This was my first time to an aquarium. It was awesome seeing all the different fish up close. There were three floors with many different habitats. Small little activities for the kids and events. I was here with my family and the kids loved it. It was a nice day as well. I look forward to going back and visiting other aquarium to compare. So far I recommend to visit if youre here in Atlantic city for vacation. It took me a few year to finally make a stop. Im glad I did.
This is a cute little aquarium thats perfect for kids under ten. My son loved the petting stations and really liked the huge loggerhead turtle with all the big bass and sturgeon in the tank downstairs. If it was cheaper Im sure more people would go, it was $26 for two adults and a child and its hard to stay for more then two hours there. $21 for us would be in my opinion the most I should have spent.
The aquariums was nice. It was affordable. It has 3 floors. The top floor is play area for kids with beautiful views of Atlantic city and the ocean. There is an outdoor area on the third floor as well thats great for photo opportunities. The second floor has turtles, snakes, more fishes, and a touch tank for sting rays. There is also a large party room for private parties. The first floor has fish tanks, eels, turtles, and a touch tank for baby sharks. There are some interactive activities for kids like coloring station, shark picture area, and top floor. Fun for the whole family and priced right!
Beautiful location in Gardners basin not much as open right now because of that endemic what if you get a chance free place to visit
Was here prior to corona. I miss thiss place, hope to see it in 2021
Very nice to social dine and friendly atmosphere and to top it, good sea food.
I was little confused between 2 and 3 stars. The reason is that for the $10 price, the place is too small and you will find that the aquarium ends even before it starts properly. The top floor practically has nothing but an open balcony. The second floor has some touch species and some snakes and frogs. The first floor has some big tanks but thats it. As compared to many national and international aquarium and with a scale of $10, I finally settled for 2 stars. If you have never been to an aquarium then I wouldnt stop you from going here.
Truly an amazing time, seeing dolphins in NJ was breath taking. Definitely will do it again
Small but full of sea life and you can hand feed stingrays ( hand feeding stingrays is the best like feeding water pupys!)
Very nice location, busy harbor area, great food nearby, tug boats working, open air bar, fishing excursions nearby. Perfect location, ample parking, easy to find.
It was a very cute little aquarium. Lots of history we learned and the staff was very nice and friendly. Also Adult Admission is 10 dollars. Not bad at all. Make sure you head up to the third for to get the awesome balcony view.
This place is just awesome. This was my first experience where I actually got to touch the fishes. Also, I had not been to a place where they had such a wide variety of fishes. The entry fee is just $10. Overall fantastic..!!!
Three floors of fish, reptiles, and hands on touch tanks. The guide at entry is easy to follow and informative about what is in each tank. Cute activities for kids. Great views of the area can be seen from the third floor observation deck. Whats not to like about aquariums!
Their website says nothing about it being closed. It is closed until further notice because of COVID-19. Although it couldve been a fun experience, they are currently closed.
I love everything that is nature, very fun and food wherever I want
Quaint aquarium thats definitely on the small scale. For the $10 admission fee, its worth a visit but can get old rather quickly as there are a very limited amount of animals/displays.Its a hexagonal/octagonal? building. There 3 floors; floors 1 & 2 house animals & exhibits. Floor 3 has activities for kids & a great outdoor deck. The register at the entrance also functions as the gift shop.To their credit, they werent kidding about the amount of animal interactions! Tropical sharks, 2 horseshoe crab touch tanks & interactive animal shows on the 1st floor. 2 stingray touch tanks along with a pelt wall on the 2nd floor. The AC aquarium appears great for young kids & is worth the $10 as an adult, but is quite small. You will definitely see all the exhibits in 1 hr or 2 hrs tops even at a leisurely pace.
The aquarium was great. Lots of information to take in and huge variety of aquatic life to check out. The Staff was very knowledgeable and helpful when we had questions. Friendly as well.
Situated on two floors, aquarium has to offer some interesting meetups with oceanic and tropical life. Theres large parking area and third floor is used for observation deck. Worth a visit.
Awesome place. A must stop while in town
AC aquarium is a good value with coupons from local hotels and publications. There are 3 levels to explore with more than just aquatic and semiaquatic animal exhibits. There are quite a few stations for kids to touch or create art, and a small gift shop at entrance. Some of the tanks looked a bit small for the size or quantity of the creatures in them, but hey what do I know about it?
My son and I had a very nice time looking at all of the marine life at the aquarium. We even got to touch manta rays! The price was just right, too.
Fun place to visit with kids and family and not expensive..
This is the best aquarium yet. The kids and I loves the fact that there were petting exhibits. Super duper cool.
Nice little aquarium for kids. Not much to see but kids can definitely enjoy for an hour or 2. They have petting and a small animal show which is fun and entertaining.
A very tiny aquarium but very neat and quaint. Great visit for a afternoon break from the beach
Absolutely loved it here. There were three touch tanks and we got to pet stingrays, sharks, starfish and more. It’s small but so fun!!
This is a great two hour activity for kids. There are lots of touch take opportunities for the kids which include sting rays, horseshoe crabs, large fish and other creatures. There are also demonstrations going on throughout the day and opportunities to feed the sting rays (additional fee applies to feeding sting rays but the demonstration is free to watch). Its a great activity for a rainy day and if the weather is nice, the area that the aquarium is in is very nice with dining options.
The outside of this place great you can sit down enjoy so much boats going by tables to eat many places for great food
Small but a great place to visit with the family. They have times to feed the sting rays as well. Definite must try, it was an unforgettable experience.
Didn’t get to go inside. Note on door “Closed for COVID-19
I didnt actually go into the aquarium. I was at an outdoor concert on the grounds. The place is spacious and we had an AMAZING time. Bring your lawn chairs, coolers and have a great time. There are places to eat and plenty of room for you to have a great time. There are regular bathrooms(thank God)as well as porta pots. I will try to get to the actual aquarium next time.
Because of the seagulls outside of the Aquarium, we gave it an enthusiastic five stars! You can buy small popcorns for only one dollar and enjoy them while strolling around the two-story aquarium. Exhibition is small but with two rare purple scorpionfish that we have never seen before in bigger aquariums in Chicago, Montreal, Quebec City, New York City or Montreal in California! The aquarium is filled with three hands-on stations where you can touch horseshoe crabs, sharks and stingrays! Animal show and stingray feeding twice of each everyday before 2pm! Cost is 10 for adults and 6 for children. Highly recommended for a relaxed and happy day trip! :)
Beautiful aquarium wth nice stuff, there are some kinds of fishes, turtles and baby sharks to see...furthermore, kind of snakes that really interesting for reading and know the number of eggs that they can produce...wish in the futur will extended it have more varieties.
Wonderful place to visit, especially during the seafood festivals season.Very lively during summer with all sorts of entertainment and fun with friends.
A marvelous little gem of a local aquarium. Great place to take kids. Surrounded by outstanding ocean views. Could have spent an afternoon on the observation deck.
Such a cute aquarium. The parking is free and tickets are cheap. We had my sons birthday party here and its was great!
Nice little aquarium thats inexpensive (10 bucks per person) and full of some pretty cool fish and animals. Dont forget to hit the observation deck on the roof before you leave for some great views.
Small aquarium. Not expensive for entry. Three levels but exhibits only on 1st two floors. Top floor offers great outdoor views. My only complaint is that some of the exhibits are too small for the animals.
I love aquariums! So when I went on my vacation to Atlantic City back in September of last year, I was pleased to find out that they had a aquarium not too far from where I was staying. When we pulled into the parking lot, I wasn’t too impressed by the size of the building. I wondered how did they get an aquarium inside such a tiny place. I guess I was so spoiled from the ones in Baltimore and Camden. Well to my surprise I really had a great time. For some reason it felt like you were able to get a up close and personal with all of the exhibits. The small size of the building made it easy to talk to the staff a hear the stories behind all of the animals. There was no crowds which is great because I hate dealing with large crowds. We also got the chance to feed the stingrays and touched them as they swim by. The staff was very friendly and answered all of our questions about each exhibition. So, if you’re ever in the area, drop by the Atlantic City Aquarium. You won’t be disappointed and you’ll learn a lot. Sometimes a good thing come in a small package!
Great place to take the family.
Interesting and nice place. Reasonable fee and they have activities like stingray feeding and they had sessions about small animals. Staff was helpful and the stingray feeding session fee was reasonable and interesting. They have limited tickets for special feeding sessions so be sure to grab them soon and be there on time. They have stations where you can touch few animals. Be sure to check with the staff onsite if you have doubts.
A surprising cool place. I took my niece recently. I really didnt expect much but it was pretty good. Definitely worth a visit if you are looking for something to do.
Parasailing was fun the crew is funny. I highly recommend it
The Aquarium is currently Closed. But theres many restaurants by the water if u up to go eat there.
Its closed. The least would be a recorded message on their phone letting you know .
Very small and local aquarium that is a must visit. Free parking, cool gifts, and awesome fish to see. They even have touch tanks which is always cool! Very family friendly and inexpensive than more large scale aquariums.
Great experience for aquatic animals and reptiles. Very well kept very low key. Nice customer service, price is percect.
Very friendly staff and very reasonable prices...if youre in Atlantic City I would highly recommend stopping by
Would be helpful to update your website stating you are closed. Pretty dumpy outside your establishment too.
Is very tiny, nothing extreme here... cute place to take the little ones and maybe have a picnic outside afterwards. Nice views to the beach, you can see everything in less than 30 min. Make sure to get your coupon for a dollar off your admission. Just Google acaquariumcoupon.
Its good for 8 and under. But the basin is a very cool spot.
Its a small aquarium but very nice. The entrance is $10 for Adult. Free for children. Spent time around an hour and a half. There are aquariums with different sea creatures, that you can touch. Overall very pleasant experience and inexpensive one.
Great exhibits! Especially for kids
It was fun seeing Weird fish i had fun
Amazing local aquarium that takes such good care of the beautiful animals that live there
Goog service, fresh fish.
Nice place to walk and relax
This was a neat aquarium, you can interact with some sea creatures!
Nice small aquarium. Great staff!
Very cool establishment overlooking the water. Lots of hands on! Kid friendly:)
Very nice aquarium, but also quite small. I went for a childrens birthday party, and they had a very nice sized room that comfortably fit 20 people.
Good places for kids under 3 years old. But the places need a few remodeling. Staff is great, place is small and they need more attractions other than the Colombian snake they have on the second level.
Nice outdoors place, okay for canoe and fishing.
It is nice aquarium but not much animals they need more.
Super cute aquarium. Its small but reasonably priced and well maintained. I recommend feeding the stingrays!
Lovely midsize aquarium. Multiple touch tanks, and the top floor is all kids activities. I look forward to coming back.
Nice beautiful place i like this place
Easy to get to, with lots of free parking. A small aquarium with lots of exhibits you can touch. In fact, there were more exhibits (animals) you can touch here than any other aquarium Id ever been to. There are 3 levels but the third floor is mostly just for the view, with windows overlooking the water and two areas to walk outside to see the views. The first and second floors both offer aquatic life. I recommend grabbing a free paper guide when you first walk in. The guide offers the most information on each exhibit. There are vending machines on-site for snacks and drinks. They also offer a large room for people to rent for birthday parties or conferences.
I recomend anyone to go check out the aquarium in AC. Its a awesome place to bring the family.
A bit small but a great way to spend an hour.
This was a great place very nice people and great service even have a petting place for the kids to touch a shark and stingray.
Kids loved the aquarium! Great touch tanks and a friendly staff!
Not too much too see but the staff is nice and its pretty inexpensive to get in. Staff was very friendly.
Cute little aquarium. Small but good for little ones.
Good place for kids. My 3 year old had fun. Killed about 1 hour here. 3 levels. First 2 have sea life and aquatic exhibits like stingrays, the 3rd floor is observation deck.
Nice small aquarium with hands on exhibits. Great place to spend an hour or two. Very helpful and attentive staff. Wife and kids had a good time. Try and time your visit so you catch the stingrays feeding time. This aquarium has plenty of charm and a great few of the atlantic city skyline and harbor. Especially loved the historical element added by the dive pod that is outside that was once used to let patrons go under the water for viewing. We will most certainly be back again. Very affordable.
Small aquarium with LOTS of touch tanks! Lost a star because their elevator is out of service, so its not currently handicapped accessible. Hopefully that gets fixed soon. I was able to hobble up and down the stairs, but just barely.
This is a great small aquarium to visit. The views from the observation deck are amazing.
Great place for kids. The team was friendly and helpful. Our kids loved the experience. Easy to navigate.
A bigger on the inside aquarium, with polite staff, and critters from different parts of the world.
The aquarium was closed so I could not go there but the surrounding area was very pretty.
Its a great aquarium to spend a couple of hours. Its small but very interactive and the stingray feeding was so much fun. Great staff. So friendly
The website says it’s open. I come here and the door is locked, and their number doesn’t even work. The area looks broken down and they made me waste money taking an Uber all the way here.
Small but nice, could do the entire aquarium in 30 to 40 minutes.
Well kept assortments of species. Interesting for children.
Compact aquarium, doesn’t have HUGE tanks, but we don’t have whales living in the area. Interactive displays and touch tanks were a big hit with the kids. Good time for everyone.
Very nice and clean, great for kids, many touch tanks, show with scuba diver feeding in the big tank. You also can feed the Stingrays. Great friendly staff who makes it fun for children. Observation deck. Only small.
Good place to bring your kids
Great place for kids. The team was friendly and helpful. The kids actually get to touch the shark....!!! Our kids loved the experience. Not too crowded, easy to navigate. We will be back next time if we are in Atlantic City.
Good for family outings. You can touch sharks and sting rays. Informative slow in which they introduce you to some animals. Its a small a aquarium 3 floors but it will still keep the kids busy if only for 5 minutes...
This place was neat and feeding the stingrays was completely awesome staff was very friendly and knowledgeable prices where reasonable
This was my first trip to Atlantic city. Although it was only 3 floors, I had a great time with my friend. Nice mini aquarium. I was surprised with the amount of touch tanks, there was a good amount of them, with a wide variety of interesting animals too. The entrance fee is worth it considering the fact that the money goes back into taking care of these animals. The staff is very friendly as well which made the experience more pleasant.
This is a small place, but interactive. There are lots of changes to pet rays and sharks, so it is great for young kids.
Nice Place For The Kids
Nice Aquarium for young children. Lots of touch tanks.
Small intimate and gift shop was reasonable. The ability to touch some of the creatures was super cool!
It’s a lot smaller than the Camden one. Great for younger kids. The view from the third floor was nice.
It is a very nice place, everything is very clean, the people are very nice, they have spectacularly beautiful fish, but it is very small, you do not have much to see. I had higher expectations
