Excellent place to visit to learn about the local historical industry and how Asheville became an Art town

We enjoyed a private tour of Biltmore industries. Incredibly interesting for everyone in my group, and as a spinner and weaver I found the entire tour spell binding. Asheville has a tremendous amount of history and the museums are free. I strongly recommend that you visit this one.

Its an amazing place to see how cloth was made and dyed and the tour is free.

Great place to learn about the history of textiles and local leaders. Free history tours, Wed-Sat at 1pm, that take you through the old dye house which has lots of old machinery.
