I had a great time with my aviation explorer post. I would recommend it. Its also fun to kinda compete with your friends because they tally up a score at the end.

I was brought here a few years ago for a birthday experienceAfter sitting through the briefing and minor lecture we proceeded to the simulation podsThe pods would were completely stillI was expecting slight movement(minor tilting)or vibrationWhen it came time to fly the visual quality reminded me of top gun 2(old video game) with graphics turned downThis to me was a waste of time an moneyI could have gone to gamestop picked up TG2 and sat in a chair at homeIt came to my attention later that the experience for non participants(other members of my party) wasnt interesting for the first 5 minutes before requesting the game be put onI understand people have difficulty with motion or confined spaces but options should be provided if the participants make requestsWith motion in mind participants could select this option with a returnable deposit for cleaning services if there is a protein spill

This was a birthday gift for my oldest and his best friend. They loved it, as they said its very true to the real thing (both boys are taking classes to become pilots). They also gave them the option to wear uniform. Maverick and Goose were too cool for them. And at end of it all they also got a print out of how they did.

I easily made the appointment and booked a starter session. Was very informative and exciting. I love aircraft to begin with so this was a win-win for me.Did both the combat fighter jet session and I went on to the 737 simulator. Wow, a new appreciate for commercial pilots.It is a great value as it is a quality operation, clean facility and well trained enthusiastic employees.

We did a team building event here. It was really fun. You get to wear flight suits and are given dog tags, and sunglasses to keep. Your put in a jet simulator and you dog fight with other people. It was hilarious. You can speak with each other thru headsets in helmet. Highly recommend.

This was an amazing experience. It was birthday gift. We were all given jumpsuits and a 20 minute classroom instructions. There are 8 simulators and you shot each other. You have the opportunity to take off and land. Seriously was fun!!!

I never ride any theme park rides and I frequently get motion sick so I was a bit apprehensive about the whole process. However, this experience was amazing! The flight instructors were great and the staff was so friendly and helpful. The planes do not actually move so I never felt queasy or scared at all. This was a great experience and I highly recommend it!

This place is awesome! Well planned, well laid-out, well operated, and fun as hell. This is a great group activity, but make sure you make a reservation.I went with four others and it appears up to eight can go at one time.The flight simulation was fun and definitely wear the gear to get character.

This was a pretty cool experience being able to suit up and get to do dogfight in fighter jets. It was super easy to understand and enjoy. Id definitely do this again with more friends

I took my brothers to Flightdeck for an early Fathers Day celebration and we had the best time! From the opening training to suiting up to the actual dog fight and simulator experience, it was all handled with top-notch execution and from a very fun, knowledgable (and patient) staff/crew. Looking forward to visiting again and improving my jet landing skills lol

It was an interesting one-time experience to try flying. While my results were less than to be desired, I’m glad I gave Flightdeck a try because new adventures are exciting.I found the session to be well-organized, with detailed training. The uniform added an authentic pilot look, and the assistants were patient and friendly.The simulator was great. If I were to make a suggestion, I’d add motion to the plane as some arcade rides have. But the event was a good deal overall.

This is a wonderful place to visit if you are in the area and want to experience something different. Just to point out their customer service is wonderful! They opened the place for us to come in and play! Anyways, we come in they tell us about the tutorial and how to fly the plane simulation. There is a uniform you can wear to be fully immersed and the list goes on. I just want to say one thing the sheets at the end to show who won are spot on! Keep up the good work guys!

Came here for my brothers birthday, absolutely made our day! I signed him up for FOX 1, 2, and 3. After the first briefing i knew right away i had to have my sister I join him so we jumped onto the Fox 2 session. The setup is immaculate, the people there love what they do and it shows. Everything was clean and the way you get immersed into the atmosphere is unreal.Once inside the sims, the sound, feeling, and experience is truly amazing, really lives up to expectations. Cant wait to come back!

I did the Boeing 737 60-minute option. My instructor for the day was Gavin (Experienced Navy F-18 Pilot). Let me start off by saying he was absolutely phenomenal and professional. He is filled with aviation knowledge and experience. He projected his enthusiasm on me today and was very thorough about explaining everything. This was my first time in a flight simulator and Flightdeck blew my mind away. I highly recommend Flightdeck and Gavin for anyone interested in experiencing a flight simulator.

Had a fun time flying with my family. We went as a group of 5. There was a 30 min classroom that taught flight instruction basics before we each loaded our fighter jet planes. We flew in battle against each other and had landing assignments. Fun experience. Will definitely do it again

I had a great time with some of my buddies and friends... They had a lot of fun, including me! Instructional staff/helpers were very nice, and understanding with situations, and they helped us a lot many times when we were confused, but the experience was fun! 10/10 would recommend, WOULD go back, but I live somewhat far away, so I cant go there all of the time.. Overall, great time!

We had a great time doing the Fox 1 & 2 programs. But, there was a lot to learn in the first 30 mins. Also Fox 2 needed more training in the simulator before turning into the combat simulation, esp for those who have never played video games. The instructors were fun and used appropriate vocabulary for the novices. The staff were all pleasant and helpful. You could tell they wanted us to have a good time.

We had a great experience at Flightdeck! The staff really took good care of us and flying the fighter jets was a blast. We were also able to fly the 737 which was pretty realistic!!

It is a fun place to spend one to two hours. When I walked in, the fighting jet sounds were all around and made my heart pump fast. The whole experience was good but the only thing did not work for me was my stimulation screen was having technical problems in the beginning and it did take away the excitement.

This was the most realistic flying Experience I ever had. The staff are great and the pilot who was with me was super friendly and wanted to help me become a pilot. He taught me a lot skills and helped me learn to land a plane. I really recommend going, I did the 737 and it was the best and most realistic experience I ever had.

My dad and I did the fighter pilot simulation where we got compete with other people in a dog fight and landing. The staff are super friendly and eager to share the experience with their visitors. I highly recommend visiting sometime!

Staff was very friendly and flexible with our party. We had small kids and people late for the simulation but they were understand and helped us out with a few little things we missed. They let us use their kitchen and even gave us some ice when we were short! I would highly recommend for a party. You can bring your own food and drinks. It was a combined bday party setting and it was great.

Went there with 5 twelve-year-olds. They had a blast! The crew was enthusiastic and handled the excited tweens with ease.

The experience was absolutely fantastic. The only suggestion I might have is that the simulated air flight in air be specified before the time allotted fight starts because it was unclear if there were teams or individuals were fighting each other. Also the headsets were not set up for the people to talk to each other correctly otherwise it was a fantastic experience I would do it over and over and over again

Great experience for my 13 year old son. A little more briefing time before the flying would have been good. Super cool for him and even fun for me and my other sons to watch. He wants to do it again.

It was a lot of fun! The cockpit does not move but it feels so real still and like I said so much fun!

This was a day trip my wife and I took. The class was great and we had a lot of fun flying the F-16 simulator. The staff were very friendly even when other customers were rude to them. This is a must for anyone who loves aviation. We booked the 737 for next week. I’m really happy we found this place!

Overall good experience. I say good and not great only because I think it would be nearly impossible to give that rating unless the cockpit moved around in conjunction with your maneuvering. It was better than I expected, and Flightdeck provide a professional, clean, and fun experience. It was much harder than I thought it was going to be. I’ve never flown a F16 jet so my opinion is that of a 43 year old man who played way more than my fair share of video games during teenage years and early 20s. The graphics were good, better than home video games and they provide a 5-10 min overview, but maybe after takeoff, there could be a tutorial. You see the jet bank right, then you do it. See it Roll left, then copy that action. Finally, a tutorial on when a foe is in your sites would be helpful. They go over what to look for and maybe this is just because I learn by doing and if I could see it then replicate it, I think it would be a tad easier. All in all, it was a good experience and the staff was nice. Any friend or family who wants to do this, id definitely go back. I recommend putting the flight suit on. Mine was comfortable and If there was a way to accidentally take one home with me I would have. Finally, final score: I had 5 kills and ended up as the Top Gun!

Awesome! Did the Boeing 737 sim, They let you do emergency landings with one engine out, definitely gets that adrenaline pumping

The instructions during briefings are very clear, and all the equipment is very clean and neat. Flying the jets itself is also really amazing and fun. Definitely come here if you can!

Amazing for a team building. Great time for my team, the staff were amazing and the jeopardy trivia was a blast too.

Enjoyed the simulation. We were first timers, so we werent intimately familiar with the controls. The instructions were given fast and furious. The staff were all very polite and professional. Wish we could have practiced a bit more before going into the dog fight, but I guess thats how they get you to do the next level. All in all it was fun. We would do it again, but not the top of priorities.

I purchased the Fox 1,2,3 series for my son who is wanting to become a Navy pilot. After the experience he is now more than ever to become a pilot. It was a Great experience. The staff at Flightdeck were very helpful and made it a very enjoyable experience. Highly recommend.

We took a simulator ride with Dexter in the B737. My Dad had flown years ago he had a blast! Dexter was awesome and patient. I highly recommend this for a Father’s Day outing.5 stars.

Flying a fighter jet has been a fantasy of mine since I was a child and Ive stumbled upon flight deck when I was browsing a page on things to do in Anaheim. The experience is more than pleasant to say the least, I was guided and taken care of by Gilbert whos a really great guy, hes very courteous and knowledgeable. The briefing for Fox3 was done by Gilberts boss, another great gentleman whose name Ive sadly forgotten.Ive had Fox1, Fox2 and Fox3 all of which were great experiences. Actually I feel Ive had a bit more than my moneys worth as theyve insisted that I repeat Fox2 since I didnt get a time separator between both. Will certainly do this again and its some of the best money Ive ever spent.

Lots of fun! I did the 737 Sim, and we did a pre-flight set up, took off, put the plane on auto pilot for a few turns, then I tried to land at John Wayne airport. After that miss, my instructor set me up for approaches to LAX, and after a few rough landings, I got it to at least survivable. Then we finished with some approaches and landings on an island near Bermuda..?? As I said, good fun, and I learned a ton. Very positive, calm instructor. I really recommend this experience.

The most fun experience I have had in a while. A 1.5 hour fighter jet session costs $59 and includes a tutorial and hands-on on take off, combat and landing. The simulators do not move so it is good for people with motion sickness. However, the experience would have been much better if it did. Weapons include heat-tracking missiles and machine guns and you can play against other players.I recommend this to any one in Los Angeles.

Great time for my cousins bachelor party!

I took some of my 8th grade students on a field trip here. They absolutely loved every minute of it! The staff was great; they were very patient, helpful, and informative. Id definitely recommend this experience to others.

My son and I shared two 1 hour 737 sessions. It is a very realistic, non-motion simulator. The instructor was very familiar with the simulator and 737 operations. He lead us through scenarios appropriate to our experience (me: private pilot, 200hr single-engine land; adult son: varied simulator experience). We had a fun and instructive time flying various departures and approaches.

Definitely coming back. Tip: when they say you have to hold the trigger for 3 seconds for the missiles to launch, they mean it!

Great place to kill a few hours. The simulators are great you will experience take off, combat and landing. I recommend to buy the two pack, you will go back to back and dont have to wait if you want to go again. My son is a pilot and got Top gun. Definitely will come back.

Slightly aged facility and it shows, but my girlfriend and I still had fun. Price point regarding the age of the equipment is arguably higher than I imagine most would pay for in a repeat visit. A half hour introductory flight in a real plane through your local flight school with one additional guest usually costs about the same as paying for two people to dogfight here.Tldr fun but a bit overpriced. Good for rainy days, if good weather, go take a real flight.

With couple years of flight sim experience, the switches and controls were exactly where I expected them to be, checklist and procedures went as exactly as I knew, and the whole flight experience felt like I was flying a real 737-800.This is a must-try for a flight simmers in California! Especially if you fly home flight simulators, (FSX, P3D, or X-Plane) it would be a nice addition to your aviation experience.Thanks for great experience, FlightDeck! Maybe Ill come back.

Went here for a team builder event with our company. We had a small team and even though we didnt know each other really good (i.e. most of us worked remote) we really had a good time. I miss those days!

Did the Fox 1 flight with the F16. Great experience. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They explain the basics in a short class and let you practice flying before actually dogfighting. Cockpits are fantastic. You get to try landing a couple times too. If you are on the fence, dont pass this up.

A fun simulation. You get to fly an F16 simulator in an all out dogfight. Two attempted landings and a few minutes if practice before the fight. They have communications with your party. Simulators have a lot of functions but starting level one is very basic. You learn more in each session you go. The short lecture before getting on the simulator is a must and very informative. At the end they give you a print out of your performance.Age limits are greater than 11 years old, however they do have 6 simulators for children but it is reserved for birthday parties.

WOW!!!!! What a great experience. Flying a 737 sim was on my bucket list. I was not let down at all. It was a great experience I will never forget. My instructor was great and very knowledgeable about the systems. I was worried when I found out it was not a full motion simulator, however, once you are in the captains seat with the screens around you, it sure does feel like your moving and very realistic. I would recommend for any flight simmer. I cant wait to go back again.

Pretty fun, long drive from LA. Would have loved to spend more time in the 737 simulator. Fighter dogfight is fun but no rudder.
