I love the facility the staff was professional friendly and courteous Im going to make that my new swimming facility Ill be back next week
This place is above and beyond exceptional! The place is very clean. And the staff...they really make the place! They’re so kind and sweet. Not only do I look forward to swimming, I look forward to seeing them. Definitely a breath of fresh air during such a crazy time.
This is a old neighborhood in Atlanta thats called the west side. Its some nice houses around here and theres some that need attention.
Outstandingly a great place to enjoy some great summer vacation with your family and friends, also looking at the park and its nice landscaping so adorable too actually take back home from Washington park, which will be a beautiful smile once you leave...
I love WP. The staff is always welcoming and pleasant. The facility is very clean.
Ok but its croweded and some people act wired
This my all time favorite park, the atmosphere is lovely
Nice park to take the kids to play
My 8 year daughter swims here regularly with Coach D and the developmental swim team. Coach D makes her kids work hard but balances it with lots of love. It is a great place for kids who dont want or arent quite ready for the commitment of competitive swim (and the cost).
Great place to chill with friends
Great Staff! Clean facility!
Great summer camp kids learn to swim, play tennis and golf. They offer good field trips too. The price is very reasonable, but make sure you register in April spots will fill up.
The park is not the same as a few years ago. The bathroom is always closed, and APB is often discourteous.
This space is notorious for swimming lessons, competitive swimmimg and daily swimming. There are employees and lifeguards on duty from 8AM to close. As a previous swim lesson participant, the facility has been a cornerstone in the transitioning to bilateral swimmer. There are more than five lap lanes over six feet in depth. And, beginners can breathe a little easier if applicable is an area where swimming is in less than 4 feet in depth. Swim aerobics is available as well. Non-swimmers and spectators are welcomed to sit in spacious bleachers. Facility membership is $110 if resident of Fulton County. Or, drop-in to swim at $5 per visit. The space is clean and lights are bright. This is a memorable facility near Ashby Street Marta Station, Washington Park and Booker T. Washington High School. Young children, youth and adults swim lessons start in April.
It was Nice and layed back
Great weekend hang out
I am a Park Rangers and that feel nice.
Two great pools. Amazing instructors. Front desk staff is a bit raggedy around communication with visitor inquiries. Otherwise, great natatorium!
Good park for family events!
My daughter really enjoys this park. Not to mention its on the beltline. Nice size field, and exercise area on one end and a playground on the other, a trail and as is that wasnt enough it also has a good size sports field. Area is decent. Has indoor pools as well. Great for family gatherings and barbecues.
Its a nice park its convenient and its more enjoyable the average grade and you can also have fun with your family Barbecue and DJs enjoying sports events its just convenient and I would recommend it to anyone that is interested on having a barbecue or family day to try out Washington Park
I live near this park and i take my children there all the time! Year round swimming, a swim camp, and in the summer on fridays, they have tennis for the children where they do many fun activities and eat pizza at the end!!! Great place to workout. They have an exercise park and a walking trail in a peaceful neighborhood.
Good times only at this park
Didnt go in the Rec center just had barbeque and tailgate for game we had an amazing time......
Went there this past weekend. The atmosphere was relaxing. Everyone associating the kids where having fun. Highly recommend
Peaceful, relaxing
Its very nice, yes they have toilets and more activities to do there.unlike Maddox park.no toilets.i give 5 stars to Washington park.
Nice outdoor grilling and a community vibe in summer. But bathrooms need a full upgrade to want to return with kids.
Nice park, big gazebo. Nice place for family gatherings, parties or whatever.
Great Instructors, awesome environment, nice pools
Love the Aquatic Center. Its clean; the staff has always been friendly and helpful. They have several lanes available for lap swimming. The showers are nice and warm; they keep the pools at a comfortable temperature.
Sorry administration. Uninformed about whats going on at their own pool.
Had our family cookout here and this park is great for this kids
Staff was friendly from my initial visit and since. The facility is older than the new MLK natatorium, but Washington has way more lanes. Ive never had to share a lane.
This is a good park ... good use some updates but the kids play well here
Nice pool. Staff seem professional. I will be returning.
Its a ok park. The restrooms need to be cleaned and available
I totally enjoy the walking trail enough it is not miles long like most of the trails I visit. But it is sufficient and I still get my steps in.
Ive been swimming here since November. This place is great, clean and totally under-utilized. Anita is awesome. I only wish the hours were a little different. On Fridays they dont open until 9:30 and Saturdays are limited hours and its closed on Sundays. Other than that this place is the best kept secret in town.
How can I get the rent details for baby birthday party
Family reunion here and it was a success.
I love going to the soft ball games.
Great neighborhood park! They even had a free jazz concert, sponsored by the city of Atlanta! Lots of things to do for the kids also!
Great physical therapy for the kiddos and old folks too. IF you live nearby and dont go through youre missing out on a gem
The greatest place to be in the atl hands down
Celebrating my cousins birthday and we had a great time with family and friends that I havent seen in over 20 years!
Neighborhood park. Had class reunion picnic here. Its a nice park. Grew up in nearby neighborhood. The updates were nice.
The best pool on the Westside. The staff is amazing and friendly and the neighborhood ladies always give us a good laugh
I get there on an early weekday morning to swim laps, and almost nobody there. SWEEEET! The staff is awesome and this clean-kept facility meets my every need. FYI, the chlorine is kept at a high level for good reason. You most definitely do not want to be without goggles! (rookie mistake on my part)
Nice place to visit and have a event
Love it great instructors ask for coach D
Ive been coming to this parkFor almost 8 years I know thisPark better than anyone and I love ItIts really cool and amazing
My fav PARK! This is the area I grew up in and went to school. They have done a great job with design and additions to the park. We love having our reunions here.
I lluve a block away and bought a home in the area 2 years ago. In the summer theres always events on the weekend. Nice crowds and good police presence. Never seen any problems. Just people having a great time.
Amazingly hot but obviously for the pool
The atmosphere and environment is being great setting for any one person, a couple, a group, or a family in whom loves to be outdoors with having some peaceful enjoyable fun times.
Staff is really good
Very clean and the people are really nice. The pool was CLEAN and lap swimming lanes were open
My first time, my experience was great, good awesome it was good and not broing so much fun. Since it is so much fun you should bring your kids plus they have a swimming pool now your kids want to come. I didnt know they have a swimming pool until I read all of the reviews. However if your kids think it is so broing stay at home it where you go and breathe and relax in piece. If you think it is fun go to WASHINGTON PARK and have fun and party like it no tomorrow.
Wonderful swimming facility and helpful staff
Its a great park to have family functions.
Ive been swimming at Washington Park Natatorium for the past month and Im loving it! The staff, especially Anita, have been extremely welcoming. The pool is clean and set at the perfect temperature.
I havent been here in a minute.
We had a great time at this park. Softball games were being played, cookouts were held under the pavilions and trees, and the park had curb side parking close to the pavilions and softball field.
Nice place for you and your family
Nice park except for the insects. Playground needs pest control
Great park, but police treats everyone like they are doing something
Went their for free pet clinic on 4/7/18, lots of dogs qas thier, it was great
A great place for family and friends to gather and have a good old time.
Great festival there. Good work Belt Line.
Had a great rime, small narrow roads and no spaces for parking.
Great summer scenarios, Westside day is fun & an indoor pool
Love the west side of Atlanta
Awesome pool. Thank you Leslie P. for keeping us healthy, fit & fabulous!
Started swimming here a couple of months ago. Underused gem thats a dream spot for lap swimmers (the main pool has 12 lanes that are 25 yards). Even when swim classes and student activities are going on late afternoon/evenings - you can get your own lane in the middle. Theres also a more shallow therapy pool thats heated.Hours recently changed where its now 8 to 8 most weekdays, and closed on Sundays.Large locker room (bring your own lock) with individual showers that they just installed with curtains. You can also bring your bag out to the pool to set on top of the bench along the wall.Theres a small freeweight room next to the pool, and another room with exercise equipment (treadmill, etc.). Thankfully these rooms are air conditioned.Other plusses - lifeguards on duty (and super friendly), two bike racks just outside the front door in view of check in and covered by the front entrance (this is less than a block from the new Westside beltline).I bought an annual pass thats a fraction what youd pay for a private gym (youre sent a picture ID that you then scan to sign in) - otherwise its just a few bucks BUT they dont accept cash anymore. Membership is also good at most other city of Atlanta swim and rec centers (Piedmont Pool has its own membership).Nice mix of people - rarely crowded if youre there in the morning or early afternoon.
I go to the Aquatic center for Swim Atlanta. Their is one tall older guy with a stomach that is so rude. He has an awful attitude and does not need to be working at the facility. Furthermore, whenever he has to speak to adults his tone and demeanor is horrible as well. He is always either watching the desk or yelling at his own staff telling the swim guards what to do. It is very unprofessional and the issue needs to be looked into it is embarrassing.
Great park to go to . Also have indoor pool
Great place to take children to play and jus kick bk
Swim class with John! Wed@6ish
I love washington park i have swim here in a long time it seems like home and i love the whole staff i really think this the best place ever thank u
Absolutely beautiful place fun to visit with the family
Wonderful time and peaceful park for the old school folks
The track for walking is nics only thing is it closes quick
A good place to swim laps without crowding. Locker room is less than ideal since you cant lock them and the water is a bit warm.
Im from that hood the park is a great place
This pearl of the city is staffed by professionals, friendly, clean, convenient, and has awsome hours.
Very nice I hang there sometime with the park rangers.
Had a great walk on the beltline
Saturday and Sunday are the best days to go!
Convenient location and something for the whole family to enjoy
It has tennis courts, indoor swimming pool, picnic tables and baseball field, basketball court. A lot of parking and grilling areas
