the trail was nice a long the river.
The people that go to the park seem so so. I took my dog to the dog park and there were two fenced areas of which had no designation it seemed. A family had pit bulls and didn’t care to handle them and so I stayed in the second fence. The park is strictly a non unleashed park and when said family left, the woman just let those pits out. Another passer by with their dogs was immediately confronted about a 100m away with the family not really caring. I won’t go back to this park.
Nice park. Has a area for your dogs and a decently long trail. Good views as you walk.
My first time there with a nephew, grandson, wife, and myself. Was kinda rainy so we didnt get to stay long
Nice little park with access to the river, bring the bikes or even the ponies! Nice dirt trail and hitching posts for equine. There are permeant bathrooms, however when they are closed there is also a porta potty.
Really enjoyed this park. The dog park was really really muddy which made my dog so happy!! So sad that 4 male broke a sapling just because. Stopped them from breaking the other 2 but their stated reason for breaking the trees was that they were a-holes. Will go back again.
The playground was abandon, kind of sad. But its another beautiful park in this beautiful state Im never leaving.
Wonderful park to walk your dog and get some exercise. The floodwaters along the river were no joke!
Roegner park is a nice park with public bathrooms, ball fields, a playground and a dog park. A running/biking trail follows the river. In previous years the dog park didnt have a tap for water, but one was recently installed so through most of the year (except winter) thirsty dogs can hydrate!Parking is free.Edit: since I made my complaint about the park not having water, they have since started to install a proper water spout to fill bowls for dogs.
Pros - Nice park along the White River. And a fully enclosed dog park, which i rarely see in use, and there are a few river access points that are really nice.Cons - there is some sort of seweage treatment going on at the paak, and near that area it smells horrible!
Very nice park, lots of walking space and right next to White River. Well maintained and very peaceful. Great place to have a quick barbecue on any of the barbecues here or play at the playground or dog park.
This park has a fun play area and swings for kids, lots of open space for frisbee and such, covered picnic space, and an incredible walking/running/ biking trail. The parking is limited, but there are other parking options if youre willing to walk.
Great place to go for walks and play in the water. Has unique areas, playgrounds and a well maintained, fenced dog park with two areas. I absolutely love coming here with my family. There are also play fields and public bathrooms.
The playground is much improved over the old version which was flooded part of the year
Ran here for a 5k. Well maintained, clean facilities, great parking. Whats better than running next to a nice river in the morning
This is one of the best dog parks that Ive been too. The city of auburn has done a good job with keeping this place safe for dogs.
I enjoyed the dog park - even though it was nothing fancy (just two enclosed patches of grass) it was a good size to not lose your dog and the other dogs were friendly! I live in the Auburn area and have been traveling to Federal Way to take my dogs to French Lake, but I will now be coming here more often!
My dog loves the dog park and river. We love there is a water spout because hes half old English bulldog and half boxer. They are called Valley Bulldogs he gets tired fast and thirst because hes solid and muscular and hisface is like a bulldog he cant breath as easy as other dogs.
Lots of ppl with dogs. Good spot for enrichment and walking.
Park is great! Local dog owners are not. Poop EVERYWHERE! Grass, sidewalks, play area.
All dry, smoky, even burnt trees, and the water murky
Roegner dog park is large in size, fenced in, and has a separate area for smaller dogs. There is a single picnic table in each area that can seat 8 people (quite cramped though).Rated three stars because people often dont pick up their dogs poop and there is no onsite water.
Good place to take the family and go for a walk last i checked. Dog park is cool for fur babies
Awesome little off leash area here that we take our dog to all the time,
Yes Im the one game over there inThe park. I tryin do charge my phone. So that I can reach you two in the park, so Im sorry because I came byBut you didnt know who I am and my name.... I hope you will stop by tomorrow or whenever you want. Thank you and God bless you and drive safe, Good night!!
Great park to go for a walk.
Beautiful park right by the river
Awesome place to go for walk or bike ride.walk the dogs
A beautiful fairly level paved walk by the riverside. Bathroom facilities and Picnic cover by the parking lot. I think the water fountain was not functioning, though.
Great little place. Looks like some good running walking trails. I did see some people milling around in the bushes. But its Auburn. And today is 4/20.
Love the dog park it has been clean every time we have been there. My nephews love playing on the toys and having a lot of grass to run on.
Excellent dog park. I like bird watching, too.
Love the trail.and water.
I love to walk around there.
Great place to walk and reflect
Great off leash park. We go all the time
Great park with great access to the water. Not a fan of the trash and vagrants and sketchy empty camp sites. Its not so bad that I wont go again though. Felt like if I let my dog wander off the trail she might step on a needle haha. The dog park is very big but no water for pooches so bring your own.
Great dog parks. Would be terrific if they had water available besides just the rest rooms.
Nice spot for a walk or short bike ride.Trail is pretty bumpy though.
There are 2 off leash sections that share a joint opening. This is a great place to take my dog to meet other dogs. It was very helpful to put my dog in the smaller section and have her meet the other dogs next to the fence one at a time.
We were there Saturday August 3 2019. My church people and I had a good time in the water.
Great for an evening stroll next to white River.
Nice park with a dog park for large and small dogs.
Great place!! The walking paths are very nice and the whole area is very well taken care of and very clean!! They have very new playgrounds. Also along walking paths is the river and some Sandy and/or Rockey beaches. Also nice private family picnicking tables with some even having barbaque areas. There is even 2 separate very large dog runs with picnic tables and Benches. So bring the kids, dogs, frisbees and hamburger patties and have a day out in a beautiful green landscape and bring some cards or a game for after dinner.Everyone is sure to find something to do and everyone will sure want to come back again soon!! Its a great place to spend the day by your self to read a book or bring the whole family for a baseball game! Your all sure to have a good time!!There are restrooms and also covered area with tables and barbaques to cook on that can also be reserved in advance for parties for a fee. So stop by and see what an amazing clean well taken care of fun park this is real soon, and dont miss out on a summer of fun, out of the house!!Where most everyone will leave with a smile on their face
Pretty awesome park! I went on the walking path and loved it but only got thru half of it! Im excited to check out the other half!!! Great walk!
Visited Mill pond to watch the kids fish. Nice park; Roegner is good sized with off leash areas for both kids and dogs. Rest rooms and frisbee golf.
One of the best dog parks I’ve visited. Plenty of room for the dogs to run and shade trees scattered about. Also has a great restroom nearby. The river is beautiful.
Super nice little park next to the river with off leash area for dogs and very clean rest rooms..
I love coming here to walk along the river with my family.
I love this park and walking/running trail. There is a place for everybody. There is an enclosed very large dog area, a beautiful trail along the river, restrooms, a playground and picnic tables and benches dotted all along the trail as well as a couple baseball fields and a disc golf. We like to walk our dogs on this trail and jog on the trail. Its so beautiful in all the seasons.
Nice place to go jogging along the river. You can do a 4 mile loop from the parking lot
Nice surroundings with river rushing waters and a nice path to walk or run on. Very relaxing atmosphere.
Great park. We regularly do dog training there.
Nice little park with access to the river and a nice long walking trail. Plus a dog park!
Such a great place. My niece found this a few years back and utilizes it for family parties
Great place for the kids to play. Next to the river, we enjoy the sound of the running water. To the right is a small off leash dog park, and not always do people pick up after thier dogs, But better than nothing. Close to home.
Great park however people like to drive off the parking lot and onto the side walk and drive down the path
Nice walk along river for me an my pup
The park is okay. Would be better if the one and only restroom (hunybucket) was maintained. There was blood sprayed all over the inside from what I can only guess is a drug user. Filthy and Simone defi eyes and spread it everywhere. This was like this a week ago when I went to the park
I love taking walks there with my dog.
Just a few years ago it was much better. The City of Auburn never replaced the wiring on the streetlights so it is dark along the paths. Homeless live under the A St. And M St Bridges. The 2 water fountains get turned off for most of the year. When running through the disc golf course be prepared for cigarette and marijuana smoke.
This is a dog park as well! The lady with two unleashed pit bulls argued when I told her to take a control of her dogs. She kept saying that her dogs dont bite, but those pit bulls kept coming back to bark and growl at us as we tried get in our car in parking lot from the restrooms. I used to have three hunting dogs, and I am not usually afraid of dogs. However her pit bulls are the ones that should never be unleashed. The lady could not take a control with them, and they came back at us 4-5 times threatening my 3 year old daughter and my 70 year old mother with a walking cane. Until today, my daughter really enjoyed playing at the play ground here. Now I learned why some people in my neighborhood say that they stick with the parks on the hill. I still like this park, and I am seriously considering to bring a gun when I go to this place. According to other reviews, it seems like the lady and her pit bulls visit this park often.
Nice and quiet
Wonderful, large park with covered picnic benches, barbeques, a playground for young kids, a baseball field and two off-leash dog parks (one for large dogs, and a separate one for small dogs). It has a wide, paved walkway and a gravel path separated by grass, both along the White River. There are several short beaches, some with river rocks, some just dirt. The partly shaded paved path continues on to the Game Farm Wilderness Park, which is great for joggers and dog walkers!
This is not a real park
