West Annapolis Artworks and Fine Framing shop is surrounded by beautiful works of art. If you miss museum art due to COVID visit this shop. It’s a light filled art gallery/frame shop filled with high quality paintings, sculptures, ceramics, woodworks and hundreds of frame and matting selections. Shop owner Su Anne Martinez is a framing pro and selected a frame for my piece that was far from what I imagined. I was not even sure I’d like it but trusted her experience and my re-framed painting is perfect. Su’s frame grounded the painting in way I can’t put into words. The shop is located in an eclectic neighborhood of shops and eateries. A fun experience.

We had a lovely afternoon trying out different frames for several pieces. There were frames to match our eclectic taste in art, as well as elegant options for our wedding photos. We were a bit indecisive and never felt rushed. Its apparent that much care was taken and we are delighted with the result. The mat even matches the velvet on my wedding dress! And some next level wizardry was used to get the edges of rolled papyrus to lay flat. Its definitely worth it to get a professional to do the job; were so impressed with how much it brings the art to life. Def recommend!

Over the past several years Ive had four or five pieces of art framed at West Annapolis Artworks and Fine Framing. Each time Im amazed at the quality of their work and their eye for design. Theyve always helped me choose a frame that perfectly compliments the artwork and their craftsmanship is unmatched.. They are a pleasure to deal with and I couldnt imagine going anywhere else for framing. Beyond framing, they always have a very special collection of local artwork for sale.

I had an antique oil painting in a frame that was damaged. I took it to the shop and it was repaired beautifully and at a very fair price. I went to the other frame shop in Annapolis and I found out they dont do repairs. They told me they didnt know any locals who do. Well I found this shop in West Annapolis and could not be happier. This will be my go to shop from now now.
