Me and my family went to this park for the first time today. We had a good time walking around and enjoying the cloudy and cool weather today. My daughter couldn’t play in the playground today because it was raining a little bit. We are definitely coming back when the weather is warmer and sunny. This park was very clean and well maintained. Recommend!
Really nice paved trails and dirt trails. On the dirt trails it feels like you are in a deep forest yet you can look over and see the paved pathways and houses.
Out of the way. Quiet. Nice lake with ducks and geese. Play equipment for kids. Very impressed with quality of womens bathroom. Well maintained.
Awesome park and great paved trails! Fun for the family. Dont forget to bring the dog!
Such a hidden treasure. It seems small but once you start walking the trails you will find yourself surrounded by nature, beautiful trees and small streams.
Nice place to relax and catch the big bass .I caught two one was five pounds and the other one was 3 pounds.
Very nice park in a good area too. Very family oriented
Great place for pictures and good Park perfect little balance of everything needed
Very good park, we enjoy everytime we come here. The only thing is the pond needs to be cleaned now.
Be nicer if they took time to clean the pond. Nasty
Nice open spaced park with walking trail, woodsy trails, playground, and small fishing pond. Lots of space to social distance here.
One of my families favorite parks in Arlington. Beautiful, peaceful and serene.
Great park! Very quiet. Very clean. Not crowded at all. Park has an area to play baseball or football. No bleachers. The park has slides and swings. Picnic tables and trash cans. There is plenty of parking and has male/female restrooms. Park has a walking trail and wildlife. We saw ducks and turtles but is posted for other wildlife. Great place to take family picnics. No entry fee.
Nice Clean park very busy..
Nice tucked away park for family...The pond needs some help though.
Nice Rush Creek Trail end place
Happened to be in a new area and googled local parks so my little one could burn off a little energy. My son chose the park after seeing a large slide posted on the website. The park was easy to find, located just off Cooper St. Ample parking, a pond with large geese and a fountain is immediately to your right beside the playarea. Theres a jungle gym for smaller kids first and the larger one is adjacent. The large red slide is up high and lobg so it attracts the kids. Theres also a green slide and the jungle gym is enclosed on the 2nd and 3rd levels so kids are safe.Seems another main attractraction is a large climbing rock directly beside the jungle gym. The kids all gravitated toward it. Bike paths were directly along side of the playarea and so were plenty of benches to watch your children. Parents can sit under the shade or in the open area and before you depart go walk to the pond which has an enclosed area with benches to view the fountain, geese, baby turtles and wildlife surrounding it. My kiddo didnt want to leave. Its a nice place to enjoy an afternoon. My phone died while there so long so I didnt get to take a couple photos but my son had a blast riding his bike, playing with kids and hanging out around the pond. Memories. :-)
Trails and the playground are the best. Park is always clean. Trails. Basketball court. Open fields.
Great scenery. Clean grounds.
Great park very nice for family
Beautiful and clean park it is kind of hidden and not too many people
Nice and quiet, could use some improvements
Its a park with out door trails.
Can take my dogs with me and the kiddos Im watching. Family can get together and have a picnic. My brogher and I can go workout on the walking trail. Very beautiful walking trail and sometimes you take the trail to the neighborhood where the peacocks live.
Great place to walk the dogs. Lots of green space. And ducks at the pond to watch.
It is set in a quiet area and plenty of shade trees to sit under and relax the day away
Nice place to relax or bring the kids/grandkids. Bring some 1/2 grapes for the ducks
It was very peaceful
Beautiful park whith fun, short trails and a pond.
This park is truly a hidden treasure within the heart of Arlington. Theres big Open Fields, playground equipment, theres even a little tank in which you can go fishing. There restrooms on site and plenty of friendly people there all hours of the day. Highly recommended if youre in the area
We love walking at this park and just having family time! They have a pond so you can feed ducks and see other cute animals.
This park is awesome!Personally, I like to zip to this park and feed the ducks, hit a pokie gym, and enjoy the wildlife. The ducks are some type of Muscovy Duck - I callem Turkey Ducks. Bring cracked corn - they will eat from your hand. Turns out bread is very bad for them :(Otherwise - there does happen to be a rock wall, several tables with a bbq setup, and a tall slide - yep, at 40 I went down it when no one was looking.Enjoy!
Its open. Has a little kids and older kids play area thats seperated. A huuge area for baseball or soccer or football. A basketball court. And a nice little walk lane.
Nice little in park.to relax or for cookout.
This is a really cool park. The pond is well cared for and has excellent fishing. The play ground is large and there are bathrooms here. Trash is usually not an issue, the city keeps it pretty clean.
The kiddos love it... The ducks, the play structure and the shade is really nice...I just wish the play area was shaded. Otherwise, its really nice...nice picnic tables too.
My daughter plays soccer here for the YMCA nice park
Great park. Decent playground, giant slide. Ducks! Large area to walk and run around.
It has a trail, playground for children and perfect to bring dogs as well. It also has a medium size pond and some picnic tables. The place is nice and quaint.
Great park
We love to feed the ducks and play on the playground.
The park is beautiful. It has a nice water fountain, basketball court, a baseball diamond and plenty of playground for the small kids. It has a trail that will lead you around for a good nature hike.
This park has a pond with a bridge, a basketball court, a walking trail, childrens play ground, and luscious grass. Its right off a busy road, but still very peaceful
It was ok. No park in DFW is going to look spectacular when water restrictions reign. My daughter used the small field to practice soccer drills.
Its a nice park but not to walk it its to small me and my girl friend walk five miles every morning in about 1 hour 30 minutes in a bigger park down the street from f.j red lane park I wont go back again
Park is kept neat and clean ...lots of playground equipment for the kids ...Have not ever seen shady stuff going on in the parking lot ...
Lots of shade for walks on hot days like today
One of our favorite parks. Come feed the ducks, sit on the dock and watch the pond, play on the fun park equipment, or run in the very large nice field. There is also an area for playing basketball. Very nice little location.
Nice view of water Fountain with a lot of Ducks good for kids and outings
Magnificent!! Beautiful scenery ... pond and ducks. Fantastic playground equipment. Little boys loved it all!!
Very quiet, serene and has a platform on the pond to sit and relax
Ive been to this park several times. I love the pond with the ducks and turtles as well as the small park for my little one and the large park for my older one. This park does have a restroom as well and side walks for biking and walking. Id recommend this park!
Its a beautiful little park with a pond, restrooms, a basketball court, play equipment for kids, a trail to walk on and a bridge with railing thats good for photos. Always has someone on the bb court.
Great park with something for everyone. Trails, dirt and concrete, for walking. Can walk through the trees and experience nature on the dirt trails. Nice playground for the kids with a large structure and one for smaller kids. There is a small pond with a fountain. Turtles, ducks and geese in the pond. Saw a couple people fishing and catching small fish. Will definitely come back.
My kids went to feed the ducks, but it seems the ducks are so well fed by others that they were not hungry to eat the bread my kids brought
Good park for family
Worth a visit. A good park to enjoy
Great quiet place with a pond plus ducks
Great time fishing and playing at the park. I have a 7 yr old. This is her favorite park
Clean restrooms, not overly busy, well-kept park.
Nice little clean park. Good place to walk a dog and let kids play on playground.
I love this park.Plenty of space for your dogs to play.A very nice group of responsible dog owners hang out here.
Nice park. Has pond with ducks 2 playground areas, one for toddlers, another for bigger kids. Lots of space for the area.
Great place to escape from the city. Very clean and well kept. Good area.
This is a lovely relaxation spot in town. I watched the fountain spewing its water; the turtles enjoying the atmospheric warmth as they lay on dead wood close to the pool bank; the ducks and ducklings swimming across in a single file like some matching soldiers on land; and the cranes flying across. The management are doing a good job, keeping the park clean. Families would find it pleasant for picnics.
Great family park
Love this little park for feeding the turtles, ducks and fish!
Nice, safe, shaded natural trails off concrete paths. Handful of ducks, lots of turtles. Play area near abundant shade and tables with decent bathrooms but no soap dispenser. Clean grounds, basketball court. All in 1 area, surely more on other side.
Cool place to hang out after 7
Great park
This is my favorite park, scenery, walking trails, ducks and tranquility
Ok
Parks are parks but yes it’s nice here
Big park with lots of space, a little pond with a dock, friendly ducks, and public restrooms.
Great for kids of all ages.I really enjoy it.Clean and yes, it has bathrooms.
Great park. Wish they could keep up with the mowing and the red ant issue. The fields are covered in them.
This is a great little park always a fun time.
Nice quiet park.
Great for kids. My granddaughter loved it.
Love playing basketball there. There are always some nice people and it doesnt get too crowded.
Cool clean park.
There good walking trails with benches and picnic tables under shade trees. There is a pond with ducks and turtles. Some playground equipment. Restrooms near the parking lot.
Nice walking trail for people and pets.
Nice, spacious, and quiet. Wish there were more trails to walk but it has a cute pond with a fountain and lots of green for my dogs.
