Sitting area was clean and the wait staff was super friendly and happy to have us. I had three others in my party and none of us are small people but to our amazement we were stuffed with leftovers to take home. I had the hot meatball sub and it was excellent. The bill came to $73.27 with appetizers so that’s another plus.

Delicious and fast service! For once the burger I ordered actually came out medium... and the price was decent. Very satisfied!

I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in. The food was amazing. Their sauces were to die for. Large portions but very reasonably priced. Service was great. I can see why they made top 10 places to eat in Amsterdam.

A welcoming atmosphere with very friendly staff. The chat with the helpful waitress was fun and informative.Tasty and hearty food was well presented. The Potato Skins and the Russian Cabbage and Beef soup were filling and very tasty.

Absolutely loved the food and the service was fantastic. He was very attentive made sure that my wife and I had everything we need. We went for lunch had the Bourbon swiss burgers and it was too much to eat at one sitting. Would highly recommend Shortys Southside Tavern

While the staff is small they work super hard, are professional, and never make you wonder where they are. Polite and very attentive. We would love for them to deliver!!! Nice little tavern with a bar and dining room area. Food was good. Haddock baked with capellini/marinara sauce and brocolli with a side salad was delicious. Service was excellent. Quiet on weekday lunchtime. Wifi complimentary access available.

The wife and I had supper here on a Saturday evening. A little neighborhood place with that local neighborhood atmosphere. Our waitress was exceptional in her service and friendly. My wife had the pulled pork sandwich and fries, I had the Quesadilla with Jack sauce. And the portions? Ill put it this way, Ill be having 2 more meals and my wife will have another meal with the leftovers. And the cost? $25 plus we left a $5 tip. Shortys is very much worth the trip and we will definitely be going back.

Had a pulled pork appertizer that was absolutely delicious! Served with both nachos and fries. Loaded with onions too. Had the pulled pork sandwich with mac salad. Huge amount of pork. Also had the onions, and dicrd pickles, which added a lot, but were not overwhelming. The portions were very generous. The place is loud, as the bar on the side was packed with snowmobilers having a great time. In summary, I loved the food and the place.

Went on a walk on the pedestrian bridge and afterwards decided to get a bite of food. I got the bacon, bacon and more bacon and my son got macaroni and cheese. The food was great. The waitress was very good, and overall it was a great experience to wrap up a nice walk.

I am so thankful for the consistency of the food prep. When I need to take someone for a business lunch I am confident of what my guests will be getting. I can look at the menu and tell them what to expect. Thank you Bob and Carla!

Nice little neighborhood place that doesnt make a stranger feel odd! Friendly staff. I found his theiugh recommendations and am not disappointed. Its less an Italian place and more a bar than has nice bar food and a few Italian dishes. I had the jack Daniels quesidilla...very nice.
