Good place to grab a bite specially when you just finished with all the mountain activitys that surround the area.. and definitely worth the stop if your deciding to drive the scenic route. Great service all around.

Very nice staff. However the food is glacially slow to get served. We ordered three sandwiches, Sunday at 1pm and not croweded. Took 50 min to get our food and people who came in half hour after us got food before we did. All three of our to go orders were wrong

Friendly staff, decent food. Good atmosphere. Plenty of seating away from the bar if you want that.Faster to drive down the hill and eat here than wait around at Discovery if youre doing a half day.

Chicken dinner was great. Salad bar was small but good. Change of shift as we arrived and I was glad a new bartender came on duty. Day bartender ignored us since she was entertaining friends and appeared to be drinking. Nice place with excellent views and right on the lake.

Great little bar, I go here Everytime I go out skiing at Discovery. They have good prices and great food. Not to mention its nice and warm in there! Love the place.

I understand that it was busy, but it took almost two hours for our food to get to the table. When I got my food, my chicken was still bloody in the middle as if it werent cooked all the way. Instead of waiting another hour or more for them to make it cooked, we just paid our bill and left. Other than those two problems, it was a nice environment.

Informal booking. Took name and phone number for last room available late Friday afternoon. Checked in with bartender as instructed. Quaint room as described in other reviews. Clean and tidy. Outdated, however. Old bedding. NO hot water. Ran it for 20 minutes two different times. Didnt bother complaining. We were just sleeping to go ice fishing in the morning. Electric furnace is loud and runs off and on all night. The outside lights went off at 6 am, just when I was trying to load my truck up. Went over to bar/restaurant to check out, no coffee to go. Had lids, no cups. That sucked. In all, its fine if youre just trying to crash. Nothing special. Paid $95 including tax. I guess its better than staying in Anaconda and driving there in the morning or driving the 2 hours from Helena. The food and service at the bar were much better.

We stayed here two nights. The room was adorably decorated and immaculately clean. The breakfast we had at the attached bar/restaurant was absolutely delicious. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. What a wonderful part of our vacation. Would definitely stay here again and again.

Had their famous Broasted Chicken and it was pretty amazing. They have excellent local beers on to as well. I enjoyed their JoJo’s, which are breasted and battered potato wedges. Everything was tasty and filling for a reasonable price.

Great location on the edge of Georgetown Lake. The closest bar to Discovery, it is at the intersection where you turn to go to the mtn. The interior is classic, including a pool table and enough TVs to watch sports. The prices are also reasonable. The staff has been fairly poor during both of my visits, with multiple people giving up on ordering beers after extended wait times, despite being medium busy. The locals seem at best annoyed by the presence of visitors (one told my brother to go back to Missoula). However, I will return since they have a relative monopoly but will hope for a better experience.

Seven Gables is the place to start your day when visiting Georgetown Lake! The staff is friendly and the food is hearty and a great value. Highly recommended.

Our family really enjoys going to this quaint little restaurant. The service is amazing and the food is always great. Especially the Buffalo chips. I cant ever go here without getting any.

Its so close to Discovery that it makes good for short trips.

Room smelled of dog feces, after an hour had to open the windows to air out. Found the dog feces 3 hours later under a rug...looked as though the feces was picked up however it smeared under the rug and across the carpeting. Bed was comfortable and the restaurant next door was pleasant.

Called ahead, single bed room quoted at 79.00. Arrived and it was 89.00. Remote in room did not work in room 105. No sound, unable to turn on and off. Manager said he would reprogram remote; he did not. Would not stay here again!

Great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner if around Georgetown Lake. Get to meet some locals and the staff is always friendly. At breakfast one day, the bartender came over and held my sister in laws baby so she could finish her breakfast while it was hot. Fun place.

What a disappointment, we were told that this was a great dinner place and found it to be awful. Fish and chips were not fully cooked, chicken fried steak was tough. If possible the service was worse. Our server never checked back to ask, if she had I’d have told her all this. We will not be back to the 7 Gables

Wow, I had the best time the other morning. I had just woken up after another crazy brewfest in Phillipsburg MT. I had to ear and my friend knew to take me to 7 gables. I am.sooo happy I went. My coffee was never less than half full. My breakfast sandwich eas.dead on! Highly recommend

Its a place to gather, but it is average food and the place needed renovated 25 years ago

I had a rather good BLT; the accompanying buffalo chips are always a favorite. And of course a choice of six or eight draught beers rounds it out. Fun chatting at the bar with the barkeep and other patrons.

Okay place...slow service and our food was a bit cold when it finally arrived at the table. Go here for drinks, not food. Its been better so 3 stars...vs the 2 I should have rated it.
