Somebody paying for good reviews. All the reviews I seen so far is from Spanish people hyping up a club with really nothing to offer Asheville. Just a trick to get people to come in a club that is overrated. So someone is getting paid to do reviews . So just by reading those who has negative responses theyre correct.

Some of these other reviews are crazy. It’s waaay worth the $10 cover charge and they have nights where ladies are free. Drink prices are average, the music is great, and all of the staff are amazing. The security’s always on top of their game. The owners are so sweet & down to earth. It’s always a good time at paradox.

A fantastic night club in the city of Asheville! If you are looking for something fun to do on the weekends, this is the place to go! Everyone from the owner, to the bartenders, to the security are down to earth, professional, and nice! If you want something a little more upscale than your local dive bar, Paradox is the place to go! Drinks are priced fairly, and the atmosphere is excellent for a night out with friends. We have been here twice. We usually go out of town. There are lots of hip hop clubs in Greenville SC and other cities. Asheville doesnt really have anything though. The night clubs cater to people who listen to techno or rock.... Whatever. They act like their scared to play hip hop. Its racist pretty much. So moving on to the Paradox. I like the club. It is an actual hip hop club in Asheville. The DJ was great the 1st and 2nd time. I didnt like the live band because they were playing old music right when the club got packed. They did switch back to the DJ and people started dancing. I would have given 5 stars. I do reviews all over.... Not just in Asheville. The problem is we payed for VIP tickets to see Ashanti. By the way someone ask a question is the group Ashanti showing up... Lol. Ashanti is one person not a group. So we got there at 10pm when they opened and found out that Ashanti would not be there due to some kind of mix up. The people with paper tickets were given immediate refunds. Ourselves and some others bought our tickets online so we were told we had to wait on the event planner... Angela.... to get there. That is not right. We should not have had to wait on our refund. It wasnt our fault. Thats the clubs responsibility. We didnt get our money back until 1:45am. We got it from the front after a bunch of people had payed their cover charge. We saw the event planner once at 12 ish am and she was not back by 2am when we left. I spoke to the owner when we got there and then at 10:30 when she was supposed to be there and again later. We were planning on staying at the club and paying the $15 cover charge and we did. We bought drinks the whole time. The owner became a little rude the 3rd time I ask about getting our money back. Mind you this is his club and his responsibility. He said he gave us a choice if we wanted to stay. We had to stay because we were told thats the only way we were getting our money back. We had to wait on the event planner. That is not right. Its not good business. He also said trust me we dont want your money. Really? Pride always cometh before the fall. You dont talk to paying customers that way just because your club got some people in it. We really wanted this to be a place we could come to in Asheville but Im not sure now. I feel totally disrespected. There is no way we should have had to wait 4 hours to get our money back. No way I should have been spoken to that way. The fact is they did have our money. We dont mind paying for the club... But we dont owe for an artist who didnt show up. Yeah we got our money back.... 4 hours and some insulting words later. As I said I would have given 5 stars but you dont treat your customers that way. And we never wanted to be in VIP with Carly Redd... Who by the way... Was not there at 2am when we left. The club closes at 2am so when was she supposed to show up? I thought we had found a hip hop club in Asheville finally.

The reviews on here are skewed. The owner was on Facebook offering deals to boost his club star rating. Although everyone has their own opinion of the club but the majority of these reviews are only posted so that someone can get a free drink or free admission into the club. The Paradox charges $6 for a bud light when most bars downtown charge at least $3 so you cant honestly say this place is way overpriced. If you have to bag people on social media and offer deals just to get good reviews for your business than business is obviously just not good.

Had so much fun that lost track of time. In my opinion the best place in town. Great music, and amazing positive staff!!!

I know for a fact that the owner of the Paradox club is paying and offering deals at the club for good reviews for his business. This club is not what they make it up to I know from first-hand experience so be mindful when reading these ”reviews”.

Definitely the hottest club in Asheville!!!! I always have a blast! Prices are definitely fair and the staff has always been friendly to me and my friends. I recommend this place before anywhere else. I dance my butt off every time lol can’t wait to see what else they come up with! Definitely a great start keep it up

Drinks are not over priced as I saw in another review. Everyone I have talked to here has been extremely nice and it’s the #1 spot in Asheville. The sound system is phenomenal!!!!

No AC? Place so dang hot its impossible to enjoy yourself. Been 2 weekends in a row and about passed out. Dont go dressed up or bother to do your hair the moment you hit the door its a done deal. Paid to see Ying Yang and couldnt enjoy myself due to the heat. People running for the one small fan close to the door. This place didnt evan earn the 1 star I had to push in order to leave this review.

Reading these reviews they must be paid to write them. The bouncers were the most rude for no reason to my friends and I when we were trying to leave the club because it was SO bad. I could not even enjoy myself in this venue. Honestly wish I could give this place no stars. There was not one good thing about this club. As a local of Asheville I felt like I was in a foreign place.

Bouncers were actually nice, i feel like my best friend should of got in for free,10.00 for everyone to get in we stayed for like 10 mins at the most, i feel like ashvilles bar scene sucks, we could of went to myrtle beach and had a way better experience.

Place is really awesome. Definitely something new that AVL needed in the club aspect. Also the crew/security is really nice. The VIP section is really sweet. Also good choices of music/DJ’s.

On Latin nights. . it needs to be more latino.. more color. more lights. and more promotion. I ran sky night club in miami.. I knw wat I mean

Very disappointed. Me and my girls paid money for a VIP table and ended up not staying long. The spanish music wasnt what we were expecting on a Saturday night. I went up to dj with some money trying to request some songs and he was rude. So I took my 8 friends and went somewhere else. To say the least we will never return.

Asheville had nothing until paradox it’s accepting of everyone and has great service all around. Love the fact that Thursday’s are college night, Friday’s are Latin night but everyone is invited to go all nights (18+ on Thursday)

The infrastructure of Paradox is just the start of its issues. The ceiling leaks whenever it rains, so don’t be surprised if you’re suddenly covered in water. The drinks are overpriced, and one of the bartenders will stop serving you if you ask for change. Security is a mess and started asking for IDs again halfway through the night. The music was subpar and the crowd was weird. I have a feeling most of these reviews are fake or paid for by the owner considering the amount of 1-star reviews that he claims are fake news.

This place is AWESOME!!! Asheville needed a REAL nightclub!!! Great vibes, great music, awesome bar and I seriously cant wait to go back and party!!

Whenever I’m in town I love going to paradox

Went there last night because we saw an ad for the place on instagram and it looked interesting. Got there at 1230 and there was no one in line which made us question if it was even worth paying $10 to get in. Still we decided to try it out. After paying the $10 entrance fee we walk in to the club to a disappointing site of maybe around 20 ppl in a huge room. We immediately turned around and asked for our money back but were denied even though we were only inside for a few mins. I understand that this is a new club, but the promotion for this place is obviously lacking.

Its new, so a little unpolished, but hoping for the best. Will review again in a couple months.

I’m an Asheville native and this place is awesome! And some of these negitive comments are ignorant lol of course your going to have dead nights just as a restaurant or any job really you have busy nights as well. Clearly someone young or in experience left those. And prices are fair. Anyways the guys and me really enjoyed our selfs and glad the bartenders are fast . Had a blast will definitely be back with more people ! About time Asheville had a place for ppl like me who like rap/r&b and a chill environment

Went there last night paid for 3 friends to get in except one never went in and had left to get her wallet she had dropped, my other friend and I left within 5 minutes anways i was denied reimbursement for my friend who never went in however, which doesn’t make any sense.
