This is a great ride with massive drops and heights. You definitely get wet on this ride, so make sure that you’re fine with getting your clothes wet before you go! The ride staff give you a plastic bag so then you can protect your phone and other valuables while you’re on the ride, which is very useful. The ride staff are very friendly. Definitely recommend this ride!

I know everyone loves this ride and talks about how great it is but honestly I’m not a fan. I mean it’s ok but it’s dated and I’m glad they are doing an update. The lines are always way too long and the drop is fun but it could offer so much more. I’ve gone to the park many times and not gone on this ride.

Awesome ride! The last drop gives you butterflys so if you dont like that dont ride this. But if you like to get wet then ride this. The songs are nice. This ride deserves to stay. DO NOT CHANGE THE THEME OF THIS RIDE!

Very awesome ride! Good for all ages and very exhilarating. Would definitely recommend to anyone! One of the best rides on this side of the park! Although, if you are trying to avoid the line, get to the ride right when Disneyland opens, and you may likely be able to get a few rides in with significantly shorter lines than layer in the day. If you don’t want to get there early, get a fast pass.

Still an amazingly fun ride. This is fast pass ride. The wait when it’s hot outside can be up to 2hrs. Sitting in the front is so much fun but your risking getting soaked. They take pictures on the big drop down so be prepared to pose or just scream your head off. Overall its one of the top rides in the whole park so plan it into your day

Splash Mountain is hands-down one of my favourite rides in Disneyland Park. I have made so many awesome memories on this ride! Its so much fun for the whole family. The music is great and catchy, the animatronics are so intricate and interesting, and there are several thrill drops... including the big one at the end! Youll get wet, but youll be laughing lots. When youre in Disneyland, you have to do this ride. No question!

If you sit in the front you are most definitely gonna get wet. The best time to go is in the morning or the same time fantasmic is going on.You’ll find the single rider entrance in the exit of the ride.The maximum capacity for the log is six people.

This is Awesome! Not only does it have good theming but it also has a Story. It also packs a thrill with the 3 drops. Splash Mountain is sure too have you in you Laughing Place!

What a fun ride.The lines can be extremely long during the heat of the day but one of the best times to go on this ride is the early evenings or during Fantasmic. The cars can be very wet but surprisingly you don’t get to wet on the ride itself.The drop is fun but unfortunately for a little kid can be scary, too bad as the animatronics on this ride are first class.Floating through the ride makes you think why they did do the big drop and go with a wet ride when this would have been a great float ride.Nonetheless this is definitely worth the wait and a lot of fun.

Splash mountain is a splash.If you want to get extra wet be in the front. If you want to get somewhat wet be in the middle. If you want to TRY to stay dry as possible go to the back of the log.It’s nice sometimes they provide zip lock bags to keep you phone or other valuable items dry from all the splashing fun. They also have a nice splash mountain designing the front, good for a souvenir. Great on a hot day. Not so much on a cold day or after sundown.Give it a try hope you have a great fun and wonderful time.

Still very enjoyable even after all these years. The main part of the ride is slow and while entertaining is sort of disjointed from Disney. The drop at the end is by far the most fun part, and is well worth the rest of the ride to get there. The lines can be a bit long, especially the hotter the day gets, so go when its cool out, and expect to get wet.

Its a really great ride with cool characters inside and amazing drops, but Id like to warn you you WILL GET WET. Also, the stand-by wait is unbelievably long, so be sure to get a fast-pass ticket. Best ride in Disneyland!

This one is my least favorite disneyland ride ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the drop was so scary, that last time i rode the ride I had to take my Sally ears off and also hold on to the bars inside the log. I am never riding this ride ever again. the only time i will ride it is in the summer. The only time i like it is when it breaks down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A must ride! Another classic Disney ride that is always fun to ride (and has long waits)!!! Prepare to get splashed if you ride this!! Theres also has a great story to it with Brer Rabbit! The detail and art is also beautiful! If you want to avoid he long waits, get a fastpass or come in the evening.

Love this ride! Especially if its cold or raining outside... dress properly with rain gear and you can ride it over and over again without waiting in line, because there wont be a line!!

Probably the best log flume ride on planet earth.It’s a solid 10 minutes, with a storyline, multiple hills, anamotronics and even an up/down roller coaster portion.Nothing beats the classic Splash Mountain.

Favorite ride in the park, gets better each time you go.

For wet experience this is one place to go. Perfect for hot days.. just dont get too wet later in the day. Anaheim can get a little cold at night. They will tell you not to stick your hands in the water, but there are some places in the ride you can give your boat riders or other boats a good splash. Trust me, no one will get mad.. if they do? What the hell are they doing riding SPLASH Mountain?

Splash mountain was fun a thrilling for the whole family we thought the characters were so cool and my personal favorite ride of Disneyland and California adventure.

I must agree it was fun riding a log ride but kinda creepy if you know what I mean. It’s a bit ruff on the drop. Also the animal robots, some were broken but hope this ride will upgrade soon.

No matter how many times Ive been on this I always love the drop at the end. Great ride to cool off with in the middle of the day.

This is a very fun ride. Do not go on it though if you do not like getting wet. You can expect to get a bit wet, but not soaking (unless you are packing lots of pounds). The ride has a fun story that unravels before your eyes as you ride along and it will make you laugh. Make sure to put on a funny face for the last big drop on the ride and get the print.

Love it! The 50 vertical drop at the end was awesome. Id give it 5 stars but the first timw we waited in line for nearly an hour and the ride broke down and we had to leave. It would be nice if they offered a way to get back to your spot or fast pass right in after these events. Ride was enjoyable though.

Amazing combination log flume-dark ride experience that goes unrivaled in the amusement park world. The only other ride similar is the Log Ride at Knott’s Berry Farm, but even that ride doesn’t come close to the immersive storytelling and detail that Splash Mountain has. Disney’s take on this classic includes 3 drops, each bigger and more thrilling than the last, as well as a theme song throughout and cute cuddly animal animatronics. The finale is a 50 foot drop out the mountain’s front that plummets you into a briar patch. Super wet and loads of fun!

Nobody warned me that this ride features very terrifying animatronics so those were a source of great discomfort,, other than the mild trauma pretty cool and fairly dry, would recommend

One of the best rides in the park. The atmosphere and ride itself are so much fun. I find that you get wet more in the front two seats and it comes from the drop before the big one sloshing water into the front of the log. Lift up your feet and get ready for your butt to likely get a bit wet or completely soaked through.

A modern Disneyland classic. You will get wet and you might get drenched, so be sure to time your visit to this ride with the weather and temperature. Hotter parts of the day have lines in excess of 90 minutes, so get a FastPass or walk-on when the line is non-existent - generally the early part of the morning and late part of the evening.

Where can i start! Pure Disney Magic. Such a great adventure and fun ride, Puts you right into Disney Animation while Zipping along the Flume. You Will get Splashed! Dont forget to use your cell phone to snap a photo of you on the ride as u walk off! EPIC!!!!!!!

One of the best in the park! Youve really gotta time it right. If you do it at night you could be too cold. However if you do it in the middle of the day the line will be too long.

Splash Mountain is by far my very favorite and #1 ride here! I love the queue as much as the ride! The soundtrack is amazing the audio animatronics are as equally amazing and this is the ride of all rides!

Lines or not still rode this ride several times wish I still had the photos right before the plummet the ride stopped and we had to get out mid ride and got a rare behind the scenes tour.

Stood in line for a while (used fast pass). Almost got to the front of the line and it broke down (again). Was going to be an hour to get it up and running. So lost our fast pass on that ride and didn’t get a chance to come back and do it.

I love love Splash Mountain and I always sit on the front, but when you re in the front, you mostly get wet, but that was awesome!!!

Probably one of the BEST rides at Disneyland in my opinion.

Love It Waters Ride

5 stars is not enough, a great story, great music a few drops, and afterwards you will be singing all day and want to go on it again and again. Depending on where you sit you may get wet, but who cares? Its worth it. This is the best of Disney!

Classic Disneyland. In hindsight, we shouldnt have ridden Splash Mountain this time around. It was too cold outside. Its difficult to estimate just how wet youll get. You could get completely soaked or get a few drops of water on your pants. I love the music and animatronics though.

This is one wild and wacky log flume ride.Filled with so much whimsical charming detail, this ride is guaranteed to take you on a crazy trip nonstop singing animal animatronics and a very catchy soundtrack.Tip ride this ride Early in the day when there is no line. Please be aware if the pumps are working too well, you may end up getting SOAKED way before you get to the last drop.BTW I didnt get to see Brehr Bear

If you are going on the ride in 2018 or later, please note that the ride will normally brake down at around noon. We went to Disney for 5 days and the ride kept on closing at roughly the same time and seems like other people had this issue as well.

Fun log ride that lasts quite a while.

This is our first fast pass next time. By the time we got here our time was 8pm. A little late to get wet but still a lot of fun.

My favorite log ride of any park! The line can be ridiculously long though, if you dont have a fast pass, dont ride this ride, just dont. Sometimes you get wet, other times you dont. Mostly just my shoes will get wet and then I have wet feet all day, so I would bring a change of socks or some decent water shoes. It also has a tendency to break down, and it usually happens after you have been standing in line for over and hour, hence the fast pass. I still love this ride, it is themed phenomenally and the drop is great! Dont forget to check your photos!

Float your way through elaborate scenes, catchy music, great theming and lots of animatronics while preparing for the inevitable drop. If it werent for the possibility of getting wet, if ride this more often. However theres a good chance youll leave with wet shoes!

This is a fun ride.I was injured though when the ride stopped abruptly and I was thrown forward into the hard rubber bumper on the seat back in front of me. It knocked the air out of my lungs and bruised my chest. Very painful!

Last time I went in 2017 there were quite a few animatronics not working and some lights were out, but that didn’t detract from the magic of the ride. You’ll have the ride song stuck in your head all day.
