Awesome shop. Staff was great. Store was clean and easy to browse products. I went there to buy a bow, was in a hurry, explained this to the staff. Had a bow set up for me and was out the door that took less than 2 hours. I’ve been in a lot of bows shops around the country and this was one of the best.

They treat you like family here. This is by far the best archery shop I have been too. I have been trying to get a new bow for about a year. I had been hesitant to do so because I didn’t want to make a big investment and not be happy with it. They worked with me even though I told them that i wasn’t sure if I was going to buy a bow yet. They still let me try out all the bows I wanted. They worked with me for about 4 or 5 hours and not once did I feel rushed or pressured. This allowed me to get a good feel for every bow that I tried. I ended up purchasing 2 bows at the end of the day. I purchased one for me and one for my wife. Thanks to their excellent customer service, I walked out of there with full confidence in the purchases I made. Also, my wife is brand new to archery and is trying to build up her draw weight slowly so we go there almost every week. They always treat us with great respect and patience when they help us with the bows. They also make sure that our bows are always properly tuned any time they adjust anything. They’re attention to detail and customer service is the best I have ever seen. This is now my go to archery store. They are very knowledgeable in every aspect of archery.

The shop has a good assortment of stuff but the people were unfriendly. Not sure that Id go back in unless I absolutely had to - it was unpleasant to be in there. Its not fun to shop when you feel unwelcome, and it doesnt exactly make you want to drop any money. I first visited Full Curl 6 years ago, its changed a lot since then.

Hands down best place for archery related everything. Awesome staff and always filled with friendly and knowledgeable local hunters, competitive and recreational shooters.

The staff are extremely helpful, generous, and knowledgeable. I knew nothing about archery when I first came and they spent a great deal of time helping me pick out a bow and set it up. Cant recommend this place enough.

Great place to learn! My teenage son and I decided to take up archery as a father-son winter activity. We went to a free lesson session at the Kincaid Chalet, which was great for beginners with little kids, but we quickly discovered that private lessons would be better. We went to Full Curl. Gina was fantastic! Very understanding and encouraging. We’ve been doing lessons and rentals so we could try out different bow types. They have our measurements on file and have our bows ready at the beginning of the lesson. We’re now buying bows. I highly recommend this place! Buy local!

This is the place to go for all your archery needs! The staff are very helpful, we had bad experiences with Archery places in the Valley so we drove an hour to Full Curl Archery LLC! The owner/staff patiently helped me over 3 days while determining what bow was right for me. Not once was I pressured into one brand or price range. Great service, products, and prices that you won’t get at the big box stores. If you are thinking about getting into bow hunting I highly recommend checking them out.

This place is great for kids and adults alike. Everyone is so helpful and they do great work on your bows. The prices are great and if they dont have it they look to get it for your. The owners we cant say enough nice things about and the techs are great too from knowledge to their customer service. Walked in to check out the selection of bows and ended up buying a new BowTech setup. All the guys were extremely helpful and tentative. They allowed me to spend as much time as I wanted to demo any bow in the store. Once I made my selection, the personal attention to ensure my bow was setup correctly was awesome. They allowed me to try out any accessory to find the ones I liked, installed, and helped with fine tune adjustments. Additionally, they allowed me to shoot on their range until I couldnt shoot anymore. Great experience and would highly recommend.

I went in for a tune on my bow and received excellent service. I returned to check out their selection of new bows and was given one on one support with no high pressure sales tactics. I went to Full Curl Archery today to shoot my bow at their indoor archery range. ($10 for the day) The range is great. They have 11 lanes, some at 20 yards and some at 10 yards. They also have a techno hunt that I will go back and try out. The people there, customers shooting and the staff, were all very friendly and helpful. Its almost like a little family there and everyone makes you feel welcome. The store is great, as well. One of the employees fixed my fraying string that had been needing fixed for a long time now- for free. They have a great selection of bows and other archery equipment and seem to be very knowledgeable. I will definitely be back and purchase my archery supplies here and my next bow! The prices seem to be lower than Cabelas or Sportsmans Warehouse, too.

The young man behind the counter has absolutely no, none, nada people skills. If he has any archery knowledge he keeps it very well hidden. Offers nothing and answers questions in monosyllables and begrudgingly at that.Over at Back Country Archery Bill offers superb customer service and willingly shares his vast expertise.You make the choice.

I had a newly purchased bow from another store and I didnt like the feel. I explained to the staff that I was a new archer and they tuned it up perfectly and even gave me a few tips to help me get started. The customer service was amazing; the staff understood that Im new to the sport and treated me respectfully and made me feel welcome. Very good experience, I highly recommend this store.

Been in the industry for 12 years and this is the cleanest, most professionally staffed archery range/shop in Alaska. Seasoned staff that have experience in the field of archery and hunting. They carry a wide variety of good quality, competitively priced products. I will always go to Full Curl Archery for all my bows needs.

I have worked in the Archery Industry for 10 years, 6 of those years at a bow/bow accessory manufacturer and I can only say this about Full Curl: Im sure its a nice place to take a dump but I will never spend a dollar there again. The owner and techs work is sub par at best for what they charge, good luck getting acknowledged when u come into the store from anyone behind the counter.No customer service at all. Its sad because they have a nice looking shop with good product.They also over charged me for work that was quoted as $45 in person and then confirmed again on the phone before I came in, but then the price jumps to $75 because bow requires a special press....this is according to the owner who does his best to make you feel unappreciated for being in his shop and spending any amount of money there. Avoid this place like the plague.

Spent weeks trying to find a pair of Kennetrek hunting boots in a wide size. The big box stores were no help at all. They wouldnt even try and order them for me. Someone told me Full Curl Archery carried Kennetrek so I called them up. They immediately ordered me a set and within a couple days I had them. The staff was awesome and really passionate about hunting. If you hunt, even if you arent an archery hunter, go check out their store

Went in with my family on a Saturday to sign my son up for Archery league or lessons, and was not greeted by any of the store workers. We walked around the store, and to the back area, upon which we were followed by 2 younger guys. No customer service skills. As I stood writing the review, we were finally greeted by the gentlemen that was busy helping another customer when we walked in. He had a good deal of information, very helpful. Based on the vibe we got when we walked into the store, we will most likely take our business elsewhere.

Great place came in from out of town very helpful and polite.the owner Dave was awesome as well as all the shooters in the range just a great group of guys all around.Dave was also kind enough to give me a ride back to my hotel,thanks Dave.will most definitely be back next time Im in town

Awsome customer service Dave was patient and very informative on teaching us how to use a bow and arrow and how to shoot properly and safely down range they even adjusted the bow for my wife to make it easier for her to use.

Top notch customer service. I went in looking for wood arrows for my traditional recurve bow and with positive advice walked out with carbon arrows in under 10 minutes. I shot the arrows through a dozen rounds and they were spot on. I will be going back and have referred friends. Shop local Anchorage!

5+ Stars! Brought my bow to Anchorage to get new strings and cables and learned a bunch about my shooting that no one had pointed out to me in 20 years of shooting! Very knowledgeable and helpful.

I stopped by to check it out today. Very nice and friendly people. They have recurve and compounder bows. Prices seem on par with the big box stores and they not only repaired an arrow for me they also sold me a single arrow and custom fetched it. Most places you have to buy six at a time.

Ive been flinging arrows for some time, but aside from a few pointers when I was a kid first picking it up from the older guys at the (now gone) indoor range, I was largely self-taught. Ive had my 3 kids shooting recurve for about 2 years now and we decided it was time to get them into some more modern bows. We went in and Joni took her time assessing and measuring all 3 kids and making suggestions for us on what to look for (as my bow is about 25 years old and things have changed quite a bit since then!) We made our purchase, and they kept the bows until the next day to get them set up just right and arrows cut. Went back and another gentleman and Joni both came and dialed the kids in at 10 yards and gave us a great pointers that I had no idea about. Joni instantly identified my daughters left eye dominance and gave her options to work with it. The kids are excited to start getting all the arrows in the target at 20 yards so they can come and use the virtual hunting system. Great service, no pressure, pure knowledge. I dont know how their prices compare to the big-box stores because we came here first and have no desire to go anywhere else.
