Under new ownership that is on a mission to bring Brookstone up to its potential, and I’m excited about it.The course is getting there. It’s been a several year process on that. The new owners are breathing life into the invaluable indirect variables that have an incredible impact on the overall experience - like venue improvements and things like new golf carts.Speaking of the new golf carts - they’re great. Fresh look and power, and super awesome GPS screens with course details that help rookies like me know what to do One thing I hope gets better is the quick concessions. Every course should have a good hot dog in my opinion and there’s some room for improvement in that area.This is my “home” course so I’m excited to see what’s ahead and highly recommend everyone check it out and give it every opportunity to become your home course too.

Recently moved to the area and had the chance to play this course. LOVE it! Having 30+ years of golfing courses from around the world - this a great course that I am now lucky enough to call home.The layout is challenging with blind shots, but forgiving slopes to help “steer” the ball toward the green. Greens are in good condition and are well taken care of. You can tell that lots of hard work goes into maintaining this wonderful course.Beautiful course views, nice clubhouse and terrific customer service!! Look forward to playing regularly!

I just played Brookstone today and the course was in great shape, especially considering all play it’s gotten since this whole Covid situation. The tee boxes, fairways, and driving range all looked great. The greens were rolling fast but true. Fortunately, I was able to stay out of the bunkers this round but they looked in good shape from afar other than some very minor landscaping issues around the edges.The hilly terrain, fast greens, and a few blind shots make this course challenging yet fair. I’d advise new comers to drive up the fairway a bit on holes #6, #9, #14, #15, #18 before tee’ing off to get a better idea of the hole layout. It sounds like the carts that the new owners are purchasing may help on those holes. I play most of the courses in Anderson, Seneca, and Clemson fairly regularly and Brookstone is as good as of a course as any in the area, especially for the price. I’m excited to see what what the new owners have in store for this course!

Such a fun and gorgeous course! My husband went for some golf but left with so much more. Melissa and Tyler are such genuine, inviting and fun loving people! They’ve really revamped the place, and the Clubhouse has such a great space for events. Really excited to start working with Melissa about planning a bridal shower! She’s got such creative ideas, is very responsive and very detail oriented.

Its decent not great shape,grass n some bunkers,some form of top dressing has been done,not much grass on greens have healed back yet.Grass around holes could be cut better and some weed eating to make it look nice.

We’ve lived in Brookstone Meadows for almost two years. Initially we moved here because of the quality of the views of the golf course, well maintained fairways and greens got our attention.As new golfers and now members of the golf course we’ve really appreciated the quality of staff as well! The course is groomed and well maintained, greens are clean and cut. The bar AND cart girl have cold beer for a good price. Saturdays are for the boys and Brookstone delivers. GPS in the carts is a great way to dial in your iron ranges as well.

Heard that the place has new owners so stopped by for a game of golf and stayed for the charcuterie board and wine!! Loved it! Novel idea to have food themes nights. Was not disappointed with the golf course or the cheese and wine! Maybe my new weekend spot!! Well done new owners.

Amazing course and staff! Definitely worth the challenge for all ages. The practice range, Pro Shop, and friendly staff are all great compliments to a quality 18-hole course. Strongly considering a membership in the near future!

First time there, and clubhouse was gorgeous. The people were extremely friendly. Had a nice glass of wine and good conversation. Im not a huge golfer, but the scenery was picture perfect.

Greens are fantastic, and the scenery is great. My first time out there Melissa and Tyler were very welcoming and friendly. The club house also looks fantastic. I’ll certainly be returning to this club!

Fun course, good rates, and the staff is always willing to help. Greens tend to be really fast and firm but look great with all the rain we’ve been getting. Should be amazing this fall.

Went here while visiting family and we all really loved it. The courses were fun but challenging, and the location is beautiful. Staff was great and Ill make sure to come back next time I visit my family.

This is a great course to play. The course is both challenging and forgiving. The staff are exceptional.

Played the course this past weekend and really enjoyed it. The course is well cared for, in great shape, easy to hit from and nice bunkers, and overall a great value for the experience. They also have a quiet driving range and bar to grab a beer or sandwich at afterwards. Would recommend this to anyone interested in golf. Certainly worth the drive from Greenville, as it’s on the north side of Anderson and right off the interstate.

The Club At Broostone, located just off Highway 81 in Anderson, South Carolina was a gem of a course. Thr fairways were smooth and well manicured. The greens were a little fast, and in great shape. Overall, the course was well maintained. The a taff in the pro shop were friendly and the prices reasonable. The courae itself was challenging, but fair!! Give them a shot the next time you are in Anderson.

Course was in great shape. We had 8 in our group and had great day of golf. Only issue was it was hot but you cant blame the course or management for mother natures issues. Will be going back in the near future.

Course in great shape lots of hills

Winter takes its toll but the course still plays well. Number 12 is almost unplayable given the slope of the fairway and lack of grass.

Not the fanciest club or nicest greens, but the staff was great! Its nice and quiet too.

Nice course, in good shape. Not crowded, but challenging with several blind greens. No tee box monuments to give a layout per hole, which is helpful and little or no distance markers on the fairways. Please fix cartpaths....broken concrete in numerous places. Course Pro was very helpful and friendly, very nice clubhouse and ample parking. Highly recommended.

Good course, but they have struggled to keep the greens in good condition over the years. When the greens are in good shape, its a solid course to play. Pro Shop Staff are friendly, but the overall service is lacking compared to what you get at other clubs in the upstate. Club will be undergoing a major renovation this summer. If done right, this club has a real shot to become the preferred choice for golfers in the Anderson area.

Course is ok. Seems like the people that work and live there have a skewed vision of what they really have. To just have been redone, its definitely not worth the money and Id be surprised if this place was still in business in a year. Pro Shop is in a single wide trailer and no new club house appears to under construction. I would definitely advise playing elsewhere!

I played this course with a group of 9 other golfers from Ohio. I live in Landrum SC. We played two rounds (in one day) and enjoyed the course. Staff treated us very well!!

Seems like they are trying to make this place a better place to golf.

Played Golf Friday since course was redone last year. Fairways are very good greens are extremely fast but also very good. Ovall, very good. Course is missing signs for the holes and distance markings. Knowing the course well, was not are big problem for us. A little pricy or two seniors.

All the updates and nothing is different other than the greens are too fast.

Nice layout. Greens were aerated and sanded. Looks like the heavy sanding of the greens helped several patchy greens but good value.

Like to see softer greens. Also cut the high grass you are letting grow. Slows play looking for balls.
