Nine degrees Fahrenheit outside and warm as toast inside. Simple and yet sophisticated, this art gallery connects well with the Auburn Theater across the street. Maybe the only place making a stand for First Friday this February, a piano man has played ragtime by heart for hours. Artists are making paper hearts to be sent directly to the assisted living close by, just the shot of an arrow away. Add to the evening highlights the warmth of Sue Waby, our host tonight, who shapes hearts from whatever material she has to hand, glass or felt or paint.

The Finger Lakes Arts Council in Auburn, New York is a wonderful addition to the community. Their downtown location is just full of wonderful artwork . They are also offering a large variety classes and workshops . There is something for everyone!I encourage everyone to take part and stop in and see the wonderful pieces that are available.
