Art Dye Park is everything a great park should be. It’s massive, covering an area of 21.75 acres. There’s plenty of shade offered by trees, 3 softball fields, Tennis Courts, a playground, a Disc golf course, restrooms, park benches, and a dog station for picking up refuse. Did I mention the enormous parking lot? The softball fields have a concession stand in the center with restrooms and drinking fountains available. This is the location for the American Fork Steel Days celebration carnival with rides, pavilions from local businesses, and a stage for music.
One of my favorite disc golf courses! Its challenging but fun, and it is really nice on hot days because there are a lot of trees. There is pickle ball/ tennis courts, a nice playground, baseball field.Definitely a great place to go with your family!
Such a beautiful park. There is tennis and pickle ball courts and a disc golf course! The disc golf course is one of my favorites such a cool walk and lots of challenging holes. Great on hot days since most of the course is in the trees! Definitely go to this park.I hope you have a great time ! But remember to please throw your garbage in the trash can it breaks my heart seeing garbage everywhere!
This course is great. One of the most technical courses in Utah and what a great location between Salt city and Provo. This courses only downside having just installed new baskets is the General public do not seem to understand where the course lies and often decide to camp out directly on the fairways or under the Baskets and show little to no care that they are putting themselves in Danger.Commonly refusing to move when asked kindly.
Great place for a wide variety of sports from pickleball to soccer and baseball. There is also a disc golf course across the soccer field. Please watch your children when they go to play and ride bikes. Disc golf discs can seriously hurt children and the kids normally are not aware of the danger.
My go to disc golf course in the area, nice and shaded, good variety of holes. Usually quiet and good opportunity to see some nature!
This park is big and beautiful, I love the updates and improvements theyve done and continue to do. One suggestion, for the disc golf course, if they could put up trash cans by either every other tee or at least at a central point, I think that would help keep the area looking as great as it already does. Players already do a great job keeping their trash in a certain areas on the course so I think a lot of them would agree with this.
This park is awesome. Huge fields. Dog friendly. Love it
Ty ey have put a lot of work into the park. Some dry spots but over all adequate and well thought out parking.
Lawn in much better condition than in other areas. Good job guys
One of, if not the, best disc golf courses around. Difficult, unique, variety of shots, many pin placements. A lot of fun.
Fun front 9 and very challenging. Back 9 was hard to follow. Poor signage.
We went here to play disc golf. Im a beginner, and was constantly concerned about losing a disc (although I never did). It was very dusty when we played in July. Great course for the experienced player.
Great park, great benches. Theres a ton of open stretches of grass (this place is huge), several groups of playground equipment, tastefully designed parking arrangements, and an adjoining frisbee golf course. I believe its nine holes? And therere these spots of dead grass outside the boundaries, one of which with old bleachers lying around discarded in it. Its actually a really nice touch. The park is as nice as if it had just been built, but its these bleachers that make it feel like a valuable piece of a mature community.Great place to hang out.
Love their Pickleball courts. The whole park is very enjoyable.
Great park. Lots of soccer fields, pickle ball courts, softball fields, frisbee course, running trail!
Massive! In fact its so massive that youll get lost. Saturday soccer is super busy but impressive how they fit it all in. We use the west entrance near the golf course.
Pickle Ball courts have new rules and paddle holders to maximize use when all the courts are full
There are trails, shade trees, play ground equipment and wide opens spaces. We had a great afternoon enjoying this beautiful park.
Art dye is an awesome park. Lots of room lots of potential. Some sections could use a little funding and tlc.
Great park with an awesome disc golf course
Cant find the holes. Basically a dump. Cute dogs tho
Great place to enjoy family games. Lots of shade and lots of parking! Great job American Fork !
Fun, but very challenging, disc golf course. Not recommended for beginners.
Big park with lots of parking. Easy to access.
Maintained perfectly. Did hunger games with 30 people one day, found two dudes smoking pot that chased me, and heard an enormous group of people chanting in the trees one night. Great experiences, love the park.
Short and some challenging holes. Dry as a dust bowl out there. Felt like pins to next tees were often going into the line of fire from other holes.
Very beautiful in the snow!! I would have pictures but I used my Nikon and havent pulled pictures yet! A must walk. Dog friendly. Doggie bags at the beginning on the trail. Enjoy a beautiful walk.
Large open space with an awesome disc golfing course.
Super fun disc golf course lots of trees
This place doesnt have much of a playground. But it does have a huge feild. It also has 2 small playgrounds.
Great pickleball courts!
6 pickle ball courts, fast rotation.
Great courts. No windy like the west side of the lake, but usually packed with people.
Beautiful area with lots of areas to play ball!
A fun place to play frisbee golf.
Fields are good. Parking is terrible, especially with sports/activities at the same time at the south end.
Good sized Park with tennis courts base ball and soccer
Great disc golf course!
Nice big open places to bring your dog on a Sunday. But the trails and natural area were the stars for me. Along with a paved path, there are also several dirt trails, and just places in the undergrowth to wander and NOT get lost.
Great park and the pickle ball courts are the best in Utah County.
Still under construction but gonna be a killer park once completed in Summer of 2020.
This disc golf course is my favorite
Art Dye is a great place for disc golf and exploring through the trees.
The disc golf course is pretty challenging. Still fun to play for you casual golfer like myself, but I would have appreciated a few more holes where I didnt have to worry too much about losing my disk. Otherwise, the park is huge, and there is tons of parking.
I am going to give this 3 stars for a couple of reasons. The pros: It was bigger, more spaced out & more rides and games added. Cons: Absolutely NO SHADE and it was scorching hot even at 10am to the point of not feeling well so, I can only imagine what the afternoon was like, was only open for 3 days which caused an extremely crowded carnival where you spent more time in line than on the rides. It was better at the original park and being there for the full week. This was right as they were closing and we were waiting to get off the . This just gives a little view of it from the top.
Great huge park with plenty to do! Great walking path too.
Very challenging course to a non local
Great park with a variety of activities. Big open grass fields for soccer, baseball, or other games with groups. Multiple playgrounds for kids. Probably the best disc golf course around. Paths for walking and hiking. Paved path with nice gradual slope which perfect for longboarding.
Fun disc golf park but kind of a hazard with all of the broken concrete and rebar
One of the best courses in the state
We went this time to play pickleball. Huge park. Has a frisbee golf course, hiking (The Murdoch canal trail intersects). Plenty of parking. The city holds several events during the year here. Currently under construction in certain areas for expansion.
A Peaceful, tranquil nature area with disk golf, sports fields, trails, bathrooms, wildlife & playgrounds in a picturesque setting below Mt. Timpanogos. This place gets a lot of use. From the paved walking path leading onto a plateau facing East to the second highest peak in Utah as Mount Timpanogos.** wiki side note: Mount Timpanogos, often referred to as Timp, is the second highest mountain in Utahs Wasatch Range. Timpanogos rises to an elevation of 11,752 ft above sea level in the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest. Wikipedia
Frisbee golf course is beautiful.
Looks like a great park in the making. Baseball fields and a decent fairground.
Love this park! There is so much to do here.
Art Dye has come a long way! The city and residents have cleaned and updated nearly the entire park. The disc golf park is significantly cleaner and more enjoyable than it was before. The only downside is that the city uses the fairway of hole 1 as a dump for concrete and asphalt.
Will be nice when all construction is done. Nice big areas to run around.
Beautiful soccer fields.
Great Soccer game
This park is a great space! Its HUGE, with room for plenty of different sports including an awesome frisbee golf course. Art Dye is a fantastic place for family and friends. I highly recommend it!
Great park to go play a soccer game at!
Wow wide open spaces! Loved bringing my dog here. There are also pickle ball courts here.
I love art dye. This park is quite large, and offers everything from soccer fields and tennis courts to a full frisbee golf course in the sod woods. Its a great place to bring kids, and is also dog friendly too. I started playing frisbee golf here, but now i also also bring my dog to let him play and socialize with other dogs. I wish more parks could be this inclusive of diverse populations
Big clean park
This is a big park with lots of open space. There are soccer pitches, a disc golf course, a playground or two and several baseball fields. I’ve heard they recently added pickle ball courts as well. The best thing I like about it is easy access from the north end of the parking lot to the Highland City Trails and the Murdock Canal Trail. Great place to start and finish for a ride through northern Utah County. You can easily head northwest through American Fork, Highland and Lehi or southwest through American Fork, Pleasant Grove, Lindon, and Orem.
Great start to a trail. Just over a mile from playground to Highland Glen trails. (One way)
Awesome disc golf course!
It was so fun
Very beautiful, must study the history!!
I love going here to run on the trail. Plus they have a pretty cool disk golf course here.
This is our favorite disc golf course. Expect to lose your disks a few times but the course is challenging and fun!
This place has fun for everyone. It has a great frisbee golf course throughout the trees, and there are some cool places to explore. There are 2 playgrounds. Art dye also has a couple walking trails through the trees. I almost forgot! There is a pretty nice mountain/bmx trail with lots of jumps and hills and stuff. Art dye is a great place to spend an afternoon with a family.
Nice huge park with a fantastic, interesting disc golf course. Nice area for dirt biking and playing in the field or playground.
Beautiful. I cant wait until all the new amenities are finished!
Art Dye is a fabulously large park with lots of room to do all kinds of sports or events. Just wish it had a jogging trail or something
This park looks like a sports complex from the outside, but it has a very fun woodsy area to explore as well. My kids really enjoyed it.
Horrible course. Not well marked. Got lost between holes. Thorny scrub brush every where. The first hole is almost completely filled with piles of broken up asphalt. Worst course I have ever played.
Tons to do. Fields, trails, trees, frisbee golf, baseball etc
I think Art Dye is a hidden treasure in American Fork, Utah that often goes unnoticed. By the entrance it looks like a piddly park, but if you drive back into the park you realize this park is huge. Last year they hosted the American Fork days concert here and fireworks and it was a huge with thousands of people attending. The park has the normal soccer fields, baseball fields, playgrounds, tennis courts, but it is the unique things that really are cool. Hidden in the trees around the east side of the park boasts one of the best Disc Golf Courses in the State. People love this course for it is such a great challenge and uniqueness. Each station is well marked and lets you know where you need to get your disc to, what the par for the course is, and a good map. The hole is a cage like structure you need to get your Frisbee disc into. It is such a great family activity. Needing green time, this is a great idea for you and your kiddos! Park also has a new pickle-ball court. How cool is that! Also if you get there early in the morning the chances of watching a hot air balloon launch is quite high, for this is a favorite spot for launching. There are 18 holes on his course. You dont have to do them all, just grab your Frisbee and try out a few. If you run across a pro Disc Golf player you will notice they carry a sling bag across their shoulder with a few different type of discs for different throws. Just like golfers with their bag of golf clubs there are disc used for different types of throws.
What a fun park. A getaway during a getaway. Peaceful fun.
Great trails. Me and my dog both loved it!
Awesome disc golf
It is the dopest park in all the land
Although its a little longer drive than Robinson Park, We had a great time at the Steel Days activities
Great courts, snow was still on some of the courts and perfect location
Brand new Pickleball courts. Old disc golf course is awesome. With some TLC from the city, this could be the best course in the state.
Its a very nice park has a hiking trail two playgrounds a pickleball court and a nice soccer field a forest with frisbee golf honestly its a nice place to hang out
