Fun park in Arlington. Hreat climbing structure for older kids, as well as smaller areas for tots. Public bathrooms are here, plus basketball and soccer fields. Street parking is available nearby and we have never had a problem finding parking.

It was an ok park. A little too busy for my liking and its really not toddler friendly. The main part of the playground is more for older kids, above 5 years old, and the toddler playground was geared more for younger kids, infant to 2 year olds. My 3 year old didnt find much to do besides the swings. Parking was a bit hard to find as well since the park was crowded. Lots of sitting areas for parents though and there are facilities on site if needed.

Very cool park. My kids love park with climbing structures and thus one tops their list. There is also a basketball court and a soccer/football field. There are sidewalks perfect for scooters or roller blades. There is a small area of the park for toddlers and there is so a picnic shelter, bathrooms and water fountains.

I like Rocky Run Park. I think its a great to exercise the athleticism of older kids, and to provide them a more of challenging obstacle course than your standard playground. The big kid playground primarily consists of a ropes course and the fort at the top with a big slide attached. they have a couple of swing that would accommodate multiple children, but again, not your standard slang. This is the swing where they would lay on it and other kids would push them.As far as the smaller childrens playground for ages 5 and under, it has more simplistic features with baby swings and musical structures for them to play with, a sand box, and little cars with springs for them to rock back and worth on.The money definitely went more towards the bigger kids playground, then the little kids playground. Nonetheless, theyll have just as good of a time. There is a soccer turf field, basleyball court, and bathrooms on site too. Overall 4 stars.

Great contraption for kids 5-12 years old to climb the rope, walk up the hanging bridge or walk the plank ... the reward is at the very top-sliding all the way down! The round shape swings were awesome too. There is another small playground for younger kids.

This is by far one of the best dry cleaners in Arlington. Jerry and his family have run this place fairly and honestly for 20+ years. We did have a bit of a run-in once when his 80 year old mother insisted I use starch on my pants when I explicitly asked not to. I told her that starch irritates my inner thighs. I have a common skin condition that causes dryness in that region. The basketball courts are nice too.

This is a great park for a range of ages. Little kids have an age appropriate playground. Older kids have a more challenging climbing area, and there is space for scooters and flat green areas for sports. Popular with locals, but also a couple blocks from courthouse metro station.

This is a really great park but it is weird that they traded a sand pit for a bark pit. I think part of that ties in with my largest complaint of the park which is the restrooms need to be maintained better, one was completely closed when we were there and the other smelled terrible. So from what I can tell the parks service needs to maintain this amazing playground more frequently.

This is a great park, but you have to be little or able to climb the huge structure. My daughter is two and in between being able to climb the big structure with help and without help. other areas such as oak Grove and even fairlington you can help the little kids but in this case you really have to be able to do it on your own still great park.

The rope climbing set up is rather dangerous for younger kids, but as you know kids like to try things, and the slide is so great... But difficult to get to and really high up. I had my 3&1/2 yr old on my back and climbed him up the ropes, but I wouldnt suggest it in general. The other kids stuff is ok, not a great park but better than nothing. The roller section could be expanded and have a bit more options. There are many other better parks. Harrison St. Park rocks for kids of all ages!

Also, some dogs were on leads/leashes. Children of all ages, about 5 yrs. to 12 yrs. Next time, well bring a ball and play some hoops or football at the adjoining field. This is a great park, as evidenced by the fact that its always jam packed. Thats actually the only reason I didnt give it 5 stars -- its almost TOO busy, especially if you have a kid under 1. The park has all sorts of things for kids to climb up, slide down, and swing on, and behind the play area theres a massive circular soccer field where kids are always playing soccer or flag football. Theres also a basketball court and little area for parents to do some resistence training while their kids run around and get the crazy out.
