This park has gotten better. I suggest only going morning and leaving no later than sun down. It becomes a different environment at that point. Good place to play baseball, basketball, soccer, and football.

It was OK. Tbh the park is kinda dull. There are many surrounding parks that are much more interesting.

It is very fun for kids. They love the jigsaw and skateboard area. The 2 playgrounds, 1 for 5 years and younger. And the the other for others. Also there is a baseball field. Very nice.

Posted during Corona-19. Visited at 9am with kid, found people drinking beer in the parking lot. Someone was living in one of the jungle gyms.

Schweitzer Park is half childrens playground and half homeless encampment. This is the sad reality of much of this great country of ours. Its heart breaking to see. It is still a very nice park during the day. Not sure I wanna be here at night.

This is a great park. But to many homeless people. Some time they go to the bathroom and they dont come out. Who knows what they do and thats for Men and women bathrooms. Other than that the park is great.

Ive been pleased to be at this Park which is located at a very convenient neighborhood area.

Great park aware your kids from the ashes of the grills my daughter got burn bad. Be careful homeless not far from park and they use the park restroom never let your kids go alone.

A lot of gang members and homeless people hanging out. Mainly around the east end of the park and there are homemade houses under the bridge.

I love the skate park and basketball courts.

I just started coming to this Park and I got to watch several Bobby Sox Softball games. I read the review and thought the park was going to be exactly what was said but it was pretty big, family oriented and most of fun for all that I could see.The field and Park were kept in great condition with New Restrooms being built. Im sure the Bobby Sox League that plays out of there had a big part of cleaning up the area and Im sure the smell your talking about is gone because I didnt smell anything bad for the kids unless your talking about the BBQ grill they had running for those All Beef Hot Dogs I was eating.Thanks for a great afternoon and for unsuspected games of softball. I would also like to Thank the Bobby Sox program from what I saw was them girls walking around the area picking up trash that others left to try and keep this park clean... That Organization seems to be teaching the right things.
