Came to this place about a year ago, I think our servers name was Deanna she made our experience great. This time when I went they acted like she never worked there. It took us forever to sit down because seating is very limited, the people at the door are basically pressuring you to get a section. After about 30 minutes we were able to sit down and I ordered some wings that tasted like they were cooked in the microwave with some sauce thrown on them. My server had an attitude when I asked her what was up with the food. Hookah was decent. The music was the highlight of the night. The servers add on a 20% tip which is probably why they just walk around all night. Definitely won’t be getting my money again.

Overpriced hookah lounge. I did have a good time here. I didn’t like seating arrangement and there was a lack of coordination between the staff. We had to ask for the same thing several times and at one point I had to literally get up and get it myself. The only reason I gave it a 3 was because it was an enjoyable night.

We had an awesome time. Good hookah and drinks along with good music. And they only have wings for food and no outside food allowed. Also it is 21 and up.

I went to Sahara to see whether there was any validity to the reviews Ive seen online. I went in with the benefit of the doubt that it would be an enjoyable experience. Unfortunately it was not.The venue is rather small. Two rooms separated by an archway. I went on a Saturday night around midnight, paying the $10 cover charge at the door. The ambience is very urban. Rap music floods the venue from the small DJ booth in the corner by the bar. After waiting nearly five minutes at the bar, I paid for 2 Heinekens at $6 a piece, before walking around to find a seat. But there wasnt any. Packed with well over 50 people, seating was only enough to hold about 20 and was primarily for hookah users. The booths which lined the wall costs $350, which to be honest is about $275 too much. I left after only spending 20 minutes inside. For a club the size of my apartment, Id rather stay at home, listen to Future on Pandora and crack open a 6-pack from the local package store. Just disgraceful. I will NOT be coming back.

Sahara is a must stop if your in Buckhead. New ownership and newly renovated has been very positive. I have been a few times now and appreciate the variety of hookah flavors. Plus it is always nice to be able to have a great drink at the same time.Always a decent amount of folks there, so make sure if you want a prime spot in a comfortable booth go early, but there is definitely ample amount of room.Staff and service has been top notch. It is a trendy lounge with excellent music and vibe.Plus if your lucky you will be joined by a celebrity. :-)

This place is a hole in the wall, in the most literal sense. The interior is poorly kept with holes in most of the seating. The service is horrible, the servers walk past time and time again because they add a 20% service charge regardless, so they feel there is no need to work for their tip. The drinks are watered down and expensive. There is one stall for women, and the security guard banged on the door yelling to have me come out after about 45 seconds because there was a line. How about add more stalls instead of timing. I will never give them another $10 entry fee or go back. Dont waste your time!

This experience starts around 9 on a Wednesday so take is as you will.A bit expensive for what you get but pretty good.Pros:-Decent music selection-Shisha is pretty fresh-Drinks are really stiffCons:-Music is really loud-No second check on flavor choice (loud music is to blame I think. More to follow)-drinks are smaller than water cups from McDonalds-empty AFSo I arrived and knowing what I like I asked for mint chocolate from fakher with an ice base. They where out of chocolate and asked what I wanted instead (still good so far) so I say ok, Ill have pirates cave then (pirates cave is a great starbuzz flavor if you havent tried it) they bring out a mini hookah that is MINT with a sprinkling of fruity.. I understand the confusion which is why Im still giving a 4 start rating but who TF mixes mint with a pre-mixed fruity?? Especially a 50/50 mix? Im used to places giving quizzical looks and asking if you are sure when you do unsavory mixes, that could have potentially me from having to order a second hookah so as to not have another unsavory mix of flavors. As far as occupancy goes, from 10:20 (when I arrived) to 11 (when I closed out the first time) I was the only customer. But 11 seems to be the magic hour and now there are 10+ consumers. For any one that read all of that, a price expectation:1 hookah+ice base ($5)5 cocktails (vodka red bulls)~$75In conclusion:Check it out. Its the best hookah lounge I found in Atlanta, mostly because of its relaxed environment and strong

I kinda like the lil joint...First time I ever went here was with one of my homegirls and the vibe was nice that night and decent crowd (may or june 2016)...I went back since then 3 or 4 times. Sad part is it seems to be going downhill...it sucks because on each occasion that Ive been back I hyped the place up to my peoples, we get there and they are looking at me like uhhh nah. Especially everytime the guy at the door says $10 to enter. Smh I definitely agree with other reveiws on the fact that the parking and price to get in is whack. It should probably be free to enter and $5 to park! Im having a birthday party in the city next saturday and want a spot to hit afterwards but this may not be it, I dont wanna be embarrassed in front of all my people on my birthday...DOES ANYONE READING THIS HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS OF PLACES TO GO IN THAT AREA??

Menu said crispy but they tasted boiled. Asked waitress for manager several times throughout the night yet she never came until the tickets were brought out. I visited Sahara lounge on a Saturday and this is the worst experience Ive ever had. Every time I go it has been a first come first serve lounge when it comes to seating. After paying I noticed it was packed and asked if there was a waiting list and I was told I could sit when someone got up. When I tried I was then told I had to buy a bottle, but I wasnt told that at the door. I asked another staff member they then told me to sit down at a table was $350. At this point I was livid because three people told me three different things after waiting an hour with a party of seven. I left and will never return and I dont recommend anyone else visit. Very unprofessional (sketchy)staff Im still trying to figure out how anyone is supposed to order food, drink, and smoke hookah standing up ??

Horrible customer service from the manager Issac. I spoke with the manager Issac over the phone who informed me that I could get a section that night for $350 that would contain up to 15 people, 1 bottle, and a complimentary bottle for the birthday person. He never communicated to me that I would have to be there before 10pm or my party would have to pay a cover charge at the door. When I arrived he then tried to say that each person would have to pay a cover charge. I thought this was absurd due to the fact that I was already paying $350 for the section and because that was not communicated over the phone. When I tried to speak to him about the logic behind the issue he became really rude and acted as if he didn’t need my money or want to hear what I had to say. I do understand how this business works but the rude and disrespectful behavior displayed of the manager Issac is the sole reason why I will never visit this establishment again and I wouldn’t recommend anyone else do either.

Was looking for a nice hookah bar to go to on a sunday while visiting on vacation ans this place was definately not it. The time said they were open until 3am however when I got there around 12:45 I was informed by the bouncer that they were going to close at 1:30 because of the lack of money the place made. I will say the music was good the drinks were way over price 12 dollars for a small cup that was worth maybe 6. Not to mention didnt even vet a chance to try the hookah tables were filled place was packed and there was no service. I asked one of the waitresses how could we get a hookah after watching her bring someone a hookah and give another table a refill she tells me they not bringing anymore out since they were about to close. Ironic when you just brought it out to a group that was already sitting around an empty table. Overall I would not recommend this place unless you like the ratchet atmosphere. Never returning again!

The menu has certain prices and says they automatically include 20% gratuity on each check. Fine. But when it was time to pay, our server -Amina I believe- claimed that the new lounge owner increased the prices but didnt change the menus and that now tip was NOT included. Coincidentally, the bill total seemed as if the menu was RIGHT and 20% tip was included....Either she was lying (which is what my emailed receipt says....so the new owner didnt change it in the system either?...right.) or they just practice bad business. Also, when first asked about the price difference, she claimed it was due to taxes.. She only gave the menu price story once I questioned them having a 20% tax smhI used to like this place. But now I dont know. Guess it just depends on who you get/what kind of night theyre having!

When I checked my account the first transaction took the money out but then put it right back in.
