I love this facility. so far, have just used the pool. will try the machines eventually. did browse the gym area upstairs. seems well equipped.

Im working with the physical therapy department. They are very good at what they do.. Would very strongly recommend this facility if you are in need of help.

Who would guess that at a Health Center you would have a beautiful playground and water park for kids to play, thats a safe area. You do have to pay to get in but it is worth it, its only like $2 or something like that. I highly recommend it.

Price is good people are awesome the atmosphere of this place is wonderful. Plan on going back the workout are amazing.

Its an affordable and fun way to get some excersize. The staff keeps the pool and the locker rooms clean. Overall, it was a great experience.

Took my son to play at the splash pad. It cost $4 for both of us and he had a blast! He played in the water and went on the swing and slide. I wish they had a kids pool outside so we could enjoy the weather, but they have a nice pool inside. Im getting my son signed up for swim classes there as well. Ive used the gym upstairs and it is well kept with plenty of machines to use and some free weights. Im also aware they offer fitness classes, but I never attended any of them. The staff was always nice and accommodating to client needs.

Always fun at the splash pad just wish when someones diaper exploded with the gel pieces it could have been cleaned out so no one had to worry about there kids going in it but all in all son loves it here

Went here for over a year, mostly for the weight deck. The clientel is mostly retirees, and the machines are good. Cons, they dont fix anything in a timely manner and the free weights are a limited set of dumbells.Still better than PF.

Nice pool with a slide, but has limited lifting equipment. Dumbbells and pulley equipment but no bench or squat rack. Lovely and helpful people at the desk. Only 7$ walk in fee.

Nice facility for the most part people are friendly. Hot tub and therapeutical pool has restricted hours makes it a little bit cumbersome to be able to utilize when you want. They have food available snack type. Theres a workout room with a track. Plenty of parking and wheelchair accessibility is available including parking. Very easy to spot from the road.

The physical therapy staff was wonderful. Helped provide much needed stability and movement improvement.

I went there last weekend and paid $42 for my whole family to swim and have a good time, so I thought.We received such horrible attitudes from the staff, so many stares and felt as if we were being harassed. We were unaware that kids could not swim in the therapy area so when the shift supervisor informed us he talked to us as if we were nobodies. He had the worst attitude, extremely unprofessional.Later my sister tried to buy a beverage for her Autistic son the supervisor again told her no with the worst attitude. He claimed the snack area was opening at 7pm, which was clearly a lie because I bought. beverage for my son when we got there at 3pm.We felt as if we were not wanted there and as if were less than. On top of that my disabled mother need to borrow a wheelchair the supervisor again yanked it off the floor without so much as asking her of she was done with it.That is definitely not hospitality. I work in a nursing home in Avon if I acted even halfway like this jerk Supervisor I would be in trouble. We enjoyed swimming, but courtesy goes a long way. We paid just like everyone else, why such horrible attitudes. I think management need a hospitality training seminar.

Receptionist was nice. 1st time visiting to enjoy the pajamarama with my family. Was fun and relaxing.

$7 to swim in a tiny pool indoors... No diving... The water slide is only turned on once in awhile and the lifeguard acts like its a problem to sit there.... Locker room is cold as ice.... Not for kids at all..

The staff at this location are very friendly and helpful, we were told we could take a tour at our leisure or someone could show us around. We were informed about rules in the pool and how we could take our grandchildren/children who do not know how to swim yet with life jackets. Very friendly

They shouldnt charge for adults who dont participate. Ive got an elderly mother who like to watch my children play but cant go out and participate so its pointless to charge for elderly adults

Nice facility with outdoor Splash Pad for children. Facility is easily accessible by the highway and close to other stores and food places.

Its a great place to go swimming for 7.00 dollars for as long as you like. At least until they close on that day.

Sorry but I was not impressed. First its very expensive, 1 indivigual +3 is $1000 annually. I only paid 240.00 per year for family of 5 at the Middleburg hts rec. Its like club med compared to this white box. I almost slipped on the pool deck. Only barely walking because its so slick. A woman did fall in the hall. Also absolutely no place to sit around the pool. The workout area is not just ok. The best value is splash pad.

Mercy Health and Recreation Center is a beautiful facility located on Lorain County MetroPark land and managed in partnership with Mercy. The cost of membership runs $33.33/month plus $20/month to take fitness classes. There is apparently no Senior rate and Mercy does not accept a Medicare fitness program, Silver Sneakers.I have been a longtime supporter of the MetroParks and at one time actively campaigned for levies. However I will not vote for the current levy in November 2014.

Had scheduling snafu. My schedule called for occupational therapy at 4pm. However, someone changed the schedule to2pm but never told us. It took 20 minutes to let us know that we never showed.up for our 2pm appointment. If you change the schedule, you must inform us!!!!

Really love the splash Pad but, the life guard was non responsive yesterday when My granddaughter was plowed over by a group of kids running. Parents need to get on their own kids about watching smaller kids.. b.c My Granddaughter really got hurt yesterday. Moms said so sorry.. but, nothing was said to the kids to slow down and watch out.. If they cant seem to slow down then maybe its not a good idea to bring them. A group of kids were running and ran into my granddaughter so hard she literally flipped her body off the ground and landed on her head and face.I know things happen.. I know that.. and its possible.. for anything.. I know that too.. But, it would have been a good idea to have a talked with your kids after that.. or the lifeguard.. B.c kids are not looking out for other kids.. The parents have to help them.. I KNOW kids will be kids.. but, someone has to help them realize they have to watch out for the little ones..Or put an Age limit on the park..SO Faster response time for injuries.. and more control on the running..We missed out on a lot of fun b.c. of this..
