The Hyperion Theater is showing Frozen right now, it used to be, the Aladdin show, Aladdin was so better!

We saw Frozen in this theater amd it was Amazing!!! Beautiful theatre at Disneyland!

Awesome shows. Frozen follows the movie script so you wont be surprised by the story, but the stage sets and special effects are incredible. Characters walk through the isles on the bottom level, but you can take it all in from the upper floors even better. Must get there early or it fills up.

The Hyperion Theater is where they perform Disneys Frozen. It is an amazing play or the actual movie. I definitely recommend you see it at least once. Wait for the last show as there are less people trying to get in. If you sit down below you have a better view but you have to get there at least an hour before the show to get those seats. The top is not bad at all and the wait time isnt bad at all. Enough about frozen, the best play they had there was Aladdin. Not to take anything from Frozen but Aladdin was a better play but I understand that they had to change it up.

Six stars would be more appropriate! Make reservations for the Frozen package, which includes lunch at Carthay Circle, and enjoy the best seats in the house. Every production here is top notch; first the extravaganza of Aladdin, and now...Frozen! The entire cast was talented, committed, and energetic, but boy, Olaf was a standout. He stole the show! And theres a special surprise that I wont spoil. I defy you to leave the Hyperion without a smile on your face. My family goes to Disneyland multiple times a year so we know the park inside and out, and the Hyperion is a top-five attraction, if not the best in the park.

Go go go!!! Broadway quality performance. Youll be amazed by the magic that youll see. Amazing performers, the cast changes each show but they are all great. Show is about an hour long. Get off your feet and in the AC. I recommend the mezzanine if you want to see all the show has to offer, but orchestra is also good because you get nice and close to the action.

Definitely sit in upper orchestra!!! Its a perfect view and be sure to see second show not first or third

You really don’t have to get here too early for Frozen anymore- 30 minutes, tops! The show is pretty impressive and lengthy for a theme park (though the trolls and some other elements are... definitely a little questionable). Overall it’s a cute show with talented cast and stays true to the story, and it’s a great hour in the AC.

OK. So Frozen has slowly taken everything over. BUT this show was amazing! Youll be laughing and enjoying the music before you know it. And the theater has all good seats - a must during each visit.

Great venue to escape from the normal theme park stuff. They have 45 min versions of Theater musicals. Plan ahead to get good seats. If you like interaction with the cast avoid upstairs seating.

Our stay at Disney involving the Hyperion theater included an hour wait in line and we got great seats. Popcorn purchase with a soda. Then, a canceled show with absolutely no explanation. All said and done, a two hour waste of our time with two children who were very sad.

Broadway quality theater for free! Its great on a warm day because you get a chance to watch a play and sit in air conditioning for 45 minutes.

Sad to see the Alladin musical go, but your Disney experience would not be complete without Anna, Elsa, and Olaf.

Watch the show Frozen in the theatre. Its worth the time, but if you want to get a good seat, you should arrive here early.

Show fills up fast. Make sure your kid wants to take a break cause the show is long and the appeal of rides might trump their attention.

For a Disney production I thought the singers could have been better. I imagine yesterdays Elsa must have been an alternate or was having a bad day. Anna did well though.

Went to watch the Frozen musical here. My daughter loves it. The set was great, but there were some glitches here and there. Quite entertaining, seems like a play you would pay over $100 at Pantages Theater or Broadway. I still prefer the Aladdin musical they had before, but the show has been running for too long. Get in line early, at least an hour for good sittings.

AMAZING!!! Currently showing a Broadway quality show of Frozen. If you are at DCA, this is a must see show. You will not regret it.

A nice diversion at Disney California Adventure. The shows are great. Their show perfomance times work out on my schedule for the mid afternoon. It is great way to and actual sit for a bit instead of waiting line after line of rides. A worthy spot to visit. Just dont come by this area when everyone is exiting the theater

By far one of the best shows at Disney California Adventures. The kids and the crowd absolutely love it. It is like the movie and songs are brought to you live! And yes, you can eat snacks!

7E2-526: It is a great theater. We always enjoy the show when we go there. Frozen is a hit with my granddaughters. We also enjoyed the previous show about Aladin. It would be great if they could rotate the shows frequently.

Very nice theatre but the Mezzanine is a little difficult to get to if you’re carrying a child. In addition to that, be prepared to wait about an hour, while standing up, to get in and be seated. Other than this, it’s a very nice theatre and the Frozen show is great.

For anyone who hasnt seen Frozen. Youll receive a magical unforgettable experience. Ive seen it twice.

Best live show of frozen Ive seen!!!

Disney puts on a great show. This is the theater which Aladdin for years, but has now become Frozen. You will need to get a fast pass for this show. The theater is nice and the false front of it, a theme park version of a movie studio set version of Hollywood blvd and too blue to be true skies above make for a nice photo op. The actual entrance to the theater is off to the side.

Dont miss this gem in the middle of Disney California Adventure theme park. It does requirement a commitment of time to secure your seat and then enjoy one of the few shows they put on here on busy days, but it is arguably Broadway quality shows appropriate for any age viewer. Kids will be mezmerized while the adults will marvel at the story-telling artistry that takes place in this building. Sitting in one of the upper two levels loses some of the familiarity and intimacy of being on the floor, but the sight-lines are clean and less obstructed by those in front of you.

People often overlook the live entertainment at Disney parks, but it is really top notch. The previous show in this venue, the Aladdin show was simply amazing, and was a personal favorite of mine. I was skeptical when Disney announced that they were replacing it with a new live show based on Frozen, but after seeing it, I have to say this was incredibly well done. The show is Broadway calibre and comes free with your park admission, so why not check it out. A great way to cool off for an hour in the heat of the day and enjoy some top notch entertainment.The set design and effects in this particular show took my breath away, and the acting was fantastic.

We watch Aladdin while we were there a d could not believe the quality of the production all included in your admission price of the park. We went back and back and back over the week we visited. Loved it! And what a stunning theatre as well. Do t miss this one, what ever the show may be.

Current show(frozen) is absolutely worth waiting for. Even if you do not like the movie, the show is very well done with amazing special effects. Generally if you show up 30 minutes or more before a show you will get seats. if you come super early you may get on lower floor but not necessarily great seats. I have not had a bad seat yet, even up on the top floor.

I was blown away when I visited the theater and I couldnt believe that it was a free show that came with your park pass! I had a wonderful time seeing Disneys Frozen here. The cast was incredible! It was truly a beautiful experience!

I miss the Aladdin show here, but it was time for something new. I wish they could have both the Aladdin show and Frozen show at different times throughout the day. Good luck getting into the Frozen show without the fast pass. Youre guaranteed to wait at least 3 hours without it. Both shows were great in their own ways.

Awesome theater. The productions here are amazing. They are currently showing Frozen. To be honest I wish they would have kept the Aladdin she I thought it was way better. FYI seating on the upper levels have steep stairs so if your afraid of heights I would stick to the lower floors.

Production of Frozen was awesome!It was an hour long show, which I haf waited another hour for.Line is crazy. The staff treat customers like kids. The staff opened up the roped area to let people in, and they said no running. A gentleman walked fast. i would not say he was running,but the staff had him come back to his place to give it a second try. Rude

Love the views from all levels. To see Frozen its better to sit orchestra, but in the back or the mezzanine level. I wish they still had fastpasses for the show, now you must wait at least an hour to get in before the start of the show.

Wonderful performance by the crews. Everyone is doing their part perfectly. Not only kids all age people love it. Kudos to the team.

We watched the Frozen theatrical play. The cast was well rehearsed and the singing was great. I enjoyed it as much as my 7 year old daughter. Be sure to arrive at least 30 min before for good seating. A must see.

The Aladdin show was one of the best! This theater is little-known. Ive never been inside with it completely packed (60% full most of the time). Its a great place to relax and cool down as you watch a Broadway-level production. One of the best things to do at California Adventure during the Summer!

Saw the new Frozen play. Was wonderful! My family and I miss the Aladdin show that was playing there for so long, but this is a great improvement for the theater. Well done, Disney!

We went the second week of Frozen so there were still working out the kinks in the show. Wait times are very long and the outdoor waiting area is not set up to have you wait for that long. We got a Fast Pass to make sure we got in and still had to stand for over an hour before they let us in. Disney has been running packed attractions for decades, they should have been able to figure out a way to make customers comfortable.

The Frozen sing-along is really awesome.

Loved frozen show. Amazing show. Kids just love it. Although you have to wait a lot to get a place. Trick is to get stand in the line for the next show right after one show begins. They move you to a separate area after sometime and you can get a pass so that you can go and enjoy other rides while your place is secured. Please ask Disney staff about it.

The performances are always one of the highlights of my visit. Theyve switched out the Aladdin show for Frozen, but its still a good show.Come here to sit for a while, rest your feet, and enjoy the show.

This show was the highlight of our trip to Disney. We saw Frozen and thought the production was incredible. Its also a great opportunity to get a break from walking and standing all day.

The Aladdin show we saw here was incredible. The Genie was absolutely hilarious and was a audience favourite. Lots of seating available but the place filled up very quickly so its worth lining up well before the show is scheduled to begin.

Its closed, for now, while they prepare a new show. We saw Aladdin there and the show is just one or two steps down from a on-Broadway musical.Make it a priority to go there when they open the next (Frozen-themed?) show.

The Aladdin show is nearing completion so if you havent seen it, go! The acting, characters, story and entire productions feel like a Broadway show and the genie? He is comical and his jokes stay relevant to current news, which make it sarcastic and fun for adults. Very entertaining and a nice break from the walk as you sit down in air conditioning and in theater type seating.

I adore the Hyperion Theater! It is currently the home of Aladdin, a stage production of the beloved 90s animated movie. The 2000 seat capacity venue in the middle of California Adventure is beautiful and is the crown jewel of Hollywood Land. Ive enjoyed the production from every level in the theater and enjoyed myself every time. Even the fake curtains that adorn the outside walls are amazing!Unfortunately, the Hyperion Theater will very soon be saying goodbye to Aladdin in preparation for a production of Frozen, opening in the summer of 2016. Get there before its gone!

The frozen show was cool. I like the concessions brought to our seat. The show was 20 minutes late starting though. And we were super annoyed that we didnt get to sit with my brother who got in line an hour early while we took our 4 kids under 7 to the restroom and came back to join him in line and were told we couldnt.

We loved seeing the Aladdin show here. It was a great place to relax in in air conditioned theater and watch a quality show. Hopefully Frozen is just as good

This is an awesome theatre that once hosted the Aladdin show. Disney has now started showing Frozen, which is good but not as good as Aladdin. Aladdin will be my all time favorite show to watch here.

Currently the home of the Aladdin musical spectacular. at least until January when frozen will take over. the Aladdin show is really fun and the genie does a lot of improv. the theater itself is immense and can hold thousands

Came here to watch one of the first showings of the new Frozen show. It was a great Broadway worthy performance. My daughter loved the show and was singing the songs after. Shes 2 and has never seen the movie prior to this. Now she wants everything Frozen! The theater is well air conditioned and maintained. Great to catch shows and duck out of the heat in the middle of the day.

The Frozen show is basically a Broadway play at Disneyland! Great performance and acting. Make sure to get your fast pass early to get good seats. Show up early to get good seats. If you dont fast pass it, you will be in the nose bleed section.

Ive seen Aladdin and Frozen. Both were fantastic! I highly recommend Frozen. It is a must see! Lining up is crazy. People are impolite. Other than that the Theatre is clean and we had great balcony seats. We will go back again for sure.

Frozen show was amazing. Plan to get in line at least an hour before the show. Unfortunately, the wait and show are more than many little ones can take which can detract from the Broadway-class performance for the rest of the audience. They used to do Fast Pass for this, but not when we were there Dec 24.

The Aladdin show is top notch! Great live acting, singing and dancing. Very funny genie character. Great sets and special effects. Dont miss this amazing 30 minute stage show.

Amazing!! Frozen is done with Broadway quality actors who pull you into the Frozen world in new and exciting ways. Our girls who were Frozend out have fallen back in love with the story and music.

I loved this place for Aladdin, but Im super excited for the chances with Frozen. I do now that they are allowing food and drink inside now and will include cup holders which I have been waiting for. Not worried about the cleaning because its Disney.

The frozen show is amazing!! If you or your little one is a frozen fan you must go! Just make sure to get there early so you can beat the crowds.

Bit of an odd setup as you enter through a false facade of an entrance and then climb stairs on the outside of the building to enter the the theater. That aside the theater itself is a high capacity building offering great views of the show. The Frozen Live show offered great songs and special effects and an accurate retelling of the Frozen story. I thoroughly enjoyed the show, only opportunity would be to add some humor and treat the original material light. A must stop in your DCA day.

Excellent Broadway level productions included with the price of admission, make sure you get a FastPass (theyre free) so you can be guaranteed a seat. Saw the Frozen production and theres no way to describe it as anything other than magical. All seats offer a good enough view.

The cast is amazing, production is on the level of Broadway, and the seats are comfy. Aladdin is a great show and should be seen soon as it is going to be retired for a new show. Do you wanna build a snowman?

Aladdin was a really good show and I was super against the frozen show but dude. The frozen show is incredibly diverse in cast and just sick in general. Great show.

All the girls will love this new production of Frozen. If you like some scenes occuring in the seating area, make sure to choose the orchestra seating.

Frozen cast is amazing! I highly recommend this attraction if you have the patience to wait with a crowd (like everything else in Disneyland).

Alladin was spectacular. The Genie made several family-friendly jokes and references to modern pop culture that drew laughs and cheers from the entire audience. The performers were top notch and stunts in, around and over the audience were engaging. The show was quality entertainment that I would love to see again.

If you like stage musicals, this one at California Adventure is great fun. The genie character loves to get the audience to laugh. If you want the best view of the magic carpet ride, dont sit in the orchestra section.

The new Frozen show is fantastic. The production value is Broadway-worthy! My 6 yr old was on the edge of his seat the entire show.

Home to the Frozen Live! show, it is a huge venue. Shows fill up super quick so make sure you get there early (45+ minutes) or grab a fastpass! Pretty good viewing from everywhere in the theatre.

Very comfortable theatre. Staff was extremely helpful,accommodating and personable.

Loved it. Not only was it a beautiful theater but it was a nice break from all the walking. The Alladin show was awesome and the genie will have you laughing through most of it. A first seeing an actual flying carpet so make sure you sit so you can see the ceiling just out front of the stage or you will be cut off from view of chunks of flying carpet moments.
