Amazing skatepark with features for any level skater. Rails are perfect. Euro gaps. Hips. Stairs. Bowls. Mini ramps. Everything you could want is here!
Really nice park. Very large and smooth. Nice people usually.
The park is huge with a variety of ramps, bowls, and ledges of all shapes and sizes to skate. Snake run is well design and really fun. Through out the park is unique obstacles and elements that made me think about different ways to skate them. The park is clean and the concrete is high quality as it is a Payne park.
A super fun beginner/intermediate skate park! Great location. Next to lots of other activities for the whole family. Like soccer, basketball, tennis, and playgrounds. Located conveniently next to bathrooms and a water fountain! Only thing to be wary on is to be on the look out for unfriendly skater bois who think they own the park.
I think this is the best skatepark in the whole Denver metro area the only con is that it get so crowded most of the time other tan that pretty much have a little bit of everything for skaters bmx and scooters
Amazing layout and things to hit at every skill level. Loved it!
Its an amazing park, but almost always too crowded to enjoy it to its potential.
Been here a few times with friends even though I dont skate. But as an ex bmxer its one of the coolest parks in Colorado. Super well kept and lots of good people. Not a lot of gatekeepers there.
Best Ive been too yet!!!! My son thinks so too!! Super chill
One of the best skateparks in the Denver area gets very crowded at times though
This place was very cool to check out. As a skater, its a must. People from all over the world come here to skate, it is so huge that its hard to actually be stopped by another skater. Very friendly people who just want to skate! It was VERY hot here when we came in July, so bring your water! They have a shaded area to sit and cool down at with benches and a grass area to play in too. Some very deep bowls so be aware! If we are near the area we will b back again!
Love this place went here for so many years and it never got old
Great park. Good mixture of transition, street, and park features.
This is my favorite skatepark in Colorado. Stop closing skateparks for Covid. This doesnt make sense. Its how some of us get our exercise and outdoor time. You cant skate without being 6 feet apart and we all worked to get this park here. Plus people jog and run and walk and lay out all around the skatepark without getting yelled at. Just because you dont like it doesnt mean it should be shut down.
The bees knees? Cats pajamas? Bring a sleeping bag. Youll never wanna leave this spot. Team Pain does it again
Extremely pack but always a fun park
One of my favorite places to skate in Colorado. Hands down.
Sooooooo sick nasrty. Especially for riding on the ground (I do wheelies sometimes).
Perfect park and even more the place its located.
A great place to spend some time with my grandson. Out in the fresh air and, its free!
Park is terrible for kids
Had SOOOO MUCH FUN here a few Summers ago with one of my favorite girlfriends and her little girl. Love the sprinklers!
Theres a lot of illegal things that happen here but overall its good
I looove this park, it is big and has many areas for different skilled riders. Just be a bit careful of the amount of people and most importantly scooter kids.
Amazing park! Has bowls, rails, hubbas, stairs, manual pads
Clean, very well maintained. Great variety of areas to skate. Sometimes there are a bunch of little punks on scooters hanging out there that are super rude to other people
One of the best skateparks in Colorado, hands down! Sometimes over run by scooter kids who’s parents don’t teach how to watch where they’re going, take turns, or not to get in peoples way; but super fun. Has amazing flow. And a couple bowls for the people who like skating bowls.
Great big skate park! Good terrain for beginners.
Nice skate park something for everyone. And they have a water fountain!
My son loved this park as it was rather large... it is crowded..
Pretty good
Arvada Skate Park is a kid friendly park near the apex rec center. Overall, I really enjoy this park, it has a lot of features for many levels of experience. On weekends it is usually very crowded after about 11, and can sometimes be dangerous for younger kids. In addition, there is often loud music and cannabis use, but for the most part it is not NEARLY as sketchy as Denver Skatepark. A very cool place, and the features include a pool bowl, snake run, spine bowl, small bowl, many rails, ledges, and marble slabs to ride, and a street section with a nice hubba and A-frame.
Best snake run in town! Great transitions to boot. If you want a great place to ride your bike, this is a mellow park for all experience levels.
Big park with a lot of everything.
It is fun lots of big jumps and bowls but around 11 or so during the summer 30-40 little kids come around and clogs up the skatepark and makes t boring
Such a huge park with something to skate for every level
Maybe the nicest skatepark I’ve ever been to. Love that it opens early so you can beat the crowds and have the park to yourself.
This skatepark is amazing. I love it so much. I learn so much when ever I go their$$$
One of the best skateparks I have been to
Nice clean spot.Kids and grownups was having a good time while I was there.I dont skate but it was fun watching the upcoming star at this place.
36 out of 30 Stars
Best park in coloraso
Great park with tons of unique features to hit
This place is so fun in my opinion if not the best one of the best skate parks in all Colorado lot of places and things to skate or jump over I would really recommend there are good vibes all around not a lot of hate or bad thing that go on there but I would definitely go again and again.
Big park with fun stuff to hit
We had fun at Arvada skate park:)
A great skatepark. All ages and visitors are generally very respectful of one another, take turns on the bowls, etc. Can be packed during peak hours though.
This is the nicest skatepark I have ever been to (Ive been to all parks with in 60 miles of Denver and all major parks around SF and LA- Poods is a close second). Its huge, it has awesome rock and granite features, plus the hugest snake run I have ever seen. Must go for street skaters, there is few bowls that seem cool but thats not my forte
Great park! My child fell in love with this skate park from the first day I brought him. Today on February 11, I brought him back to the park. The park was littered. Empty soda bottles were laying around everywhere around the park, not mentioning the cigarette buds. On top of it, two adults came skateboarding and drinking bear at the same time. One was standing and smoking cigarette around young kids. I am not sure if I want to take him back because the crowd looks pretty rough there.
Killer park
Most awesome skatepark ever. Usually watch my son skate or BMX there, but I’ve also tooled around on scooters with my daughter. Snake run is my favorite but the entire park is fantastic. We’ve been to dozens of skateparks from Kona to Venice Beach. Arvada is World Class.
Nice park but to crowded
My kids love to skate here
Pretty good park.
Best in Colorado
Coolest skateboard park there is in Denver area
Huge skatepark lots of room to skate. Also there is a lot of street and vert all levels of skaters. Good for skaters and scooters, of all levels.
My old a$$ was walking my dog, but the skate park is amazing!
This is a great skatepark but look out for the occasional snaker squad but otherwise this is a great park. the skaters are respectful to the scooter riders so all is good
The most amazing skate park I have ever seen. So much creativity in every square inch. It is literally a work of art.
Amazing park when there are little to no scooters
Best skate park for kids and families. We love this park.
One of the best skateparks I been to! So much to skate and do plus the rec center is right next door!
Nice snake run! Love its layout . Lots of scooters and scooter moms
Tim Paynes greatest creation
Kids have fun. Boards, scooters, bikes, you name it. Right next to Apex Center.
Good people good vibe good times are had by all... Yep.
Favorite skate park! So many obstacles, basically a gym for feet wheelers, and bikes.
I scooter and bile here great for any level skater. I highly recommend this park!!!
Excellently maintained skate park in a great area. Please advise your kids to be conscientious with their expensive equipment and secure it as there is a risk of theft.
One of the best parks Ive ever ridden. So rad!
Loved it. Lots of great options for skating.
Pretty great park. But apparently vehicle break ins happen often here.
Super awesome and varied skatepark. Seems to attract a lot of stuck up riders/skaters though. I dont recommend going to this park if you are a beginner due to the relatively complex flow of this skatepark. You have to sort of study the lines so you dont get in others way. Can be dangerous and a lot of the younger/experienced participants have something to prove.
Best skatepark around.
Amazing park best in the west
Looks like endless options for tricks.
Best skate park around.
Arvada Skate Park features multiple bowls, a flow course, a half pipe and a mixed street-course with ramps, blocks, stairs and rails.
I love it so much execpt the girl
Great skate park! Lots of room!
I go to this park about once a week, sometimes more. The scene is typical, nothing too crazy, if anything, Arvada Apex skatepark is more laid back than most places. Not many locals go here to just hangout, which is nice. Its a skatepark and is used as such. The layout is ok. Lots of open space in the center of the park with a couple small features thrown in, which makes cruising through the center somewhat sketchy. You have to be aware of your surroundings. One section of the park has a bunch of small features, which are fun and good for beginners. The bowls are all nice, except for the boob bowl, which is a little too open and flat for my taste.Arvada skatepark is usually pretty busy. If you are in the area, go to it. Im not sure I would drive more than 20 miles though to skate this park.
Arvada Skatepark is a very large, free-access skatepark adjacent to the Apex Center. There is a fairly large parking lot for the skatepark separate from the Apex Center parking. With a great mix of street, vert, and transition, skateboarders, in-line skaters, BMX riders, and scooter riders alike can all find great lines to ride and trick on. With a massive snake run, 3 bowls, a small half pipe, and a ton of banks, rails, and manny pads, the Arvada Skatepark can accomodate for all kinds of riding and skill levels. The rules are clearly posted and fairly simple, and the lights are on until 10pm. The park can be semi-crowded at times, and occasionally smaller children may be in the way, but the park is usually fairly empty by the time it gets dark out, while the lights allow people to stay until 10.
Its good
Best skate park in the metro area.
My favorite skatepark in the metro area.
