Our kids love coming here. Small per vehicle fee to enter during the season. Swimming, sandy beach areas, playground, walking trails and covered picnic shelters with tables and grills. Also has bath houses with bathrooms, showers, changing rooms, etc.. Would have given 5 Stars but it can get crowded and said crowd doesnt pick up after themselves.
Nice water. Good parking lot. Security guards everywhere. Best for a outing
Awesome state park and beach area. We have not been here in 10 years and the family had a ball. Beach was not as crowded as thought it would for a Labor Day weekend, which was fine with us. A thunderstorm came near the area, and it started raining, but we still had fun in the water!! Highly recommend for family!
This park is still closed :( 7/15/20
Love is respect respect is religion if you have respect you love every religion ...do not ask anyone where are you from because we all from this planet....
Beautiful, $7 per car in summer
Trash and life jackets everywhere. Saw 3 state ranger and park trucks circling but it’s not their apparently. Trash cans were empty so they had to have been there and seen it. I was there for the open water swimming which was nice. Park is usually clean just hate seeing so many people that are being paid not keep the grounds clean.
The swimming area is great and in addition to the shaded pavilion with picnic tables there was an area just off the beach with enough trees to provide shade when we needed to get out of the sun. Seaforth is great as well but we liked this area better.
NCDPR does a great job maintaining one if Jordan Lakes nicest parks
Great place for Memorial Weekend. You gotta come early as weekends/holidays are first come first serve.
Amazing area for swimming an family. FISHING is not a good area. Avoid if wanting to fish.
Nice place
Always have a great time
Beautiful and clean, love visiting!
