Its a great asset to the Western Massachusetts community with performers and events from around the world.
Max Richter played live in October, and the UMass Fine Arts Center did a great job of hosting his performance. The auditorium is quite large. The seats are nice. The sound travels well. Overall. The center seems clean. There were refreshments available that were good. The seats are easy to find and access the way the UMass fine arts center was built. I recommend this place for a romantic date night for a good classical concert or dance performance.
Went to a concert at the Fine Arts Center. Parking was easy. Friendly students to direct me to the correct building. And terrific concert. An experience that left me smiling!
The jazz night was magical ️️
My son had a choir performance here and it was a really nice place.
Listened to UMass Concert Band. They were very good for being an open, all-school band rather than just being specific to the music department. The balance was good, the dynamics were, for the most part, followed, and no clunkers were obvious. Also, being an old person, i got in for pretty cheap. If youre looking for something to do, this has my recommendation.
Love UMASS and the area..
The building is beautiful, and they have a lot of fun activities hosted there. I was there for the ballroom team dance lessons provided for free every Monday. The only downside is parking is pretty terrible if youre a commuter. There are maybe 10 spots out back.
Top event venue in W. Mass.
Good venue to see a show. They try to find a wide variety of entertainment. Mezzanine and balcony are not for the faint of heart if you dont like heights, but provide good views as well.
Amazing space to see dance. Looking forward to a play:)
The ambience and effects are world class. The staff is helpful and tickets are at a discounted rate for students.
I saw Stomp here. The acoustics are good and the seats comfortable.
Decent shows and building, but they need more bathrooms (especially in the lobby)
Very good acoustics. The UMass orchestra was excellent!
Went 2 a sho w my fiance...had a great time
Easily accessible for all who go there.
I went for multibands and it was the best thing ive seen ever, AND I ONLLY HAD TO PAY $16
Very institutional. The theater is in a cement box of a building with a smell like a high school gym during a basketball game. The performance was great, but it is not a place I would choose to go to.
The art museum is kinda small. The concert halls are alright. The concrete gets kinda ugly. Its mediocre at best.
Easily accessible, excellent seating and acoustics.
Im not a fan of the brutalist architecture. The acoustics are pretty good though. Seats are so so.
Very comfortable on a hot, humid evening. Slept through the entire program.
Looks beautiful at night
Great show by the UMass concert orchestra. Senior Tix for only $5!
The best venue for fine arts in the valley, FAC attracts some of the best dancers, theater, and musicians from around the world improving the quality of life for all.
I love all the management and staff there .Very polite and always try to think of new and different shows.,
Polite staff and very helpful - was supposed to be closed but allowed me in alone due to it being my last day in the area!
Nice exhibit space and a superb venue for musical performances with the acoustics, cleanliness, and staff being amazing. This is a great place to see a show.
