I thought it would be special to visit this store since I haven’t been here since I was a kid. My boyfriend and I were literally shooed out of the basement like dogs by a rude old man. I was going to buy fish and a new tank to support a local business but not here now. I hope this isn’t the business owner, if so he should be ashamed of his behavior.

Great store to find a new model. Owner is also pretty cool. Keeps you up to date with new arrivals.

I don’t know if the old guy working here is an employee or the owner, but he is super rude and was literally yelling at me and told me to leave for going downstairs to look at the fish with another person (I guess only 1 person at a time is allowed..) he could’ve told me in a civil way without throwing a tantrum. I just apologized and left without saying anything else.. he got so escalated, he actually scared me.

Store prices are reasonable but a little high on the aquariums... The guy downstairs isnt the most friendly and his selection is very limited. The. Cellar would do well with a remodel that allows for a much larger selection and one that would cut down on electric costs since each aquarium is ran individually. It is a cool store though the train and model hobby stuff is fun to browse...

I found what I was looking for with ease, The smell of cigarettes was a little off putting but overall I would reccomend if you are looking for what you may need

Ben Franklin franchise has been gone a long time this place is like steeping back in time. lots of new old stock and gems from the past. the owner is very knowledgeable on the hobby items he stocks just a good place to walk around and remissness

Love this place it takes me back and they have awesome fish.

If your looking for a place that will have anything that was ever fun or cool this is it. Models,toys,rc,trains,novelties,hobby supplies, you name it. Absolutely the most awesome store around for fun things, and the people are great. Do yourself a favor and check it out.

Helpful respectful and willing to work with you on prices

They are a multitude hobby shop. They have a little of everything. Id say they specialize in fish, trains, and small pets the most. The man in charge of the fish area is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The owner is polite, helpful, and kind. They have worked with me on back orders for model railroading. I would recommend them for some hobby supplies and definitely for fish or aquarium supplies.

I used to love coming here as a kid. Pulled up and my girl parked a little crooked and the drunk dude in the basement decided to make fun of her parking to another customer and honestly it irked me enough that I just about clocked the dude. Then the dude proceeds to have the worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with and talked us out of buying a fish from them. I’d recommend going to pet supply plus.

Worst place i have ever been to the old man thats the owner is so rude we were trying to buy a peacock amd he raised the price as we were trying to buy it snatched a bottle of coat stress out of my hand and kept giving me dirty looks i would not recommend this place to anyone

Very cool old fashioned place with some toys, lots of models- especially cars and planes but also motorcycles and military, small but well stocked train section (mostly HO), and small pets in the back including a good selection of aquariums and cages. Also a few office supplies and household necessities.Plus the people are super nice and even special ordered some models my kid was looking for.It really took me back to my childhood.

Went in to get my grandson a rocket. People were very helpful and knew what we needed.

Came to visit Neptunes cellar in the basement. They offer a varied selection from gold fish to South American and African cichlids to saltwater. Keep in mind space is limited so if you are looking for specifics you may want to call ahead. The Ben Franklin part made me feel like a 12 yr old kid again with different toys, models, and train sets. In the day and age of Amazon its nice to see a brick and mortar store still offering the experience from our youth.

Everyone was very helpful, especially when one our radio control cars had a problem, contacted the owner & he switched the car out, 2 days before Christmas!

Bought my first fish tank from here, Jason is the best! Really knows his stuff!

This store reminds me of my childhood and sadly not to many of these are still around. Great selection of models best Ive seen lately.. GO THERE ... go out of your way to go there .. you will not be disappointed ...

The man running the aquatics in the basement smelled outrageously strong of alcohol. He was so obnoxious and rude, and not very knowledgeable. The place smells awful. Maybe the main floor would have been cool to look through, but my children were so afraid of him we left instead.

Got most of my pets there see. Trust worthy

They Guy working downstairs was very rude, smelled of alcohol....and was rushing us!!! I got some neon tetras and some Cherry Barbs....all of the neons died within hours but so far the cherry barbs are all ok! I would save a trip there definitely better fish stores in Ohio!

I went here to get two mice and had a wonderful experience! You can tell that the people who work here really care about the animals.

A gentlemen in the downstairs area was very rude and crass, although it’s one the places to go while you’re in the area don’t expect to leave without feeling glum.

Good for buildable models but train models are way over priced

Terrible place so unprofessional lied to me about buying to male baby bunnies one both was adults and one was a female pregnant and on are way there the first time we said were gonna be a little late and they locked the door in are face 3 min late had to come back 1 hour drive never go there save yourself the trip.
