I can’t say enough good things about Dave, one of the repair technicians at the Appleton location. I had two occasions of repair/warranty issues with my driver and both times Dave guided me through the process, going far beyond my expectations. I know people are brand loyal with their equipment but I’m now “store loyal” to Golf Galaxy due to the helpfulness and professionalism of Dave in the repair shop.
Kirk and Mike are knowledgeable, patient, and they work hard to put the right club in your hands.
I live in Eau Claire and was visiting my mom in Appleton. I decided to get fitted for a set of clubs as I do not have a Golf Galaxy at home. I appreciate the care that they took during COVID. I used the simulator with the golf pro and he set me up with a great set of Cobra and Ping clubs. I believe his name is David. I want to mention that the reason I shopped there was because of the caution they took for their employees and customers right now. I wrote a review for my local Scheel’s asking what they were doing about safety (no masks or attempt for distancing) and received a very rude response from their manager. I will not shop with them here on out. Appreciate the sales person and the environment. Thank you!
I like Golf Galaxy, but they pretty much use the PGA trade in values no matter what the condition of your trade.

I called up there specifically for the Calloway stratus 16 ultimate set ..They said they had them in stock for $399....I drove an hour and a half to get them only to be shown the 12 piece set for $249... I am not a pro golfer but i know the difference...Poor customer service the Kid didnt know what he was selling nor the difference... i arrived at 4pm and was pressured when 450pm came to leave and make purchases..not a very educated staff even the manager said well those just came in and we dont know much about them.. learn your inventory i knew more than the entire staff and im a newbie to golf

I broke my putter which had a new Super Stroke grip on it. I bought a new putter, and went into Golf Galaxy hoping they could take the grip off of my broken putter and put it on my new one. They told me they would do the best they could to remove and salvage it. As I was waiting and browsing the store, I found that they were selling that same grip on the shelves. I was skeptical that they would just tell me that they couldnt get the grip off of my broken putter, so that I would be forced to buy a new one from them.10-15 minutes later, they came up to me and told me that they couldnt get the grip off. I had a tee time that day, so I bought a new grip from their shelf, had them put it on my new putter, and I walked out of the store. As I was ready to pull out of the parking lot, my friend suggested that I ask for my broken putter back so that I could try taking the grip off myself and sell it. I walked back into the store, and asked for the broken putter. After an awkward conversation, the guy behind the desk hands me my flawlessly removed grip and says, Oh, I guess we ended up getting it off after all.Will never go back. I have been telling this story to all my friends and family, and will continue telling this story to all my friends and family.
Extremely poor customer service. I can rant about how they treated me as a new golfer but Im not going to waste anymore time I had to deal with this awful store. If you are want to waste your time and your money I suggest shopping here.
Competitive prices and a very friendly and helpful staff. Mike Cisler, pro, is the best ever. Lessons really helped my wife and I.
