Came here to celebrate my birthday and Im so glad we did. We were the first ones to arrive and were quickly greeted and sat down. We opted for the string art class and got to choose our stencils and string. Im glad we chose some of the less tedious art. [the more nails the more difficult your piece will be--and the more time it will take].Both of the young ladies were so nice and helpful. They had a full class of people doing terrariums and string art. It was a bit noisy but no one seemed to mind. The place was nice and clean. I enjoyed how the place was full of string art so you can borrow inspiration from those or completely revamp a piece. My husband enjoyed himself more than I thought he would. I cant stress enough how sweet and attentive the ladies working that day were, customer service alone was 5 stars.Groupon does have cheaper vouchers for the string art and the terrarium classes. Check them out,it was a fun 2 hours!

Really cool place! I loved making my own terrarium! Its still going strong! They break down the process for you and make it super fun and easy. Plus its BYOB, so you cant beat that!

My mom and I had such a fun date planting our terrarium! Weve tried to plant our own a while ago, but they didnt make it. This class taught us how to properly plant a terrarium and they gave us caring tips and instructions. Plus they are super cute!

My friends & I had so much fun! Typically on my girls nights out I have nothing to show for my fun evening except high bar tabs. With this event I was able to hang out with my friends, have a few glasses of wine, eat dinner and make a terrarium to bring home! The instructor and assistant were so fun and knowledgeable, my friends and I cant wait for the next one!

My daughter and I had a blast at plant and sip. I cant wait to take my husband and get him really tipsy lol

A group of friends and myself went for a going away party. For the amount of money we each paid, the things we were able to do were great. I spent about 20$-25$ and was able to pick between a range of succulents and terrariums as well as decorum. The vibe is very chill and creative (the allowed alcohol adds to that(everyone will be carded to ensure you are 21 if you plan on having alcohol)). The woman running the event was very sweet and nice! I definitely would recommend for a nice summer day activity. Overall great experience.

Nice friendly staff. Went with a coworker and had a nice time. We also were able to meet some other great ppl. I would definitely recommend this place.

There was very little interaction between the instructor and attendees, but then again this is more suitable for ages 4 to 10 and not so much fir adults. It was extremely elementary and didn’t require much instruction. With a lot of creativity this might be able to be turned into something for adults. Additionally, it started nearly 30 minutes late and ended about 30 minutes early. This 2 hour event could be shorter Ned to 45 minutes.

The location was very easy to find with plenty of parking. The entire place was very neat & clean and the concept was soooo cute. I love that you can bring wine and finger foods if you choose. The staff was very friendly and they were so patient with us while we were making the craft. I love that you can choose what you want to make. It is a great value for the money. They took lots of pictures for us at the end as well. My mother and I had a great time.

This was fun, out of the ordinary. Our terrariums turned out very nice. Just FYI, the only alcoholic beverages allowed are beer & wine. Check the website for all the details.

Had a great time at The Sipping Plant! Definitely good for a girls night out, you can bring your own food and drinks to enjoy while the staff walks you through putting together your succulent arrangement. I am notorious for killing all plants I bring home, but with the tips from the staff on how often to water them, my succulents have been thriving for weeks! Definitely recommend checking out this place!

Tons of fun! The staff is very friendly. If youre not a painter or sip more than you paint, come here for a relaxing way to he creative without possibly messing up your project! No stress to be like instructor or that one super artsy person next to you. My son and I wrnt for the succulents. Wouldnt mind trying the string art some time.

Myself and a few other ladies went for string art which we all really enjoyed. There were several options to choose from when selecting a wood background, template designs and string color. All string art artists (customers) are given two hours to complete their artwork. Two hours does seem sufficient. But if you choose a tedious design template, it can/will take longer than two hours unless you are a pro at string art. My negative for doing string art at the Sipping Plant is that you are not given enough string to go home with to complete your design. Besides that, the host was excellent and friendly. I might go back but I prefer to buy all of my own materials and do string art at home.

I cannot say enough good things about this place! Love the atmosphere, I love that you can bring wine and the person teaching the class was so awesome and helpful! I had a blast! Such a fun thing to do!!!

Went up to Atlanta to visit a friend and found this event on group on. Never came across it before and went in clueless. It was a good relax evening with a friend. Highly recommend this place for a light relaxed evening to spend. Definitely would come back in the future if able too. Instructor was amazing, willing to help any way possible.

Fun unique date that my wife and I really enjoyed. They walk you through the process so its hard to mess up. We got a good deal through Groupon.

I had a great time. It was easy and fun and the place was beautiful. The only downside is that it is a bit pricey. Even with a coupon (which I strongly suggest you have) you have to pay an additional 13 for supplies. All in all, not a bad way to spend an afternoon.

Great date night location.

Bought a groupon to the Sipping Plant for me and my two adult daughters. Had a fun afternoon. There are many options for containers ranging from small (for one plant) to larger containers. We all chose the hanging, glass bowl so, we got to choose three small plants or one large & one small. Of course, you could purchase more if youd like. The instructor was very helpful and guided us step by step through the process. Plus, we were able to bring food and drinks. Id advise getting there a little early to eat though since it gets kind of messy. Overall, a great experience. I would recommend.

I purchased a Groupon for this place and did not realize it would be nearly an addition $11 supply fee. I definitely do not feel like it is a $33 value. I feel like the place could have made it so much more fun, they were not very friendly for what seems like a relatively new business. There was another table there when we were there and they had first choice on plants and accessories. It definitely felt like we were second fiddle. We had a birthday and she should have gave the birthday girl a special accessory or made some sort of fuss. I do not see this business lasting long if they do not improve their customer service. I really hope they do though and maybe take my review as some constructive criticism, instead of being offended. Word of mouth advertisement can be a businesses best friend or worst enemy. I told at least 15 people I was going to this place and when they ask me if I would return and said no that means they probably wont go and will tell people they know not to go. It is a big investment at $34 a piece for a night to feel unappreciated by a business. I will definitely not return.

My wife and I came here on a date last week and we both had a blast. We brought our own wine and snacks. My wife made a terrarium and I did a string art. We are both proudly displaying our creations at the house.

This is a scam. My husband and I bought Groupons for this - $25 apiece (down from $45 apiece). It was a little expensive, but what a cute idea. Worth it, right? Not so much. Because they charged us an extra $10/person plus tax for a materials fee. It would have cost us $75 to do this. There is no way that supplies for one terrarium would cost $37.50. What exactly was the $25 for in the first place if not the materials? They were already making a nice profit with $25/person. I spoke to the owner, and she said there was nothing she could do. She returned my money, but I had to go through Groupon to get the rest of my money back, which I almost couldnt do because I viewed the voucher. Yup, you guessed it, I HAD to view the voucher to make the reservation. This is a scam. You can buy all the materials you need for this at Lowes or Wal-Mart (I actually found some of the same glassware there) for around $15 if you go all out. My advice: buy the materials yourself along with a 6-pack and just stay home.

Highly recommend! Fun experience. I will be back.
