I had a pretty tall order! New to the area and a Widow I was looking for SAFE, Super CLEAN and if I could get a GREAT MENU that would be a definite winner! But throw in KIND, FRIENDLY and AFFORDABLE - now that was asking way too much! Well, I hit the ‘ultimate string’ at the 10th Frame in Appleton! Chad, the owner and Kathy his Mother were so exceptionally kind and Jessica, the bartender really was the ‘seal the deal’. She was so accommodating and full of hints and suggestions for a new Appleton resident. I totally felt safe and will look forward to seeing them all again! The Nachos were fabulous!

If you’re sick of those high end fancy so called Bowling establishments, the 10th frame is the place to go. It’s like a step back in time when it really is a Bowling Alley. No computer scoring, no underground ball returns and no couches. Pencil & a score sheet is your computer and molded fiberglass chairs is what you’ll sit it. 16 lanes of pure bowling fun. The bar is about as big as the bowling area with great drink prices and food. If you’re a serious bowler this place is NOT for you. There is no oil on the lanes and the house balls are a mess. But if you’re like me and love the oldies, this place is for you.

Family run. Mom cooks, daughter tends the bar and waitresses, the son does the money and the main run of the business. Went there for lunch with my 11 year old daughter two days ago. She was fundraising. Its a local bowling alley. So, needless to say, I didnt have high hopes of getting great food. However, both my daughter and I were left speechless and full. This place is: 5 star food, 5 star prices, and 5 star staff. We ordered: 2 kiddie cocktails, deep-fried cauliflower, garlic parmesan boneless wings, chili dog and fries daily special, and a chef salad. Total bill: $35!!!! Under $30 without the sodas. So, $15 per appetizer/meal combo. Better yet, ALL ingredients were fresh and homemade. The meat is from our local butcher shop (Jacobs Meat Market). Even the ranch dressing was made from scratch. Fries were cut and made from scratch. Boneless wings? You guessed it, chicken from the butcher and breading, seasoning, sauce from scratch. If you have never been YOU MUST GO!!! Cheapest bowling around with 5 star food!!!

The food was amazing. Everyone was wearing masks. I felt safe in there.

I like it. Nice place for friends, bowling sports tv and food. HOWEVER the two gentlemen WORKING the kitchen neither wore latex gloves. Yuk. They were handling pita bread, buns and alike. PUT YOUR GLOVES ON ITS THE LAW. But it is an overall cool place. Chris, Ohio.

Great food! Great fun! I had the Hahns King Pin and my wife had the Strike burger. Wow Tasty! Very friendly and efficient staff. Being a Saturday, they handled the crowd very well.

Great prices, great atmosphere, great bar food. Its a great place to go for snacks and drinks. And if you want to bowl, theres a small bowling alley in the back. Theyve got plenty of TVs to watch games throughout the bar. Its a staple of the Appleton community.

The bar is great the bowling alley is frustrating. We went bowling yesterday and had tons of issues with the lane not returning the ball and it took forever to get help. Do not come here when it is busy or it will take a while to get a lane as well as have any issues resolved. The bar is amazing and the food is great for it being a bowling alley which was a nice surprise. With it being within walking distance to my in-laws it is the perfect location.

Most excllent made to order local pizza. Eat there or take and bake back at home. I just did. 420° for 20 minutes .

Have not bowled here so I cant include that in my rating. Theres a bar you can sit around and also a good number of tables that were more like kitchen islands with maybe 8 chairs each which I loved. It was a really laid back atmosphere yet lively, with a classic feel yet modern. They have touchtunes which is a plus so you can play whatever music you want. Bathrooms were clean. Drinks were a fair price. Definitely reccomend coming here if youre tired of the same old same old.

Unique pizzas in addition to traditional pizzas. Cream Cheese pizza is the BEST. Friendly wait staff. Also bowling alley available.

Always great soups and food. This place never fails to disappoint. They are always offering new food specials and always at least 4 soups to choose from. Cooking is exceptional. Discovered this place about 4 months ago and find that I am a weekly regular customer. Prices very reasonable—inexpensive—and cooks and bartenders always friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!!

Really chill atmosphere, old bowling machines that work and throw you back in time

The food is good bar food, exactly what youd want from a place like this. The bowling is dated, but not having the fancy screens and having to record your own scores makes it more fun in my opinion! Friendly staff as well. Will definitely be back!

The 10th Frame was wonderful to work with. We needed a meeting room, a light lunch & 2 games of bowling for 32 4-H members & they did a great job hosting us! The meeting room was a bit small for our group however, Chad, Kathy & the others did there best to work with us. Thank you!!

Mostly bar with small alley in the back, I just really love this place. Cheap bowling, good food, relaxed atmosphere. Be ready to keep your own score because these lanes are old school including over lane ball returns.

Service kind of slow. No longer has Impossible Burger or any other vegan option.

Family friendly, great food. Its a favorite spot for my son and I.

Decent bowling. Certainly showed its age. We had some issues with the lane we were on with the balls not returning. Staff was very helpful though in assisting us whenever there was an issue with the lane.

Casual relaxed atmosphere, better than typical barfare. The soups are airways amazing and the onion rings leave me ready for the afterlife! I love the staff...always attendance to my wants and needs, and super super friendly.

They were very accommodating for my daughter with a ramp and bumpers to bowl. That pizza was really good from what I heard. I cant have gluten so I couldnt try it but overall service was great.

The 10th Frame is a bowling alley that serves food not your typical bowling alley food they have an all you can eat white fish on Fridays paired with a salad bar for only $13 plus change our server bartender which wonderful very considerate ferry times whatever lacked in the food for wonderful service made up for it. The Whitefish was okay you certainly got served enough on the first serving which I did not need to ask for more.We will return and try some of the other fish items on the Friday menu.They have other fair that we did not sample that we will definitely return soon.

Bartenders were really nice...drinks good, but lanes were run down and seem in need of repair.

If you are looking for a modern bowling experience, then go anywhere else. The facts are simple worn ragged shoes, chipped and scuffed balls that roll like a six sided rock. Lanes that break down every fourth roll.

Who loves the 10th frame? This guy! I cant believe Ive never left a review for them yet. Although I currently live 1800 miles away, it is still my favorite bar. Chad(the owner) has sponsored our softball teams for several years and in addition to him giving back to his customers, hes active in his community sponsoring programs such as The Miracle League. Bartenders Carmen and Mia are awesome(unless they beat me at bar dice) and are part of what makes this such a great place. The food is better than bar food and is inexpensive for such high quality. Of all the things I miss about living in Appleton, the 10th frame is near the top of the list.

Just came in on Friday for dinner, my buddy bought $20 in pull tabs and won $31. Our meal was interrupted by Appleton PD due to the bar accusing my buddy of passing a fake ticket because she saw a scam on Facebook. The cops checked the cameras which proved he was innocent; however during this time the bar staff treated us as we were 100% guilty. Closed out our tabs, wouldnt serve us drink, and was told they were just doing their jobs. In the end, they had to pay the money out (behind my buddies back as he talked with the cops). Didnt even have the courtesy to say sorry. Bartender Trista needs to learn some customer service along with her inadequate blonde helper. The cops explained to her to not believe everything she reads on Facebook.

Had fun bowling, couldnt get any service at the bar for drink, even while holding money. One of the bartenders even seemed too busy taking a shot with another group while 2 others kept on walking past. Probably great if all you want to do is bowl and not drink...

I went for a school even and rented all 16 lanes, great service!

The 10th Frame was very accommodating for our event. Its a nice neighborhood venue. If you are serious into bowling this is not the bowling alley you want to Bowl at. The bowling alley needs some TLC.
