I started at Clay Art Space with a class after realizing I needed some guidance learning to throw pottery. Jenny is a great resource with her many years of experience and is a patient and dedicated teacher. The studio is well organized and maintained with clear guidelines on how to recycle clay and keep the space clean for everyone. There is a great community being built and since you really have to be willing to go a couple times a week to keep your pieces moving through the process from throwing to trimming a few days later and eventually glazing after your pieces have been bisque fired, you get to know all of the people that frequent the studio and they are all great! I definitely recommend the studio for anyone that is looking to learn, have an already set up space outside of their home and who wants to meet some great people in the clay arts community.

My S/O and I dropped in to glaze some pottery. We had a great time in the studio, and everyone was so kind. Our pieces were ready about two weeks later, and when I went to pick them up, I fell in love. If youre looking for a date night, or a night out with your girls, this is a great place to do it! Theres plenty of pieces to choose from, tons of glazes, and lots of space! Treat YOSELF.
