As a local Asheville wedding coordinator, I love working with the Country Club of Asheville. They are super easy to work with and provide such a lovely space for a bridal couple to get married. Liz the event & catering manager is awesome, as are the rest of the staff. With beautifully manicured greens, a fantastic ballroom reception area, and delicious in-house catering what is not to love!

Course was in great shape however, SOME of the members need a course on golf etiquette! They drive their electric push carts onto the next tee box when your are on the tee hitting off and they are playing the previous hole! That is only one example of the absolutely rude group behind us. They hit into us, were laughing and carrying on on the greens when people (my group) were on the ter box box not more than 20 yards away. They may be members but they should be removed until they take a golf etiquette course. If you want to play with obnoxious members, this is the place to play!This is totally unacceptable anywhere much less this prestigious club.

As an Asheville native and Wedding Coach & Stylist, this venue is such a great setting for a wedding of all sizes and styles. It has a beautiful ceremony site on the golf course with the mountains as the backdrop for saying I Do, a fabulous ballroom fit with a perfect dancefloor, and terrace is a dream to soak it all in! The staff are helpful, friendly, and most of all: genuinely care about you and your person!

Wonderful venue for the fall wedding of our daughter! Liz and the entire staff were so great to work with. From the food to the last dance it was perfect! Beautiful setting for the event and comfortable environment for the entire day! I will recommend to all of our friends and family!!

Classic top notch facility. Tough rolling greens

Having our wedding at the Country Club of Asheville was a fantastic experience! We held both our ceremony and reception there. Liz, the Director of Events at the Country Club, was our main contact and she was great to work with. She was exceptionally quick in her response time and she offered a wealth of valuable event-planning expertise that helped us plan the perfect day! Liz and the entire Country Club staff were helpful, friendly, and professional. The location is also great. Its really easy for guests to get to and from the Country Club, which is just outside downtown Asheville. We held our ceremony outdoors on the green, which provided AMAZING views! The Country Club provides catering on-site, and all our guests have commented on how delicious the food was. The Country Club also offers child care on site, which was a great option for our out-of-town guests. I would definitely recommend the Country Club for other folks planning their wedding!

This place is incredible. The chef makes exquisite dishes that give any high end Asheville restaurant a run for the money. The golf is even better as the course is always in excellent condition. Awesome course for long hitters. Walk the front and ride the back if you want some light exercise. The gym clean and all the machines are updated models. Im happy as can be with every piece of this operation.

Great golf and plenty of views. Very scenic as the course winds around a village and most holes back onto the back yards of the neighboring houses. I would and will definitely play this course again when we are back on our next vacation in NC.

It was a great trip.i was a guest of a member, but u wouldnt have guessed they treated me like i was a member my self.i have been a bunch last year and extra exited to go bck this weekend.hit the pool up and get few shoots with the best chicken casodea.

Excellent food at the clubhouse however the course has very undulated greens and some of the fairways dont look like theyre healthy.

Really like the open feel of the renovation. the way the greens are constructed limits where you can do pin placements, but still a first class course!

A wonderful place to play golf with a traditional fun, challenging course. Don’t look for any easy putts as the new greens have plenty of undulations and slopes.

Great course and clubhouse!

Everyone at CC of AVL is so accommodating. We are members at Wakefield, another McConnell property, but we have visited CC of AVL twice now and have enjoyed the fitness facility and the dining. I havent played tennis there yet, but facility looks nice. Im not a golfer, so i cant speak to that aspect.

Great course and layout. Brutally slow 5.5 hour round and with no ranger. Be very careful when you play here.

This is a fun spot. Service and atmosphere was good and food was great. Get the brisket sandwich!
