Nice quiet little beach with a super lil hike up powow hill at the far end. Caution there are no facilities here.

Nice small Lake Beach with a large parking lot, seasonal lifeguards. Great for kayaking, fishing and beautiful nature trails along the lake and up to Bachelder Park at the top of Powow Hill. The views at the top are beautiful, can see the ocean and all the way into Maine!

Only open to the residents and whomever they come with in their vehicle. There is someone checking nearby to make sure the count does not get to high. The water was mucky and filled with seaweed and other fungi. There is little to no shade, no picnic tables and only two benches. It is mixed grass and sand. It gets crowded easily.

I loved this lake when I lived right down the street. My ex-husband and our former best friend fish there every single day in the summer. They would bring home some really nice Bass. I loved it because the little fishing hole if you walk over the bridge and around the corner you will find this pristine little spot. And I would bring a cooler a book and some music while the guys would fish. We did both day and night trips there. Absolute pristine hole in the wall. so now that he is my ex-husband I will tell the entire world where that fishing spot is. Enjoy!!!!

Great place for a kayak. It connects to the Pow Wow river and goes form at least a few miles.

A good place to out a kayak or paddleboard in the water. Hard to find a place to hang a hammock, but made it work. Lots of lake weed which makes swimming undesirable..

Wonderful little spot for townies

I love this lake . I went there All the time when I was growing up. Well not only that but it doesnt help that I also lived only a minute away from the lake . But now that Im grown I love bringing my kids there.

Pokemon go players are mostly there but I love walking an swimming there nice family area

Nice beach on the lake for swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding. Family friendly atmosphere, just get there early to stake out a shady area!

Its a peaceful small beach with just enough parking. Theres decent hiking trails an a splendid view at a nearby park.

Its a really nasty place to swim on top of that there are wat too many rich white people

I felt like I was in prison. The guards didn’t let the kids fart without blowing a whistle! Nobody can have good time with those rules there! We will seek another swimming hole this season!

Great place for swimming and fishing and can bring canoe and boats no swimming floats only boats that you paddle or drive electric and gas motors are allowed

Beautiful view, always a breeze through the shade trees. Lifeguarding till 5, you can bring a small grill and have a cook out and its roped off area for swimming. I have been going there since I was a kid. Love it!

Great little beach area on the lake for a hot summer day dip, there is a trail off to one side that will takeyou North along the East side of the lakeup towards the New Hampshire border and a swim in the lake on your way back is a great idea, usually plenty of free prking and usually plenty of street spots as well, The ice-cream man makes stops there st least once a day through the summer, but Ive never seen the little canteen building in operation, so pack alunch and some drinks, or plan on a short walk to Vermettes for some supplies ;)

This is a good place for kayaking. We have our own but you can also rent them on the weekend. You can also rent paddle boards as well. There is a beach for swimming, suitable for young children.

Amesbury is my hometown. Ive been going to Lake Gardner my entire life. If you want a relaxing little place for your children to swim and play this is the perfect spot.

It looks like a nice little late, but not the best for swimming due to lots of lakeweed

Love this place, but don’t like when they are 6/8 dogs swimming at the lake, don’t have nothing bad with the dogs, but they are children and babies at the lake

Nice beach, has port-a-potties during busy season. Parking can get full. Lots of kids. Water appears red but is safe to swim in. Popular with kayakers too.

The lake isnt what I thought it was. Theres a little beach and a lot of ducks. But people say its haunted... Its not haunted. I dont like lakes but its cute.
