What an Awesome place to eat some delicious Chicken Wings and More!!! The owner was there, very hospitable and eager to accommodate to Navy Sailors from down the road at the Naval Base! Although these pictures look good...The Food is Way Better!!!Plus, You can also enjoy an Adult Beverage, Soft Drink or a cup of Southern Sweet Tea!!!

Finally found this awesome restaurant! Mr. Lewis makes the best chicken wings ever! So many sauce selections. Going to get the deviled crab next and fried shrimp. This place has so much wonderful history.

Its such a lovely atmosphere. Ive been a customer off and on for so many years. I remember when I first moved to Florida from up north well over 30yrs now this was one of the 1st restaurant & Lounge spot I went to and I always felt like it was my family who owned this spot. Because they always made me feel safe, a made sure me and anyone that was with me was appreciated.

This place has so much potential, cant wait to see, all it has in store. They have a dance floor that would be perfect for line dancing. Lets hope they make Tues nights a country line dancing night, now this is what I would call lit. We need a go to country bar in Jax so praying this place will make it happen. And the bartenders are super hot

Very nice cozy atmosphere. The wings, shrimp, and fries was very good and seasoned well. Angelina was our server and she did a phenomenal job. I highly recommend her because she was very attentive to our group of five and enjoyed doing her job.

Black owned!!! very small crowds never packed. Food is great. Ive only tried the gizzards, wings, and salad. If your going for the food youll be happy. But dont go expecting lots of people.

My wife and I enjoyed ourselves. We are international travelers with a taste for the rare comfortable spots in Jacksonville where you dont have to worry about a thing. This was the perfect place. Its back tucked away but the food looked delicious and we felt like we had been going there for years when we arrived, they were so friendly and made a killer lemon drop martini. The music was great too. On the outside the place looks like it should be in the Caribbean which is not a bad thing at all and inside as cool and spacious with any music you desire to request playing on a great system. The owner was so kind as well. I highly recommend this spot to anyone just looking to get off the beaten path a little and be somewhere where they can just be themselves and relax. Thank you for the great evening.

Easy to miss but glad I found out about this hidden gem. Lots of history, great family owned business. Very affordable.

My husband and I were in town to Welcome my Sailor home from deployment and one of her coworkers suggested we eat here.. We were very pleased.. with everything we ordered.. Would recommend this place to everyone..

Lewis can definitely burn...learned some history while i was there too. The owner is a retired veteran and his establishment has been black owned for 50 yrs. Good food, laid back music...and the waitresses are nice.

Very good food, very warm welcome from the owner and his dad :) we liked the place a lot and would recommend it however there is one thing why I give it only 4 stars, thats that it is allowed to smoke at least in the club area and door to this area is not closed.

Its really has A out of date run down interior but the DJs here and the people are generally cool. The kitchen is very in appealing and dirty but Ive heard the food is tasty(I wouldnt eat it) its a great spot to party though has a full bar with bar tenders and a dance floor
