Late season golf at its finest. The course was in fantastic shape prices were cheap the staff was awesome.
LOTS of bunkers on this course but still a fun course. Although busy, pace of play was very good. Four hour round for a foursome is not bad at all. Course is well maintained and in very good condition.
Their signage is poor, but the golf course is fantastic. The Pro shop personnel was great. The burgers at the end was awesome. I wished I grab a few for the ride home.
Nice course. Flat with a ton of fairway and greenside bunkers. Tee to green, the course is in great shape. Cost is a bargain. My one criticism is the bunker sand. Its coarse, thin, and loaded with stones. Invest in some decent sand, and its 5 stars.
Nice course. Well maintained. Simple layout but plenty of trees and more sand than a typical beach keep it interesting
Fun nice course . Dont forget your sandwedge
Great driving range! Course is loaded with sand traps and no benches for seniors!
Good course, friendly staff and good food.
Nice staff taking the pandemic restrictions seriously. Expected the course to be in better shape than it was. $72 for weekend round with a cart.
A bit of rain but the course was in good shape
Nice walkable course. Mostly flat
Nice enough place. Over priced a little but solid course
The layout here is pretty challenging. All holes are tree-lined and many fairway bunkers await. The course favors a right-to-left ball off the tee. All curved/bent holes go left. But it is playable with a left-to-right ball.Conditions are good during the growing season, particularly the greens. They are quick with many undulations. There are roughly 3 million bunkers to navigate. You WILL be in the sand. Unfortunately, the bunkers are...suspect. Lots of stones in them. I think theres even a local rule about moving them. The fairway bunkers are basically lose dirt.I wish the course were longer. Theres room to add new back tees on quite a few holes. Fingers crossed.
Friendly staff. A nice course in good shape. Mostly long straight holes. Fairly flat. With the word Woods in the name expect a lot of trees along the fairways. An enjoyable course to play.
Great course well maintained Pro shop staff was very helpful and friendly. The course is challenging and alot of fun to play. Greens Fees were reasonable for such a good course would highly recommend Souhegan Woods
This please is great. Speed of play is the best part. The rangers are active!!
This course reminds me of being down south. Its pretty flat but there are a lot of trees and not a lot of forgiveness. Also the course has a lot of bunkers. Overall the prices were fair and the course was in good shape. I will be back, when I can hit it straight.
Great golf course. Maintained really well, price was reasonable. Pace of play really kept it moving too. Would recommend!
Had a wonderful time playing golf withour Grandson Jarad.Hes a great golfer.
I think it is an excellent course. Easy to get tee time. Plays well.
Friendly pro shop and starters. Played on a Sunday early afternoon and pace of play was excellent. Sand abounds, but it wasnt soft enough to cause any issues. Course was in fantastic shape, greens were really fast but consistent, so it was easy to adjust after a few holes. Will play here again for sure
Good course in good shape and with reasonable prices
Good course...just stay on the fairway
Love this Golf Course. Great shape.
Awesome course love my time there this morn first time I played this course but will definitely play here again greens were fabulous
Nice course. Everything well groomed and maintained. Challenging course for average golfers with plenty of bunkers and fairways not too wide. Greens were fast.
Very nice course, also friendly staff. Cant wait to play there again
A hidden gem that many dont know about. Friendly staff and a challenging course. I always enjoy playing there. It is the home course for Merrimack High School. The only thing that would keep me from making it a 5 is they dont have memberships. It is owned by the Friels who also own Green Meadows.
Great place, great people, they will help you out there.
Very nice golf course. Excellent condition
Great shape very few people never rushed. Greens in excellent shape
Nice place off the beaten path kinda,, We, my friends and I call the place the beach,, Because there is so many bunkers Im guessing close to 100,, 6 or 7 on most holes, and in all the wrong PLACES,, We allways have a side bet of $20 bucks each if any of us can play 18 WITHOUT HITTING A BUNKER.. I can only remember 2 or 3 times in the past 15 or so years that any one of us has collected on that cash at the end of a round.
Course is not too bad. Not anything spectacular but the part that gives this place a low rating is the consistently terrible customer service and general attitude of the staff. Always short, always not smiling, I am quite sure they just dont like people under 50. I am done going there.
The burger was good. The only thing is that they missed or forgot to put it in. Waited way to long for it.
Great golf course. Played today. Senior rate with cart $44.
Great course, well kept and there was a nice flow to it. John the pro was very friendly and helpful.
Souhegan could have been a great course but this place has a reputation for having way too many sand traps. People warned me about it before I played there for the first time and I thought they were exaggerating and I was amazed to see how many bunkers there were.Im talking 3 or 4 of them on every single hole, and most of them are the size of Rhode Island, I swear. You cant help but hit into them. Very poor design which some people would call challenging my friends and I called annoying. A challenging course has doglegs, water, and other obstacles besides huge islands of sand around every green. The other problem was they cram your teetimes in--very rushed feeling for a Friday morning. We werent playing that slowly at all and the starter came around in a golf cart TWICE to nag us to pick up the pace, when we were almost on top of the people in front of us! The second time he came it was within 10 minutes of the first time and my buddy asked him if he thought we were deaf or not, seeing as he just told us 10 minutes earlier to pick it up. He got annoyed and sped away. Good riddance. So, as I said, overrated. There are better places to play in Southern NH. The fairways are kept up well and the course has long, straight fairways, but with the acres of sand and surly employees Id rather golf elsewhere.
Greens were not it good shape! red, white and blue markings were hard to find or non existent. And not one cooler of water on the course at any hole... Too pricey for that type of crap....Also sand traps for the most part were not sandy just flat land with no grass and a sprinkling of sand, with quite a bit of small stones mixed in....
I enjoy playing at Souhegan golf course. The greens and fairway are usually in good shape. The pro shop is well stocked with a good variety of clubs and equipment. Staff is friendly. I like the snack bar. They serve beer or wine coolers along with breakfast and lunch items.Only complaint is the starter can seem a bit annoyed by the presence of golfers which is weird because without golfers he doesnt have a job. Also there are alot of sand traps. I wish there were a few more doglegs or water hazards.Other than that Souhegan is a great place to relax and play some golf.
We had a great day of golf at SWGC!
Played a fall season round, the course was beautiful from firs to girs, if your in the area I would definitely recommend the course
I really enjoyed this course. The greens were nice and fairways were perfect. The staff was nice and poliete, but some of the people who go there are very ignorant. They legit called the pro shop on us because we were going to slow for them. Which we wernt. They called the shop twice. The staff was nice, but the starter seemed to be irrattated about everything.
Excellent shape friendly staff. Johnny is a good pro and manager
Course is in great condition. Little on the expensive side; $29 for 9 holes walking.
Awesome course. Best round of golf ever.
Better public courses in NH... was very disappointed by whole experience... first course in NH besides the Shattuck that Ill probably never play again...
Decent golf. But needs better beer
Friendly staff good food and drinks!
Conditions are great... Lots of challenges!
Great course thanks
Course is in good condition.

Great golfing place
Great course and staff
Fun and interesting course
Friendly course, mostly locals.
On the weekends the start people of the front and back beware. Slow play, bunkers everywhere, decent shape at best.
