Take the rabbit creek/lake trail from the end of canyon road for a great veiw of the peaks and the lake below them. Its about a 4.25 mile gradual incline hike to the lake, good for backpacking day trips or even mountain biking. For an attempted summit of the peaks you can camp at the lake and spend a day going up the peaks themselves after youre there. Still some snow and the lake is (mostly) frozen as of 5/20/2019
