AC Comedy club was very easy to find. Easy parking (along street). The actual place was very intimate. Great waitress service, and you are definitely up close and personal! A part of the show! Funny stuff! Will be back.
I came down last minute to AC with a friend on Saturday and were following the sound of live music while walking off dinner at the mall across from Ceasars on the boardwalk. The bands were part of a St. Patricks day early celebration, there were about four of them in four separate areas and were all really good! The comedy club was a great find, there was a show that started at 8:30 which was perfect since we just went to dinner and werent ready to hit the tables yet. I love comedy but it takes a lot to make me laugh and I have to say that this show was excellent! The cover was $20 to get in, a bargain for the quality of the the show and talent performing. They moved it along nicely with a host who did his thing but didnt try to steal the show, solid and professional comedians who kept it moving and a high energy headliner who was nonstop hilarious. The whole thing lasted a little under an hour and a half which was perfect for the vibe. The crowd was into it, I would guess there were about 125 people all together, and theres a regular bar in the room so you can get drinks or food when you want without servers constantly walking by which we preferred. After the show I was talking to Matt, who organizes the shows and runs the room. Its a relatively new spot (open less than a year) and he was telling us how its caught on quickly because theres a need for quality and reasonably priced entertainment in that area. I totally agree! Next time I go to AC I would definitely go back. He even said theres a second show at 10:00 too. Great time!!!!
Paul Virzi was awesome!
My boyfriend and I went to a show last weekend! It was very funny and entertaining. It is in a very convenient location too if you are staying at the Clarige or Ballys. Highly recommend going to see one of their shows!
Had a great time. Comics were hysterical and the venue was perfect...we were up close and a part of the show. Definitely going back next time Im in town.
We had an awesome time at the Atlantic City Comedy Club! The hotel was quaint. The comics were very funny and we never stopped laughing! This is a must do when in Atlantic City. We are looking forward to returning again.
Please make sure you get your tickets off Groupon. I give the comedy show a two star and the venue a no stars. The drinks are over priced. The venue is very old and smells like mold. The parking was 17 dollars. However BEWARE I put a 20 dollar bill and never received my change. When I called the number listed on the parking receipt I was told the machine only takes exact change. What a rip-off.
We had such a great time at the Atlantic City Comedy Club! We got our tickets last minute and the staff gave us awesome seats! The MC was entertaining as well as both acts. Quaint space but I personally prefer that because the comedians tend to be more “raw” which makes it more fun! Thank you to the ACC for a fun time!
I took my partner, James here for his birthday on September 21st. We saw comedian Chris Cotton- at 9:00pm- and he was so funny!! Actually the entire line up was funny!I think we laughed so hard at each of Chris’ jokes! And at the end of the show he was kind enough to take a picture with us!This is our second time attending the Atlantic City Comedy Shows and we look forward to coming back again soon since comedy shows is something we enjoy attending!!Sharon & James
The website and hotel has different times set up without them knowing. They took care of us so well because we showed up like 2 hours early because thats what our tickets said. They were awesome about the situation and the show was beyond funny!
A few weeks ago we went to the comedy show, and had a great time laughing in the Anthem Club where AC Jokes Comedy Club performance takes place. Every comedy act was terrific, so much fun, a great time at AC Jokes. Go and enjoy yourself it feels so good to laugh, and leave the PC at home.
I took my wife here for her 50th Birthday. We had a group of ten people. The seating was great and the comedians were hilarious. It was a wonderful way to spend the evening on this special occasion. The staff were very friendly and professional as well. Looking forward to going back.
Went to show last night. Headliner performed shy of his 40 minutes. Total of 1 hour 15 minutes of comedy for $50, these were the least expensive tickets. Certainly don’t buy the VIP tickets, won’t see any difference for your money. Required minimum to spend on drinks, 2 drink minimum per person. If not drinking alcohol have to purchase the drink package. $15 for 2 glasses of tonic water and popcorn.I’ve seen better comedians in smaller cities for better value. Over priced for a mediocre show.
So much fun! We had a great time here last weekend with a group of friends. Will definitely be back next time I’m in Atlantic City.
We had a really hard time finding this ‘comedy club’. Every employee we asked did not know where it was and there was no signage. Turns out the comedy club is in a conference room on the 3rd floor. The comics were decent, it wasn’t full and it was a tough crowd but they powered through.
Polite and welcoming staff. Great enviroment, drinks and good laughs. Looking forward to going again.
Me and my wife a been here a few times we have really enjoyed ourselves the comedians were very body but after a few times it was the same jokes
My fiance took me to this club for my birthday this past Saturday.Positives:There is no drink minimum which is good.Gated at the Trump just off Boardwalk which is convenient.Negatives:Comedy acts were not very good. In fact the headliner for the April 27th show was not the same headliner that my fiance paid for. Also the Acoustics in that place need to be a little bit better. Especially around the VIP section. This setup is kind of weird. Just a bunch of seeds put out in front of a bar. The place has potential, but they really need better acts
This place was great Comics very funny nice venue.
Really great time and a real club feel unlike others in AC.
The comedians are always the best! We love the new venue at the Claridge! Thanks for always giving us a great time.
Incredible comedy club at an incredible venue! The comedians they book are diverse and hilarious. The ambiance is off the charts and there’s even a tunnel that looks like a mother’s womb on acid. You will not be disappointed! And after the 9:00 show an amazing DJ comes out and you can dance your ass off. Do not miss this show!!
Went on Saturday. Great show! Huge fan of Shuli, he was hilarious! Wishing you lots of luck in your new space! Thanks AC Comedy Club.
Love this place!! There is not a bad seat in the house!
Best thing we did in AC! All comics were great. Can’t wait to go back
I LOVE going to comedy clubs. I had recently been to the New York Comedy Club in Manhattan which was far and away one of the best comedy venues I had ever been too. And I was in Atlantic City recently with no intention of going to see a comedy show. I was passing by this new development right behind Caesars and noticed there was a new venue highlighting live comedy. Because of how much fun I had recently in Manhattan, I figured I would check this new venue out and see what the talent is like in AC. WOW, first off the talent was great! I couldnt believe how many funny local comics there are, and was even more surprised as to how many New York acts were performing as well! The lineup was hilarious, the staff is super friendly and relaxed. A lot of venues will be intense and try to get you in and out, here its super laid back and just a fun place to hang out and have some good laughs. The only thing is it can be a tad confusing because its called the Atlantic City Comedy Club, but its in a venue called 1921. Its just something to be aware of...It seems like they are new and slowing building out the space. But I do see that in a lot of places where there are rooms as part of a larger venue, and thats how this is. But the area is great and it is good to see that there are now options for live comedy in that area.
Alot of fun! Show was hysterical!! Host was also very entertaining! Would highly recommend!!
Great venue - comfortable & a great night out. Great entertainers - really talented & not too blue.
Really fun comedy club experience. They have great shows and regularly present comedians from New York and Los Angeles on their lineup. Really great time. Would definitely go back and recommend to anyone looking for a fun night out in AC!
A few kinks to work out as they get settled in the new venue, but the quality of the comics was great (they came down from NYC) and my husband and I had a really fun night there.
So awesome to have a real comedy club in AC! Typically we would have to wait for special events at a theatre, but to now have a consistent venue that supplies live comedy every single week is such a treat! Very cool venue, and every time Ive been theyve been adding new things to it! For a new club its exciting to see what it will be like in a year from now! Its also in an awesome location! Right behind the Caesars in a new revamped area with lots of cool restaurants and fun stuff to do! Atlantic City Comedy Club is a must!
Best place for comedy!! People you have never heard of will having you in tears from laughing so hard!!
My family and I vacationed in Philly and New York, and we did everything from seeing live music to comedy! We did a few comedy clubs, and one of them was the Atlantic City comedy club and it was awesome!! Its so cool to be able to do something so fun and in a mature environment for someone like me who is 17 years old! We also did a club in New York and it was hilarious, and the Atlantic City Comedy Club held up to the club in New York. Really clean venue and super new. I love live comedy now!! Such a cool and fun thing to do!!! Fun comics, everyone was super nice, and we had a blast!!
The new ATLANTIC CITY COMEDY CLUB at KISS KISS NIGHTCLUB at THE TROP is literally always an amazing show with real talent from Comedy Central, MTV, etc. No locals and no beginners. Even the host was from TV and amazing... Plus, its at a super impressive venue. It looks and feels like a comedy rock concert! Drinks prices are actually really good, plus no drink minimum helps too. Service is really great and the girls who checked us in us at the front were so friendly.... You simply cant have a better or more authentic comedy experience anywhere else in AC!
Went this this past saturday may 18th 2019.A friend and I went there to celebrate my birthday.Positives: the comics were mostly funny. The host was funny and the headliner was funny. the second comic. ehh ok. over all I was satisfield with the performaces and would have be willing to go back. No 2 drink minimum wich was great. Good atmosphere.Negatives. Service service service. The Hostess insisted on seating us up front. We did not want to sit in the front row. The place was not even have way full. She said if we wanted to sit at the tables in the back of the cozy room we had to pay an addition 20 bucks cash. But we wouldnt have to get our own drinks. the tables came with a server. we paid the 20. 10 bucks per person so we wouldnt have to sit up front. we seen our server twice. welhen she tool our drink order and at the end of the show. What piss me off was Other people came in and didnt pay any extra to sit at a table. one group we knew and they bought there tickets via groupon same as us and didnt pay any extra for a table. further more at least one couple came in the back/side entrance toward the end of the show and paid zero. so I guess we paid for them. the hostess was very stern about us sitting up front in a maybe 30% full room. That was wrong. again the comics did their jobs but the service was poor. I understand that this place is fairly new and they need to make it look full but not at my expense and I shouldnt have to pay a surcharge for seating. Its not like i was in vip. Id rather pay a two drink minimum. I really hope management sees this and make it right for me and other guest going forward.
Was there last night and had to painfully sit through the 2 worse comedians I have ever witnessed in my entire life.
This place is awesome!! It has a great mix of local comics and national headliners too! Plus its the only club in AC that has comedy every single week and she is super reasonable with prices. Tickets are only $19-$25 depending on what show you go too. For a new club they are really doing some great things are growing really fast! Ive been 3 times now and every time its gotten better. Plus the staff has a very family oriented feel, they arent pushy, and it has a really fun and casual environment which is really suited for comedy! Also I hear Gilbert Godfried is coming there this summer! Cant wait!!
If your looking for a great night of laughs like the old days of the comedy stop, this is not the place for you! They guys just werent funny. One comedian wanted to kick out a heckler,. That was best of show,. Audience making fun. Seriously, if this is your living, work on funny material. The venue, it was freezing, they dont heat that part of the building. You have to get your own drinks at the bar. Its just a bunch of seats with some extra barstools to sit your drinks on. Very low end. Dont waste your money.
Comedians were good. No food service
Absolutely great show! Will be back soon
You will see amazing shows here. The vibe is great. The shows are a great mix of well known national headliners and some of the best up and coming acts around. You get the feeling that this is a place that people will look back on in a few years from now and say that it is where a lot of the biggest names in comedy got their start. The food is great too.
This is a great show. NYC comics in the heart of Atlantic City. Beautiful stage and room turns into a night club too, so you can dance after the show!
Really awkward set up for a comedy show. Even the comedian made mention of it. The Comedy Stop was 100 times better and its a shame the place was redone as a dance club.
Ive been here twice now and both experiences have been exceptional. Comics are great. Staff is professional and friendly. This is a destination within a destination.
The sound system is good but they havent turned up so loud you almost have to put your finger in your ear. And the last comedian was the only one worth seeing. Definitely better places to go
I live in Ct, and was in AC for a conference. I stumbled upon this place by doing a search online and it turned out it was right next to where I was staying at the Caesars Hotel. I decided to buy tix online and it was AWESOME! The venue is brand spanking new and the set up was perfect for comedy. I now go to comedy clubs as much as I can.. great show and venue!!
Hilarious group of comedians..laughed till I cried. Small venue, but it just made it more personal. Great nite out! Check it out.
It is hard to find really great places that support comedy outside of major cities like New York or LA. The Atlantic City Comedy Club offers a a real comedy club experience amidst all of the casinos, large theaters, and more over the top attractions. Sandwiched between Philly and New York, Atlantic City is a great destination for live entertainment and this new venue offers such a great assortment of local and major talent from the east coast and nationally. You couldnt really find a real comedy club in AC until now. The website is super easy to navigate and always best to get tickets directly from there. They are cheaper online and it automatically reserves you your table. Judging from the website, they are adding more and more shows. So if you are looking for a show to do before going out or just looking to get some laughs in after dinner, this venue is able to deliver! 5 STARS ALL THE WAY!
We went for our anniversary weekend. This place was hilarious! it was personal, small, and a great deal. We would go back many times again and will recommend it to many others!
Great time. Laughed the entire time. A+++++++++
Great comedians! No 2 drink minimum! Comfy booth seats.
Great little gem inside the Playground Pier. Definitely different from the big, expensive shows at the casinos, you get a bunch of more local and Philly/NYC comedians for pretty cheap. No drink minimum is great, too! Downside is no table service but not a bad trade-off for a getting a fun night on the cheap.
The venue is really cool and the shows are always hilarious. It feels like youre at an award show. I like how they have general seating but you can also get a VIP booth.
I would give no stars, but thats not an option. I bought tickets for a simple spontaneous date night with my boyfriend. They said I was going to get an email confirmation, I never received that. So I called continuously since they opened at 5, no answer. I left a voicemail, didnt receive a call back. I even tried calling the playground to see if they could give me a number. After that, still kept calling to ask about why I never received any tickets, still nothing. Now Im out money because they dont give refunds and decided to never answer the phone.
Was stumbling around the mall bored with my girl. AC has gotten so boring...Not this place! They talked us into buying two $25 tickets for an 8pm show...I was skeptical...Never heard of any of the comics...And it turned out to be the most fun Ive had in AC in a long time. The comics were hilarious. Huge crowd. No drink minimums or hidden costs. Rally great time. Would highly recommend.
Had a great time! The headliner Paul Virzi was a riot!! Bartenders were wonderful - mine suggested this awesome combination (I WISH I could remember what it was) I never tried before that I loved!
Absolutely horrible!! 3 comedians n didnt laugh once! All three were horrible
This was ridiculous. You pay $29 to get in and then you have to pay $10 a person to sit at a table or you have to sit in another area like an outcast . What a rip off!!!
Went to see comedy show on Thursday at kiss kiss club. Worse show I have ever seen. The first 2 comedians were horrible. They didn’t even try to be funny. Nor were they prepared. It was like they pulled them out of the audience. Was definitely not worth the price.
Great to have a new spot for comedy in AC! Its a really cool space and caught some really funny up and coming acts. A great night out with my special lady.
An excellent place to go to if youre a comedy fan. The set up is very nice, location is great, and the club constantly has talented acts. The waiting staff is also incredibly friendly.
Just wasted 1.5 hours of my life that I can’t ever get back at this comedy club. Horrible acoustics plus the 4 people performing had no acts at all. Not 1 laugh. Zero. If I wasn’t sitting so far from the door I would have walked out half way through the show to escape. The performers were not vulgar or politically incorrect, just completely not funny. This club has no relation apparently to the old comedy club in the Trop. That place actually booked people with talent. Better off watching a Netflix comedy special than spending any money at this place.
Great laughs...bar stools to set drinks on... would have been more comfortable with tables and better comfort chairs all round ...comidians personable and host was great!
Had an AMAZING time!! The Atlantic City Comedy Club is located inside the Tropicana at the night club Kiss Kiss!! The show was fantastic from start to finish, stayed after for the night club THAT WAS GREAT TOO staff was super friendly highly recommend going
Comedian Ray Vazquez aka Fat miley Cyrus is beyond the worst comedian i ever heard in my entire life, i didnt even find not one joke funny except his stupid looking face and hairstyle. Worst Comedy club in the world wouldnt go there even if they paid me. The owners of this place should fire him for good. Straight Garbage!!!
Small and cozy. Good comics.
A super cool experience and great comics from nyc and around the country!!
What an AWESOME venue!! Just a great and cost effective place for live comedy!! AC now finally has live stand up comedy on a weekly basis with a great mix of local and national comics for a uper reasonable cost!! A definite must do while in Atlantic City!!
As a performer and fan, this place has such a cozy, new york comedy feel. a great spot and funny comedians to boot. cant wait to go back
I normally dont care if I see 1 or 2 bad comedians in the whole show. But every comedian that came out when I went was completely terrible. This place doesnt even compare to clubs that are out in NY. Never coming back again.
Went last nite had great laughs with matt petey zach ray jerrold. Jo joWill b back
Great place to see a comedy show
Such a fun show and a welcome change of pace from the normal cheesy casino comedians
The comedians were hilarious, we laughed till we cried, a must see show
Fun place! Saw serious A list talent perform and its a casual fun spot - highly recommend!
Great place! Really love the comics that come thru and perform here.
Very fun and enjoyable!
Cool room, great comics, fun club!
There is not enough forgiveness amongst all the beings of Earth and of the Universe to reconcile the infinite abomination that is Atlantic City comedy club. Its unparalleled terribleness is so powerful that it quakes the very foundation of what we simpletons call comedy. That comedy club is an insult to all of Gods creation and the infamy of its existence scars the sands of time of the human legacy. Let it be know that Atlantic City comedy club is that of pure evil and gluttony. It is truly the 10th Circle of Hell.
Very Funny! The stage looked awesome and the comics were super funny.
Tried everything to keep my eyes open (the guy in the front row did fall asleep). Nearly 10 comics, 1 funny (the last). Most blamed the audience for not being a good crowd. They were all just awful, amateur comics. Some admitted to not having a set and not giving a f*** ....no table service, seemed like a pop up comedy show. Very unorganized. I cant see enough terrible things about it.
Randomly stopped in after a walk on the boardwalk and had an amazing time! Nice to see more comedy venues opening up here in AC!!
Absolutely hilarious! So good to have comedy back in the Trop!
So much fun!
Please dont go to this club. Comedians are extremly poor quality, not as described or famous. As the humor they use vulgar, offensives language. We had to walk out of the show, because could not take vulgarity any more. The worst comedy show, I ever attended. Already requested a refund, hope will get it.
Just horrible. Awkward silences after each joke. Not funny at all. The MC didnt care to even be prepared to bring the next person up. Every black comedian got up on stage and said I dont give a f***, and Im going to do whatever the f*** I want. Literally one guy just sat on the barstool and repeatedly said he didnt have a set and didnt care. Its one thing to tell racist jokes and another to just say, White people are racists. Awkward silence. This was supposed to be an entertaining comedy club but instead was a soapbox for the angry and unemployed.
We were looking to do something different in AC - really fun spot!
Great venue and spot for comedy!
17.50 on Groupon....wonder why cause the venue blows!!!!!
Just not funny. One comedian out of 5 was funny. They had no real material. Waste of time and money
The show was great
I had someone pay for me and Im pissed that person spent money on me to watch that terrible excuse of a show. The more I think of it, my mood drastically changes and I cant sleep knowing I spent 2 hours in that terrible establishment. I wouldnt wish watching this show on my worst enemy. I hate you Matt Bridgestone; you unfunny rat bastard. Shut up Amy Hawthorne.
The comedians were hilarious. Just know its a little raunchy but it made it funnier
Terribly managed, its no surprise this place hasnt been successful. Ive never been to such a poorly organized comedy show in my life.
If I could give it 1/8 of one star I wouldThis was the worst comedy show I have ever attended! I went with four women and none of us laughed once. We continued to hold out hope but each comic continued to disappoint. when the headliner opened her act with a joke about cocktail waitresses and late term abortions followed by a about the children murdered at Sandy Hook we finally gave up.
Great place to see some of the most innovative stand up.
Walked by the guys advertising the Sunday show, so decided to give it a try. I mean, how horrible could it be? Oh boy was I wrong, the MC relentlessly attacked an older English woman, that clearly didnt deserved to be attacked. Later the performers blamed the audience for not having a sense of humor, when the problem was how unfunny they were. I understand they cant all be good, but not to have a single good one really sucked.
Such a great experience!
