I went here to celebrate a friends birthday. This was one of our activities for the day.We had a reservation. I do not know if it was required. Just to let you know this is like a rehab bed warehouse space. It is open indoors but open air sort of. The huge warehouse dock doors remain open.We had a great instructor that was patient with us considering it was all women in my party. I never in my life thought I would learn to throw an axe as a sport but I am not defeated. I was pretty open to the process. Its a little bit harder than people think it is. It looks so simple but can actually take the wind out of you.The other tables were fun to be around. They allow you to bring your own food and alcohol. We didnt know or else we would have done so.I would recommend this for groups definitely and would return.

Man has this place changed in a year. This place is so cool - its a great way to have fun, work off some stress, and do something different. I want to join a league and perfect my trick shots.

My friend and I took our spouses here got there birthdays this past weekend and it was absolutely incredible!!! They both couldnt stop talking about how awesome it was. The best part was we didnt have a reservation, but they were able to accommodate us quickly and we were able to receive top quality service as if we had arranged a VIP event (again we were walkins). I can not express how thankful I am for Bad Axe Throwing!!! You all came through and made our birthday weekend experience spectacular! Thank you guys so much!

Fun place. Staff was good at setting us up and helping us out. Safety was brought to light and stressed. A little pricy but it is a good time. They are opening there own bar soon, which should be good as long as the pricing is smart.

I loved it! We went here for my boyfriends surprise birthday party. Our instructor, Kyle, was awesome! He was very patient with our group and those that needed extra help, like me. We were able to bring in our own snacks and drinks. I would definitely visit here again.

I went there for the first time Saturday. It was part a Dads and sons birthday group (6 of us). Connor was super cool walked us through safety and got us going pretty quick. After warm up he got us going on a couple of different games that the kids loved!! We were there for about 2 hours and there was plenty of room. The sons beat the dads but it was close. Everyone had a good time and we’re all looking forward to going back. Thanks Connor in Bad Axe Throwing!!

Omg, we had so much fun!!! Lots of different ways to throw. The coaches help you troubleshoot which works best for you. It made for a great date night! We will definitely be back!

I’m not a Karen. I’m a very empathetic and understanding person and I NEVER leave bad reviews anywhere and never have. This is my 1st one star review ever. I’m sure the ax throwing part is amazing and fun but the reservation service is no good. The actual location doesn’t have a phone number and the reservation line is outsourced. I needed to cancel due to inclement weather literal TORNADO and HURRICANE warnings that are broadcasted on TV—we have a 2 hour drive there and didn’t want to drive 2 hours back at midnight in the rain/HURRICANE (and risk my and my friends lives). I was initially told my entire deposit could be used another day. Then I was told half my deposit could go toward another day. Then the representative talked to their supervisor and the supervisor said I could get none back if I cancelled because “the coach had already arrived at the location and needs to be paid” (3 hrs early) which I get on a normal day but not with inclement weather. That should be on the company. I doubt if someone had COVID they would get their money back either if they had to cancel.Let’s just say I won’t be making Another reservation at this establishment.

All you need to start an axe throwing business is a local hardware store, apparently! My wife and I went for our wedding anniversary, and we had a blast. Our instructor was a delight, and an experienced thrower. He dazzled us with his ability, taught us how to throw an axe properly, and checked in on us as we threw for an hour. I was able to hit the bullseye many times after I learned the technique. I had always thrown an axe incorrectly, apparently. We went to the Atlanta location in the early afternoon and walked right in. I recommend it for a special outing.

This is a long overdue post. Bad Axe throwing was amazing. The customer service was amazing and our instructor KYLE WAS AMAZING. I was there for a Bday party. We were able to have him for about 2 hours instruct us on how to throw the axes. Kyle also did some fancy tricks for us at the end. I have never thrown Axes before but I can tell you I will definitely be back. This place allows you to bring your on food and drinks yes that includes Alcohol also! Do yourself a favor and try it out . Great for Bachelorette, or Bachelor parties. Also great for team building or just a night out on the town.

We went to Bad Axe to celebrate one of our best friends birthday this weekend, and had an awesome time. The throwing coach was funny, patient, and did a great job helping people out. We had a huge crew with us, but never felt rushed, ignored, or unwanted. It was definitely a great experience and everyones already talking about wanting to do it again!

Finally was about to get out of the house and throw some axes! One of the most fun things I have ever done. They lanes were spaced out well so we never had to be anywhere near anyone else that was not in our party. Kyle was also a great instructor!

We went to Bad Axe Atlanta last night for my bachelorette party and it was so much fun! Coach Kyle quickly put us at ease with throwing sharp objects and was encouraging and entertaining! I cant recommend this place enough! I will definitely be going back!

Had a fun afternoon here with friends and our kids. Arielle was our coach and she did a great job teaching us how to throw correctly and show us trick shots. She also arranged games and we divided in two teams. Fun!

The crowd was an awesome mix of regulars and couples on date night. 90s music and wall murals gave this place a fun retro vibe. If youre into bowling or darts this is a fun alternative. I really didnt think this was going to be fun. I went for a party, and I absolutely LOVED it! Desmond was our team leader/coach and he took extra time to make sure everyone had a great time and no one felt left out. He really gets all of the credit for making this activity a blast!

Took a small group for team building for our managers outing. Extremely fun time. It was everyones first time so we needed hands on training; we opted for the lane with a trainer. Knowledgeable employees, shout out to Eve (or Evie Eve as we called her). She was terrific! We also opted to bring canned beer which kept the fun rolling. Pretty sure that some competitive addictions were formed in just a few hours. Look forward to next time.

I went to Bad Axe recently because of a work event.The place is big and open, there are lots of cages all around.3 instructors were giving instructions on safety and how to throw the Axe. All the information was very helpful and they were very friendly.We formed 2 teams and did some kind of competition. It was so much fun and We all had a great time. I’m for sure going back with some friends.

This was a GREAT experience. The staff was so accommodating. They did everything possible to make the evening enjoyable for my friends and me. The greatest part was that we could bring drinks and food, which added organic experience. Dave and Mike were priceless. They were attentive, patient and 100% customer focused. Had an absolute ball!! I selected axe throwing for my team’s holiday outing and it didn’t disappoint. Kyle and Christian were the absolute best coaches. Kyle answered all of my millions of questions (even about the beer & wine to select) by phone call and text prior to our event. The service and location was awesome. The coaches (HIGHLY recommend Kyle & Christian) were PHENOMENAL. I will definitely be back and you should go.

Yesterday was my first time going axe throwing and my time here was absolutely amazing. The staff was cheerful and always helpful. I had a instructor by the name of Christian, he gave us games to play and corrected our form if we failed to hit the target. This is a place that you can bring your children for family fun. The facility is safe, so long as you follow the rules. Put this on your list as a MUST GO!!!

Great venue for good times! I attended a birthday party at Bad Axe with 7 other friends. We had two “lanes” for two hours. The service and safety instructions were terrific and the atmosphere was super fun. Love the byob and food policy! I’ll definitely be back!

Went last night, Monday 11/25. I wish I could remember the girl’s name who helped us. She was wonderful! The axe throwing alone would be enough for a good time, but she helped with coaching so we were both actually pretty good at it fast! She taught us games that made the experience way more fun. I went with a date, but this would be a great place for friends as well. They were great with my girlfriend. I would dare say this would be a kickass idea for “girls night out”. You could probably bring pictures of your ex to pin to the target!Fantastic experience! I will definitely be back!

My brother and I had a fantastic time celebrating our birthday with our family and friends at Bad Axe! Our instructor Eve was awesome! She kept the fun going all night with games and contests!I also want to give a big shout out to the security at this location as well! Towards the end of the night, while my family and I were taking pictures under the Bad Axe Mural, some people that were leaving after their event was over had decided to steal our birthday cupcakes! There was absolutely no reason to do that. In fact, if they had asked we would have gladly shared. But instead, they tried to ruin the fun that we were having.The security caught them outside and took back our property for us. We didnt realize what had happened at the time. Im super glad that we didnt see it happen or, catch the guys red handed and have to confront them about it, because if it had turned into a major altercation it would have put a damper on our awesome night. Thanks again to the security team! I really appreciated it!I will definitely be back! :)

We loved this place, it was more fun than it advertised. Just be warned, you can get hurt, so clumsy folks need not go..!! But if you can be safe and throw semi straight, even with a cockeyed half boozed up tilt.. have fun..

This was my first time axe throwing and I had an amazing time! The instructor Desmond was also great. He taught my sister and I everything we needed to know to make sure we were throwing properly as well as making sure we had a good time. I will definitely be back with more people.

It was a gloomy Saturday and my sister was in town. We wanted to try something new and we decided ax throwing would be cool. But little did we know we’d have a blast there. David the instructor was awesome and provided great instructions for us. If you’re looking for anew experience and you have stress to relieve this is a MUST try. Oh and it’s BYOB so you can bring wine and food in if you like. Enjoy!
