Dogs are only allowed in the open area/land between the parking area and trails. So nice 15-20min short stroll for those with pooches. No idea about the park itself.
This looks like a beautiful low traffic trail. Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed and we had to turn around.
First time there. Nice gradual climb up the hill for great views of the Napa River and the top of San Pablo Bay. Lots of snakes showing off as well. Hike through cattle pasture so watch your step. Was surprised when pedometer showed 5+ miles.
Great open space for dogs & kids, picnic tables, vending machines, good view and large bathrooms.
Nice open space. Actually connects to Lynch Canyon so you can get a lot of miles in if you wanted to.
Wide easy trails, easy to distance.
This time of year it’s unrideable with all the hoof prints littering the trails. Lame hall of fame.
Nice. Something to do close to my homeIn this Memorial day. 3 and a half hours walking maybe. You can see everything.Chose the appropriate shoes the cows make holes in the mud in some trial section
Nice trail! 1st time and took my dog. Didnt know they didnt allow dogs. Made a decision to ignore the sign, she loved it though! She didnt want to go home, almost made me chase her to go home
Did not allowed so unable to do trails but georgeous to look at. Easy to find.
Open space, good hike areaBathroom very clean, nice space close to the city American Canyon.
The loop trail gradually ascends the rolling hills and wraps around a nice creak shaded by lovely oaks and buckeye. The views at the top and wildflowers along the trail are a feast for the eyes. The gradual ascent makes this a moderate difficulty trail, but for the most part, its an easy walk, suitable for all hiking levels. Definitely recommend! Mowing the trail more frequently would make it 5 stars easily.
AWESOME took the family out and had snacks while watching the fireworks from several different cities.
Absolutely beautiful and grounding. Much respect to the farmers that maintain the place and EBP.
It feels like you are in the prairie lands of oaklahoma.
Awesome
Nice little place to get some exercise and grab a few views. I like the old historic barns on the way in and the little micro diversified in the terrain. Kind of wish you could park a little closer to the hills for a quicker path to cardio.
Easily accessable. Pleasant walk
Great spot to hike and mountain bike. Also, good birding and other wildlife opportunities. Trails vary from easy to moderate in difficulty. Picnic tables and public restrooms are on site.
Beautiful hike. Great views.
Great hiking in Vallejo. There are wonderful views of the bay and many different trails. Newell connects with Lynch Canyon so you get even more hiking options!
Nice spot
I love this place we found a wild cat in our trial was awesome!
They could do more with the trails, although the views are nice.
I Love taking my dog out here. He has a lot of space to run around.
Great for going on runs, but I would recommend bringing a second person with you.
Nice place to have an easy hike
Its not crowded and its a piece of nature close to the city.
Boring tinderbox walk
Great clear trails
Very nice and clean.
Pretty. But when the trail gets muddy and horses go through, the mud dries with holes just big enough for your foot to get caught in so that you can sprain your ankle.
Peaceful
Beautiful.
Nice hiking trail in American Canyon
I enjoy the beautiful views
