I really love this area. It’s nice and close in which has pluses and minuses. Love taking trails up to the top. Great views and nice workout. Beautiful trails. Love the ability to bring our leashed pups. Therein lies the reason for only three stars. Our pups always leashed (too much to chase) really don’t like being run up upon by uncontrolled off leash dogs. It says at the beginning of the trails “please keep dogs on leash”. It’s also a city of Ashland law. Why do some/many think it doesn’t apply to their “oh he’s friendly” dog?

My favorite place to hike in Ashland. 20 minutes in and you could be miles away from civilization, Its so secluded and quiet. You can do a short hike 20 mins in and 20 mins out with kids, or you can explore for hours!

Excellent park. Get ready for a uphill jaunt before you begin. The trailhead is accessed up a private drive with no close parking! Otherwise perfect. Streams with footbridge and well maintained paths.

I would maybe rate this trail as a 4, just because some of the signage was a bit confusing. However, this was one of the best hikes ever because there is a friendly trail dog named Heath who roams around. Today, he chose us as his hiking companions as he guided us through our travels. If you are lucky enough to meet Heath, know that he has a strong affinity for pinecones and playing fetch with them.

It made my day when my dog Baxter and I were out looking for a little adventure and stumbled upon this place. Its beautiful, dog friendly, and close to town. If youre looking for a quick little serene getaway to decompress for a few this is the spot. Will see be coming back here!

Found this park by searching maps on a road trip. It was a much needed break after driving for too many hoursWe could only spare about 90 minutes before hitting the road again. Lucky locals to have this trail system where you can spend hours on well maintained trails.

A great place to hike, trail run and take your dogs. Small creeks run through the lower sections that are great for kids and dogs. The upper sections get steep and are more exposed, but still plenty of shade. A lot of good trails allows you to hike a mile or up to 10!

Oredson Todd woods is a beautiful place for all ages. Would be a great place to take your family for some scenery. It’s located in town so you don’t have to drive far to reach the woods, but it’s far from city view. Would return again and would recommend to anybody who loves nature. A little bit steep at first but overall an easy walk.

This is a nice trail, convenient to town. Plenty of flora and fauna to observe! The issue I have with this trail is the volume of dog poop that people allow to be left on the trail. It is DISGUSTING. Seriously, if I had counted how many piles of poo were on the trail yesterday, I would not have had time to do anything else. I think its great to have dog friendly trails, but GOOD LORD! THIS IS NOT FRIENDLY TO ANY SPECIES! Dog poop really does transmit disease. Its not the dogs responsibility... you know your dog is pooping and you need to clean it up.

I went out here to MTB and I had a blast this is definitely a trail that will test your comfort and skill the narlyest downgrade at the Cheshire Cat. with rock gardens, berms and decent jumps on your way around to and from.and I have heard there is Alices wonderland and more trails off of this so yeah its a great spot.

Great hiking woods for everyone. Hiking w/ dogs is popular but still great hiking w/o 4-legged friends. Mostly shaded. Mostly flat terrain along creek. Leaving creek, hiking is upward & challenging. Hiking in am is more shaded while mid-day/eve is very hot in summer. Hiking is in dense pine & madrone woods. Hike White Rabbit trail, continue past dwnwrd steps sign warning poison oak (keep hiking up) to quiet private bench & enjoy a birds eye view of Ashland & vicinity.
