First rate theater at reasonable prices. The assigned seating with reclining chairs make this a first rate theater. It id always very clean and the staff are very friendly. My only concern is the high prices for food and drinks. There are many food and drink options but be prepared to part with some $$. If you are part of their monthly club discounts are offered, and this is definitely the way to go for the avid moviegoer. This is my local theater, and my first choice in the High Desert. Good Job!!

Best movie theater in the High Desert (IMO). I prefer this movie theater because you generally won’t get as many loud teenagers thinking it’s okay to be loud inside the movie theater (compared to the mall movie theater). In general it seems to be a little bit more of a calm atmosphere. The temperature is more comfortable at this Cinemark than it is at the Cinemark in Victorville. Also, this location serves alcohol.

This is definitely one of the nicer cinemarks that i have been to. I love that the beverages are self serve and that they offer a kettle corn popcorn that isnt made with cheap kettle corn seasoning. They also offer a bar with very good drinks, which sometimes are a bit on the strong side, but in a good way! It was very clean and had extremely comfortable seats which reclined compared to standard theatres. If your movie isnt ready yo seat you just yet they have a small waiting area and light up sign to indicate when it is ready. Overall i have had a great experience with both the theatre and the workers in it!

First time here and its really cool they have plenty of snacks to get, you pick out the stuff and serve your own drinks like an amc but more compact area the popcorn they serve for you and ask how you want it of course like any other and then you go and pay for it its like an isle that leads to the register the seats are reclining a plus. Overall very nice experience no problems at all

This place is fire. Its quite far from where I live and such so I could come here with family without the worry of seeing someone I know. (Still worry Ill see someone, but much less than the Civic Park movie theater.)

Beat movie theater I think in apple valley the seats are super comfy they all recline and theres plenty of space in the rows for people to walk past. The staff are always friendly and we always get great seats.

I really like that it was self serve drinks. Plus it was open seating with only three other people in the theater. So it was nice!

Good deal on the popcorn and drink package if you go often. Seats are great too and I like being able to select the seats before going in.

So very nice. The staff is so helpful even with a mix up on a movie ticket app. They offered a free large popcorn. Even though they were at no fault.

Clean, and neat place. Staff is friendly and professional. When new movies are playing expect tickets to sell out. They will check tickets and remove people in the wrong seats. They also have security guards. The bathrooms are clean enough to feel comfortable.

My husband and I had a great day at the Cinemark Jess Ranch. We like choosing our seating. Talk about comfort, I look forward to the reclining seats. It is roomy and the acoustics are a blessing. The big screen is great at in area. It a pleasure as usual. Thank you very much.

Best theater on the high desert or at least an Apple Valley. Saw the new Little Women been a big fan of the original movie and I loved it

Went here for the first time yesterday and really enjoyed this movie theater. They have a great snack bar with more variety than your typical movie theater snacks of hotdogs and popcorn. The theater itself was clean and all the seats are recliners with stadium seating. I like how you can reserve your seat ahead of time so that you dont have to rush to get a good seat. Will definitely be back!

This is a great theater; I enjoy it every time I visit. Great and easy to access concessions; still a little pricey though. Each theater is smaller that most others but they are very comfortable. The seats are well cushioned and they recline to give you the best and most relaxing movie going experience possible!

I like this theater because it is clean it has nice seating and the snack bar area is always very clean as far as the people who work there theyre not very friendly but the area is nice and safe. and that is important when you live in the high desert

We went there tonight 5/31/19 and I made a mistake picking theaters on my Cinemark app. Josh the manager there (a young man early 20s maybe even 19). Switched our movie tickets for new ones and even refunded our concession items. He was amazing. It’s nice to see wonderful customer service especially in someone so young. This theater is our favorite we always go there and we even became Cinemark movie club members because of this theater. I highly recommend this place. Josh keep up the amazing work. Cinemark you guys have an amazing young man representing your company. Keep up the good work.

I asked for handicapped seating at 8:30 p.m. for a movie starting at 9p.m. and I was told to come back at 9. I walked away then turned around and went back and asked why? She said that was the policy. I am handicapped why am I supposed to wait? She said she didnt know I was handicapped, meanwhile someone online purchased the last handicapped tickets. Do online people need to provide proof of being handicapped.....NO. So my daughter and I didnt get to see the movie.

Nice enough theater. The concession area can get quite cramped, even when its not very busy and it DOES get busy, so its best to reserve seats well in advance of your showtime. They sell Starbucks drinks, Dreyers ice cream and sometimes sell movie themed shakes.

I actually live closer to another theater but this place is just so nice its worth the drive. Great snack bar, super comfy reclining seats. They even recently started selling alcohol, which is nice when youre seeing a movie you dont really wanna see.

I love that I can kick my feet up and relax in the chairs here. Its the comfort of watching at home with all the fun of going to the theater.

Best reclining seats, nice air conditioning... its almost too comfy... ive fell asleep a couple times hehe. Great concession stands and they even have beer and wine! The staff is always helpful and really nice!!

Great theater! Has an AMAZING selection of snacks, and I mean everything youd need; it essentially has a built in food court. The staff are always accommodating and dont waste your time. Worth the extra price for a good ticket.

Their CC equipment is great as are their seats. Costs are as youd expect but you fill your own soda so you dont have to wait around for them to do it. Really liked that!

Great clean theater. You can select your seating. Really nice spacious recliners and plenty of leg room for people to pass through without having to adjust your seat or pull in your legs. The concession stand takes some getting used to, but it had good offerings. The staff were very hospitable.

I took my granddaughter here. Great movie experience. Matinee prices reasonable as were the snack bar choices. The seating is wonderful. The chairs are comfortable. The backs recline and the footrest hight is adjustable. Plenty of foot room even with footrest fully extended. Well thought out seating enhances movie watching experience.

The seats are comfortable the staff are great people. Its not hard to hold a conversation with especially about what your going to go see.

My only place to go for movies! I joined the club and its been so worth it. Discounts on concession items and you pay no fee for ordering tickets online. You earn points/rewards along the way, which pretty much pays for itself. Popcorn/food quality is good. Theres a good turnaround with the popcorn so it seems like I never get popcorn thats been sitting for too long. The 3D movies are fun to watch, but limited show times. I especially love the recliner seats. Just sit back, relax, and enjoy the movie!

Chairs are great, but always busy and they let anyone sit sn the handicapped seats. I have been turned away five times in the last three months and had to go elsewhere. This place is not very handicapped friendly.

I went to watch a movie with my family and afterwards I saw a cute Sven pillow pet that CLEARLY said it was priced at 16 dollars. All of the new merchandise was marked 16 dollars, the Sven and Olaf pillow pets including the Frozen 2 blankets. Anyways it was ringing up the wrong price. The cashier tried arguing with me saying that the new items are not marked down ever, so I showed him where the items were marked 16 dollars. He said he would call a manager. I waited about 10 minutes or so and got a female manager. The staffer told her the situation and she left for a while and then came back saying they would not honor the price. I asked to have someone who could change the price and was told to wait even longer, about 30 minutes to be precise. The manager Juan had been walking back and forth the whole time and I watched him pull the 16 dollar signs off the rack and when he finally approached my family and I, he started making false accusations. I was really upset. The gift was for my future niece. Whats even worse is that I called and filed a complaint and this Juan Ramirez manager LIED to his boss and said my dad yelled and threatened him which is not true and that if he complained any longer he would be kicked out of this theater. I wish I couldve recorded everything. To make a big deal about something the Cinemark staff mispriced instead of just honoring the price astounds me. Im a manager and price coordinator at my work and when something is clearly mismarked we HONOR the price no matter what because it was OUR mistake. Unlike the supervisors here, if I were to not honor a price and give a customer a hard time I would not here the end of it from my supervisor! I know I was not in the wrong This was a big mistake on the Jess Ranch Cinemark manager and supervisors. Again this really upsets me because this used to be my favorite go to theater with my friend and family several times a month. I suppose Ill take my business to AMC theatres.

I dont go as often as I used to but I really like Jess Ranch Cinemark. Seats are comfy folks are well-behaved. It makes for a wonderful time at the movies!

This is the most outstanding movie theater I have e eir been to. The seating was lounge chairs that were upholstered and reclined with foot rests. The sound system was excellent with well placed speakers. Seating was stained with wide aisles. This was an excellent experience.

Wow was I amazed at how easy it was to reserve the seat you wanted on line present qcode on my phone and done. Loved that they had kettle popcorn to choose from and the power reclining seats. I think I just might have start going back to the movies again.

Very clean movie theater the staff was superb with their service amount of time it took for me to get my ticket food drink pay for everything even when I forgot my wallet I was able to go right back into the movie theater to get my wallet the price on the other hand was a little expensive for my taste but it was so worth it just to see the new detective Pikachu movie which was very good movie also I would definitely suggest people go into this movie theater if they want to see a good movie and have an excellent time I even enjoyed the reclining seats I felt so comfortable there I almost didnt want to leave

The assigned seating was new for us and just something I suppose we have to get used to UNLESS its only for specific showings? Either way it was fine and the seats are huge and have auto recliners with foot rests which was a plus. No issues otherwise so deserved 5 stars.

I love coming here only place I like to go to up here. It’s clean and everyone is nice. Except for the teenagers they have working the ticket desk. Apparently they need to stay in school because if that job is difficult for them I don’t know what to say. It was some snot nosed girl that thought she knew better finally my husband saw that I was going to blow up on her so he stepped in to talk dumb to her. My husband possess a skill I have yet to acquire. He is fluent in idiot. He needs it for the ppl he has to talk to sometimes so he steps in when he can see he’s needed lol. Other then that it’s a great place.
