Mickeys Toontown inside of Disneyland, is a magical place. Toontown is less crowded a long wait to see Mickey Mouse, but thats to be expected. As a child I never got to visit Magic Kingdom. let along Disneyland and Mickey Toontown. Growing up I made a promise to myself that I would get to Walt Disney World, Magic Kingdom, and I did. My first visit was around 1986, I took my daughter and my son. My daughter then 9 years old and my son 3 years old. Ive been going back ever since year after year after year. I love Magic Kingdom, Disneyland and everything Disney. Ive been blessed to make it over to Disneyland Paris and cant wait to get to Tokyo Disneyland. Each is magical in its own way. Im a fan of the Mouse. My children and I still travel to the Magic Kingdom at least every other year. If youre feel stressed or need a pick me up, Walt Disney World, Disneyland is the place to go and just be a kid again, Walt Disney World is truly something for everyone, So, dont ever grow up its a trap ((giggle)).
I love Toontown and look forward to Mickey & Minnies Runaway Railway coming in to spruce up this area, which hasnt seen a lot of love since it first opened in 1993!
Great places for little ones.
Such an incredible world with some of the funniest and most creative visuals in the whole park. It really seems like youre inside of a cartoon! The land is all the better for fans of Who Framed Roger Rabbit as well as Toontown Online the video game, which both have visuals that youll easily recognize here.
Relive your childhood, period.
Definitely an area of the park designed for younger children.
Minnies House is located in the ToonTown section of the park at Disneyland and next door to Mickeys house. The line to see Minnie is not that bad and youre entertained while in line with lots to see and take in. For some reason it was even more thrilling to see and meet Minnie than it was too see and be greeted by Mickey. Its really just personal preference. Minnie is charming and the performer portraying her does a phenomenal job.
This could be so much better had there been some better parenting from other families and their kids or more enforcement from the park attendants. This is more for small children which is great, they need a place to enjoy too. But parents dont seem to know how to read that some areas are 2-5yrs not for large older kids! My 2yr old almost got trampled by kids that were too old to be there. The parents seem to think you can just let your kids run around without supervision around this area which makes it horrible for everyone. My little one couldnt enjoy anything without older kids pushing their way through to everything. We thought shed have a chance in the 2-5yr area but we were wrong. Never again! Wish there were park attendants in these areas to enforce the rules for the parents that dont seem to want to parent on vacation. Shame on the adults for being lazy and ruining a fun areas for other kids. Parenting doesnt stop on vacation!
Whenever we see Mickey outside right when you enter Disneyland or California Adventure, there are such long lines to meet him. This is another way you can meet him in Toontown. Ive heard the lines get long but when we were there, it was only 15 minutes vs. Minney who had a 25-30 minute line. We actually went to meet him twice (the first time to have Mickey sign my sons birthday card and the second time on my sons 14th birthday). Mickey was dressed differently both times. One was his Fantasmic Sorceror Mickey outfit and the second in classic Mickey outfit. I guess there are 2 rooms to move the lines faster. Or maybe Mickey just changes depending on when you see him?
Small land filled with sight gags, kids play areas, a couple rides and character meet and greets. Less magical than the rest of the park and outdated - Good candidate for replacement in the near future.
Toontown is one of the newer lands of Disneyland. That said, its not actually new and had gone downhill a bit. Despite that, there are still fun things here. They have character meet and greats here. The Roger rabbit ride is fun, and the Gogo roller coaster is fun for kids,.
Its like you are transported to a real life cartoon land...wonderful!
Its a great place to bring little kids and adults alike. As the name states, its very cartoon-y and there are many places to take pictures. Also many characters like Micky and Minnie mouse to get autographs from.
I took my son for his birthday and he fell in love with Mickey Mouse Toontown
This place is great for the younger kids. You have the Whole Framed Roger Rabbit ride and then Mickeys House and Minnies House. Theres so many photo opportunities and characters to meet.
Could be so much better... the roger rabbit cartoon spin attraction is definitely a must do, and mickey mouse meet and greet is fun because he has 3 or 4 different costumes. but the rest of the land needs more to do... half the land is a glorified playground with nothing that really differentiates it as being at a premium theme park
I luv this place! Very fun and very strange(in a nice way). My favorite place is Mickey mouses house. I recommend u come hear
Drove for hours to visit and spent over $400. Firstly the worlds worst signposts for parking everything appeared closed no clue or idea of where to go or how to find other parking. You think for the ludicrous price for parking there would be some signage to direct people to open parking. We waited for over an hour to find a route possibly to parking then another thirty minutes in a traffic jam not know how long the wait was. Even with tickets in hand not going to wait. Total waste to time and energy. Disney too lazy to do any for it is visitors. I am sure Walt would be proud of the incompetent service and ability to annoy in one fell swoop. Will encourage folks never to bother to come here a waste of time.
Fun for the very young, adults will get bored in about 10 minutes.
Please update your security protocols. Disneyland will not keep you safe.
Fun but meant for small kids.
A fun part of my childhood, albeit a bit outdated. Its a really fun atmosphere thats really unique, but there isnt much to do here other than Roger Rabbit, which is a must-do. Everything else is cool to see, but not up to par. Quite a bit of the old attractions are gone or changed, like the old trolley or the area behind Chip & Dales (incredibly tiny for most people) treehouse. Despite the negatives: Its an extremely charming area and Im glad its still there. Just wish it was maintained and had more to do.
Mickey and the gang magically brought to life in every small detail. Such a gorgeous little corner of the park, a must for all visitors big and small.
Meet and Greet Mickey and Minnie At Their Houses
I went to mickeys house and saw him it was so cool
Crowded but the kids had a great time of it.
This is an area of the park I loved when I was a kid and I will love again when I have kids. For right now, I am in an in between phase where I appreciate it from afar.
Meet Mickey and get super cute photos taken in Toontown.
The appeal is excellent! I dont know a kid that wouldnt love this place. Parents on the other hand might find it repulsive. Its definitely germ infested! There is no preventing your kids from getting sick. Overall this section of the park is great for kids!
As usual the lines were miles long and it took forever to get to meet Mickey. Props were interesting.
I love Mickeys toontown I remember going inside mickeys House he has his own movie theater it shows his classic movies and his work
Best place in the park for little ones to explore. Mostly play houses.

Once a great place for the kids, full of vibrant energy. Has become a forgotten land in need of a severe face lift or demolition.
This place should be so much better than it is.
A great place to meet Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto and often Daisy Duck..
Good for the little ones!
Its a classic place...cartoonish as the name suggests...reminiscent for the adults and quite a lot of fun for the kids. A place for a wander and let the kids play off some sugar.
Amazing! The long line ups are worth it.
