This place has gorgeous, unique pieces! Definitely worth a walkthrough, even if you dont want anything.They have this tall, really GORGEOUS raku coral sculpture! Its also almost $6600. Trust me to love the most expensive item in the store!They also had two really awesome molten glass vases on teak! These were broad, shallow ones. I have never seen this shape before!They had an Indian carved door what was really beautiful! I bet its really heavy. .I love how they have hung birch logs from the ceiling! Thats a really awesome idea!

Kim have helped me decorate two of my houses over the years with K2 furniture and my husband have also bought furniture from K2 in the past before we got married. The quality and style are amazing. K2 provides excellent service. My 4 years old daughter love the store. My house is 100% furniture and decorated but I still stop by the store if I am in downtown to check what is new and to say hello to Kim and her wonderful staff. My wife and I love K2 Furniture. We have worked with Kim for the last five months selecting furniture for our home. Kim has been extremely helpful with design tips and helping us picture what our space should look like based on our decorating goals. Recently Kim was in the area working with another customer and stopped by our house to look at our space first hand. Seeing our home allowed Kim to help us visualize what furniture would fit well into our space. Kim has also been a great resource researching everything from a desk and bookshelf for my wifes office space to kitchen chairs and barstools. I highly recommend Kim and K2 furniture for your interior decorating needs...its a great store.

Kim and her staff are design professionals! With their expert guidance, I was able to purchase a beautiful and sturdy sectional couch custom-made for my living room. The process of selecting furniture style, construction, fabric and dimensions is a challenging one for normal mortals. The folks at K2 Studio made the experience pleasant and satisfying.

This store is awesome! The owner has an amazing way of finding the most off-beat things that you have to have in your house. So you come to Asheville for some art and restaurants an leave re-decorating your house because you hadnt even know things like this existed.

We first found K2 about 4 years ago and instantly fell in love with the selection and the staff. The furniture is of such high quality and the staff are warm and very knowledgable. We have bought several pieces over the years and have always been so satisfied with the products and the service. We especially appreciate the focus on supporting North Carolina manufacturers and artists. Having been so pleased with them over the years, we recently asked the to help us furnish a new home that we just built. For months they worked with us, never pushing us to select anything we werent completely satisfied with, always helping us to find what we liked best. When the house was ready, they even traveled to help us get everything set up! The final result is beyond what we ever could have hoped for. Our family and friends are constantly commenting on how beautiful the furniture and other items K2 provided for us are. We highly recommend K2! They are truly the best!

I have to agree with the other reviewers regarding bringing your children in to this store. Then to read the stores canned responses replying to a negative post also shows their complete lack of sincerity. The other big issue we have is that the ramp to go inside the store is always blocked with large pieces of furniture or boxes. Their excuse is always moving stuff around or a large shipment has JUST come in. Weve seen people with strollers, wheelchairs and individuals with walking disabilities come into the store over and over again to find the ramp blocked. The last time we were in the store someone in a wheelchair came in and couldnt get down the blocked ramp. The sales manager simply said oh sorry, come back another day. We were about to buy a large piece of furniture and left right behind the young lady in the wheelchair. It was too upsetting. Weve also called the local ADA chapter to inform them of the many times weve been into this store and this ongoing issue. Again the lack of sincerity to families with children (well behaved children, mind you) and to those with disabilities trying to have a look around are two reasons we havent gone back.

Great costumer service, Amazing quality merchandise Beautiful space

I absolutely LOVE the table I purchased through K2 Studio. Finding the perfect dinning room table to fit in a cabin from the 1800s was no easy task. But after carefully listening to my ideas, Kim, the owner of K2 Design and her staff showed me a table in their showroom that could be customized to the dimensions I needed. It would not only accommodate our ever-expanding family (which now includes 11 grandkids!) but it also has the exact elements of rustic elegance that we were going for. David, who designed, built and delivered the table even put a plaque underneath with all our grandchildrens names engraved on it. We are so very grateful to the very talented Kim, her staff and David for this beautiful & unique table that our family will enjoy and cherish for years!

Like their look. A little pricey for me

Leave your kids outside!!! I guess this is what the staff expects. They had beautiful furniture and was one of the most unique furniture stores Ive seen but we were scolded not once but twice by the employee working there. The first time my 3 year old trotted about 7 steps, a distance between my husband and I, and the lady rudely said, theres no running in the store. After which, she must have been watching us like a hawk, my 11 year old (who is one of the most well behaved children youll ever meet) touched a large wire sculpture and the lady squawked dont touch that! I quickly responded that we would leave. Ive never been treated so badly in any establishment EVER. It was our first visit to Asheville and we were otherwise very impressed by the town, and this store seemed very out of place with the vibe I felt otherwise.
